Hey Kenny, I’ve suggested this idea before, but this time I wrote it out fully. It’s based off of JJ Redick’s perfect teams around MJ and Shaq.
Challenge Idea
-Must run a 9 man rotation throughout the season and playoffs
-Must put the 2 teams in different conferences
-Will see which team performs better, then attempt to create your own perfect teams (around MJ and Shaq)
OR
Attempt to build a team to beat these premade teams without taking any of their pieces
-Must stay under the salary cap

For some reason, Expansion Teams in 2k are "Extremely" good when it comes to Simulation.
I've used a dozen of different Expansion teams in the past, and it doesn't matter how bad the players are on the team.
They somehow end up Top-5 in defense, if you don't fire the Coach they give you.

Number 1- You can't. Game only lets you expand in North America, even then it limits you.
Number 2- Unrealistic, like comment above said no hoop culture. and then the travelling would be diabolical + timezone differences are too large.
You technically can make a UK themed team it will just have to be in like colorado or something.

As a Mexican I hope NBA expands to México obviosly after NBA Expansion in LV and Seattle (I think is necessary than both cities join to NBA), btw I would like that the expansion in México has 2 teams like Toronto and Vancouver in 1995
México City and Monterrey I think are the best candidates for expansion. Currently in Mexico, basketball is increasingly popular, generally with the youngest people, and I think that at some point it will surpass baseball as the 2nd most famous sport, at least in the big cities
