Had to delete about 7 comments already that are spoilers. It’s insane people can’t fathom that saying something like “oh yeah believe Cersei when she says she’ll get her enemies” is a spoiler. Brain dead

@@TheMikeLawzSeriously. I used to get mad at my “friends” for this when I was younger. Like hinting at things wasn’t a “real spoiler” and didn’t ruin half the anticipation for me 🙄 When you first see/read things like this there are a million ideas running through your head about where it could be going, but some people just can’t seem to help themselves in hinting at things to come.
Not sure if you missed it early in the show, but the fire not burning Daenerys was foreshadowed early on when she picked up one of the dragon eggs out of a fire and didn't get any burns on her hands even though her handmaiden did after grabbing the egg from her.
And even earlier when she stepped into a bath that had just been filled with boiling water, the servant says "no, it's too hot, my lady!"

I'm a long time book fan, and just finished House of the Dragon and ran out of satisfying recaps and reviews of Season 2. I was holding my breath when you were watching the execution scene lol. Also just wanna mention that Dany asked the witch to take care of Drogo’s wound and she purposefully infected it/poisoned it. Pretty much during her little speech to Dany, she’s telling her “why would you ever expect me to help you when I have all the reason to want to destroy both you and your husband” and also her bit about the sun rising in the west and setting in the east was a long winded way of saying that it’ll never happen unfortunately

You saw that deserter from the Nights Watch get beheaded by Ned Stark in the first episode. Jon can’t leave and if he managed to reach Robb now that he’s The King in the North, Robb might’ve had to kill Jon for deserting The Wall. Jon’s Nights Watch brothers saved his life.
Sansa going before the court pleading for her father was staged by Cersei. When she arrives and wants to speak up, you can see Cersie nodding to her to go along and when she starts talking it sounds rehearsed. Joffrey is also ready with the solution of giving Ned the opportunity to "confess his crimes". It was all planned ahead. Sansa had no choice but to play along.
Thank you for commenting this so many people hate Sansa but just like almost all the young ladies she was a scared child don’t get me wrong even I got annoyed but I definitely see just how scared she really was one minute she’s a lady and her father is the kings hand the next their traitors to the crown.
@@shania991 So many people hate Sansa, but she is my favorite character. GoT is a "show-don't-tell" kind of show and there are so many little clues scattered in every single episode to explain why she behaves how she behaves.
Like for example, we see her attending her lessons and taking it seriously, so we know she is brought up to be a "proper lady" and not thinking about anything else - makes total sense for her to fall for Joffrey and wanting to be queen and have children.
In Sansa's world Arya is the one to behave very strange and out of place, so Sansa being annoyed at her sister befriending and swordfighting the butchers boy is totally valid. We as the viewer might live in a world were girls can do what they want, but Sansa lives in a world were girls are forbidden to play with weapons and talk back to highborns.
We see Sansa copying her mom's hairstyle when she is in the north, but changing it to Cersei's style as soon as she is in KL, showing her admiration for Cersei and again her thrive to become lady/queen like her. Of course that would influence her, watching how Cersei behaves, hearing how she talks - so that's why she talks down on her Septa.

And even saying something like "Ned Stark is my favorite character especially in the last season" is a kind of spoiler, because everytime that character comes close to dying, you'd know they survive because they have to be in the last season. The rule should be to only comment as if you have only seen the show upt o this point as well, there should just be no talking about future events - period.

There are a whole bunch of small ones that you wouldn't notice either like Cormac playing Dickon Tarly (the first one), or the voice of Aragog being Maester Pycelle, etc. They are LITTERED throughout the series.

That little boy in Winterfell is Rickon, the youngest Stark child. There are five legitimate Stark children and then there's Jon, who is a bastard. So six children in total. Each have their own direwolf.
Here are the names of the Stark kids and direwolves. (All info from season one)
Robb: direwolf is Grey Wolf
Sansa: direwolf was Lady :( (Queen demanded that Lady die in place of Ayra's direwolf because they couldn't find her)
Ayra: direwolf was Nymeria (Ayra let her run off so she wouldn't be killed for biting Joffery)
Bran: direwolf is Summer
Rickon: direwolf is Shaggydog
Jon Snow: direwolf is Ghost

I think lots of people overlook that it wasn’t a cut, per se, that killed Drogo. If it had been washed and left alone, he probably would have been fine. But the witch killed him in retaliation for the abuses she suffered. She was the one who “treated it” and had no intention of ever helping him. She seized an opportunity. And then drove her point home to Dany by killing her son in exchange for Drogo’s “life”
And that one guy who told her not to allow the witch to treat Drogo was right all along. Also died trying to stop her from killing Danny’s unborn without realizing it. Kind of an unsung hero lol

In season one they say it took a month to get from kings landing to winterfell and the wall is farther north.
But the kings group had a wagon to slow them so less if you ride hard.

Important thing to remember. the first season of this show had a relatively low budget. Thus, the battle scenes are nothing to write home about. But each season, the budget got bigger and the battles way more epic. Until, in my opinion, some of the battles might surpass anything you see in Lord of the Rings.
So you know, this show is partially inspired by the real time event called, "The Wars of the Roses." That lasted 30 years. It was basically a Civil war between the Lancasters(Lanistors) and the Yorks(Starks). It eventually led to the Tudor dynasty. Henry the 8th was the son of Henry the 7th. Henry the 7th won the final battle of the Wars by killing Richard the 3rd, The King with a hunchback, of Shakespeare fame. And becoming the first Tudor King.
From what I read and saw in a mini series called "The White Queen," on Stars, the Wars of the Roses were every bit as brutal and plot twist filled as this show is.

I get how you feel but the point of the deaths is consequences to their actions. Ned misstepped in assuming Cersei would flee with her kids when he threatened to reveal her secret and not calculating the risk to his family. His consequences was losing his head. Robert misstepped in trusting a Lannister cupbearer (the reason his death is off screen is to imply the lannisters did something to him to lead to his death).
THIS people forget everybody isn’t a stark so all the honor and doing what’s Wright isn’t going to be everybody else’s tune especially for the Lannister’s considering their history.

I remember watching Ned's death for the first time with my mom and brother. Right after it happened, I remember shouting "Turn it off! I'm done! I'm done!" I did watch all the way through though. It's worth it to keep watching. 😊

The death of Ned was very neccessary. It very much started the whole show. Also I don't know how much we could have seen hin in combat after S1. His knee was hurt pretty bad and I don't know if in that time frame it would ever fully heal

I definitely get your feelings but killing Ned pretty much sets the game into motion the issue is when Ned played he did so with honor not considering the Lannister’s aren’t about honor their about power and Cedric is about self preservation.
