No the citron is more of a sniper rifle a low fire rate mostly good for a small group of enemies or to pick off strong enemies from the group and the coconut cannon is a rocket launcher extremely low fire rate mostly used for fining out groups of enemies or destroy builds and other small structures (gravestones)

You're wrong! Coconut cannon damage in 10 level is above 1200 at least, he is like an rpg or literally a cannon! The video show clearly that cytron its not stronger than coconut

Basically the coconut is made for multiple enemies whereas citron is made for strong individuals
same goes for dazey chain and draftodil cause people like to compare them so much
dazey chain is made as crowd control and late game plant meanwhile draftodil is made as support plant

The last part of the video shows why it's not always a good thing,
Citron has to waste shots for taking out weak zombies, something that CC doesn't have to do as often if you can time it properly.

To anyone wondering the first song of the video is called “Mortals”
I think both have their advantages. Coconut Cannon is useful in crowd control, since it has splash damage that will defeat the least powerful zombies, but needs help because os the recharge of the seed packet and to fire again. Citron isn't as good in crowds, since it only deals damage to one zombie, but it's useful for more resistant zombies because the damage is really high and the fire rate faster. I say Citron wins, but Coconut Cannon isn't as useless as people say.
Edit: Besides, Citron, being automatic, fires as soon as he sees a zombie on the lawn, so you waste a projectile sometimes and it can be dangerous. Coconut Cannon only fires when you tell him to do so, not wasting coconuts in the process.

Акжол Хасен if the pushback is really that important use your plantfood to remove the recharge of hurrikale then. It even pushes back things behind it so even things behind the last tile can be pushed back potentially. Hurrikale is an excellent instant anyway. Citron and coconut cannon aren’t very useful a lot of times due to being expensive. They really are only useful on four wave stages honestly there’s better expensive towers like winter melon which has great crowd control due to aoe slow. And honestly if you want burst damage just bring a few instants and primal potato mines or plant food a peashooter line tower or maybe a zoybean if you feel fancy

There is certain case scenarios where either coco cannon is better than citron or citron is better than coco cannon
Citron is like coconut cannon but lot faster to charge its attack. Same amount of sun 225/225. Coconut's power up is also useful for other strong zombie and push them back.
Citron's power up is the most useful as it look like its rhubarbarian pushing zombies away.

Coconut canon is best because for the same price they can blow up one lane for more damage and lanes on the side with splash. Its special also pushes back heavily even if not killing. It being manual also is good cause you can time explosions and over all they are better as a team. Anyone who disagrees is sadly incorrect :/
Yeah if a small zombie comes the Citron kills it instantly but if it's the coconut cannon you can not fire it and save the blast

Citron is appealing to most people, but when it comes to functionality and raw stratagy, as well as versitility, the coconut canon is not only better, but its amount of uses is extreme. It simply is better. I mean, i prefer the chomper over the pea shooter chomper cause i love its design, but no one in their right mind is gona say the regular standard chomper is better then the pea chomper. So id suggest chilling out -_-

If you dont want to top up, the only way is saving the diamond by completing daily task/arena and choose one type of seed bundle (jurassic marsh, modern day, pirate etc) until max lv

But i know something important coconut cannon generally better on max level but not on level 1 because
Cocunut cannon shoots one in every 15 seconds at level 1
But the other thing shoots like every 8 seconds
So that means coconut cannon benefits way more when you ugrade it because cooldown decreases so much more
That is the reason coconut cannon wins at max level and loses at level 1

Area of damage,plus damage per hit,
And reload,if you plant coconut in 4 length,5 height (4x5) or more you can clear the entire path in one barrage,unlike citron its killing capability was only one target, in power plant you can clear the whole line but it will stop, if enemy have gaguantar/machines etc,in coconut an very good,excellence devestating power with a AOE of 3x3
