THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT ON THIS VIDEO! FOR THE SERIOUS ARTISTS! LEARN THE BEST TECHNIQUES FOR BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANACED ARTISTS! WITH MY NEW AVAILABLE COURSES NOW LIVE AT: www.tattoocoaching.com 🙏🏼🖤
Thanks for all ur videos bro!👍.....i have had back problem's too...hang upside down on inversion table for 10 mins a day...shit changed my life back pain gone.
Exactly what I did my whole career ,reading books, taking seminars, watching other artist work that I liked. I started tattooing in the 90’s. Before UA-cam. And it was almost impossible to get in to a shop then. I put tattooing aside for a while and started a family. After our kids grew up and moved out I started back tattooing with more of a drive then ever. 7 days a week I slept, eat and breathed tattooing it did and has consumed everything I am. A year ago I got an opportunity to work for a tattoo shop in my home town that has been around for ten years. I had always wanted to work there and now I do. So I goes to show if you work hard and devote yourself to this craft you can become a tattooist.
Please smash a like on the video that way I know you want to see more videos like this one, if we hit 1,000 likes I’ll do another one of these! Thank you all for the support! Truly blessed with the community we have built! 🙏🏼🖤
Love the video and all the info. This would be great to turn into a series. Your kinda like a sports commentator but for tattooing, exactly what the community didn’t know we needed. Aston Reynold is definitely using a round shader.
I wanna say thanks bro I’ve learned quite a bit since I’ve been watching your channel I just started tattooing about 4 months ago and my shading is way better after your stippling techniques plz keep the videos coming I’m hoping to switch to rotary soon
hey bud, thAnk u and so muCh grAtituDe in your shaRes, im a tattooist, realism. my whole life ive been drawn to charcoal and graphite. realism.. i tell people dis, I'm a visual artist, put charcoal I can draw you to a T so when it comes to understanding that person I see truth in the lie, truth in the truth, truth in your eyes, truth in your body. I c it all... Because I've been drawing my whole life, animals and people. to a T, capturing emotions in eye, studied the anatomy. As I capture feeling in the eyes, truth may show is it so, by what is shown in the stance of the body. ANYWAZ, SORE BACK, HAVE YA THOUGHT BOUT CHAIR THAT HAS SEAT TILTED A CERTAIN DEGREE, OR LIKE WEAR THAT BACK SUPPORT. OR FIND A CHAIR THAT THE SEATS CENTER PART IS FABRIC NOT WOOD!
Thanks for the videos bro and I been doing this since the whole virus thing started n my work has come leaps n bounds watching you and a few other sick artists so thanks again
Sorsa using the Packer as Daniel silva and mister troshin. Sorsar portrait tattoos takes 7 sessions. With this technique he cant make it in few hours. Nicki using the liner. But Jason Ramos using all Chinese machines and makes the same results all the time. And he does make the tattoos with more contrast and faster than Sorsa.
I have watched this video like 10 times already. And every time I watch it and not only this one, most of your videos, I get lots of new stuff to be mindful about and to learn. I guess this is because what I get from them is according with what I can actually see and understand with the level of the tattoos I am doing. The more experienced u get the more u will learn and see in those videos
My tattoos evolved because of David. During covid lockdowns I saw his work and it just changed me. I never dared get into portrait tattoos untill then. I've watched his videos and lives thousands of times and have put in thousands of hours in practice to. His technique is the only way I can tattoo. No where near where thr master is at but I'm growing everytime I turn on that machine. I've only posted a few practice skins on here but you can see what I mean. Practice skins and real skin is definitely not the same but it helps build technique with repetition :) Thanks for these videos brotha
i could watch you talk tattoo everyday all day. thanks for spending the time you do on teaching. i did a shop apprenticeship for two years and i didnt learn anywhere to amount ive learned in 5 months of youtube and tattooing from home. idk now if i could ever go back to a shop, i use to get stressed out when 5 ppl would be standing over me watching me .. in silence. but your videos have taught me more than my mentor who tattooed for 22 yrs, just lost his passion. you still have it and it reads. so thanks again for being an international mentor to alot of people
The way you teach is the best for me … I have learned a lot from you. I don’t have words for your kindness . You are the only god I can see … thank you so much sir … Love and respect from India 🙏
I think you did a real good job at putting emphasis on each technique performed. During the video I paused and had to go over the tattoo on my hand. And when I continued it. You were talking about exactly what I saw wrong. The consistency speed of my hand and the way I was shading. This video taught me to layer and keep light the shading. Thank you for the video. It was great.
Really great observations and video here. This is what the world of tattooing has come to where most of the artists are on their own and must learn on their own.
Part 2 please! I became an apprentice 6 months ago and this art has become my life. Can't get my mind out of it and I just want to keep improving. I'm a big fan of yours and many other great tattoo artists out there! Thanks for sharing!
that's the thing with most tattooers, is the point at which you understand your hand speed versus machine speed. there really is no need for single stiff pass at 12 volts lol, after years and years a tattooer will understand the little delicate techniques needed for whatever style ! just dont give up!
One year late to this gem of a video series, I literally watched all 3 videos back to back to back. And I feel like my techniques got better by simply looking at this. Amazing series, please do some more, your insights are wonderful.
Lol that moment at 44.05 you go " look me in the eyes" followed up by little smile xD was looking and listening to the videos all along snapped me right out. Awesome Video with lots of useful information, just waiting for my machine to arrive finally after many years of saying I wanna tattoo (been drawing all my life) gonna get started so soon I'll be able to implement every tip and trick I can find. Thanks :D
Hey Oli ! Thank YOU ! its like the most helpfull video EVER.. love it, please continue. Cant wait for another one. Hope your back dont kill you anymore :)
Great piece of work mate. Love the different artists and techniques you showcased here and the commentary was spot on giving great detailed explanations of all the work. Thank you so much for packing these great artists/techniques and explanations in one vid.
This was so incredibly helpful!! Thank you so much for this video. Normally when I'm trying to learn I don't know the right questions to ask, it's like I watch but don't know what information I should be taking in, but you explaining what you're trying to digest was invaluable for my learning!
You May have to start tattooing with a back brace to straighten out your back I have the same problem This was a good listen tho I move pretty fast when I'm tattooing
Love the vids keep em coming! The Second machine with the red grip is a Dan kubin sidewinder! Handmade Rotary machine using standard needles. It has the hit/bog of a coil with the consistency of a rotary truly a piece of art!
@@subwooferroads I’ve looked into it, when it first came out! It looks pretty neat! Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to try it. The mechanism has a very unique way of letting the cam have a slapping “hit” on it’s down stroke while not being too complicated. A very nice piece of craftsmanship! Definitely a piece for the collection!
Sometimes when im barely grazing the skin to achieve a lighter tone it feels like ink is going but 2 to 3 days later the ink flakes off in the first layer.
Possibly not deep enough man. Keep up tattooing depth is hard at first but once u get it your tattoos healed drastically improve. Don’t let it get you down and I always say for new artist the width of a dime is about the perfect depth.
Great Job 👍🏼 I’ve seen Alex Sorza using a Roy Richardson rotary in one of his video on instagram... but i dont know if he has one with 4.2 or 3.5 mm stroke... As for speed you are spot on... Franco Vescovi did mentionned in one of his video about that rattling noise due to low speed when doing the stippling effect
Be good to hear your thoughts about Jason Ramos and lilb. Your doing a great job yourself. I found your videos about a year or so ago, best person out there for helping us get into the business or just starting out. I’ve just opened my own place a month ago and you’ve defo helped me get to here! Big thanks mate!
hey man , marvellous knowlegde !! to the back pain you have got, take some collagen peptides once or twice a week. its a wonder potion for pains and old back injuries.
