I trust in the Lord wholeheartedly with life,family relationship, future, and goals. I'm tryna get at does God knows I'm taking time off boxing chasing after him. I'm amateur boxer things been kinda going slow with in school my last yr. and stuff to graduate. Things been going slow but he told we gonna back on track. So I went to God and prayed asked God is ur will for me to fulfill all works and deeds ur purpose. I like I really glorify and thank God b4 I start training I say prayer and pay respect to him and thank him then I box afterward I do the same and thank him for his glory nd mercy. I'm really a young Christian who finally gave up all his sins/sacrificed everything just walk with God and Jesus but mane walking the narrow road it's hard I'm trying everyday I found peace, love, joy, self control, kindness, and gentleness. But I been working on self control and longsuffering which I prolly already do its hard man. My uncle told me and prophesied said I'm the chosen by God even my cousin said I really did understand it all but now I do. I love to help people through hards times or just generous and talk to them give advice Godly advice I pray 4 em I encourage them I care for them u love all people and me I love make with ppl I don't try see everyone as treat I see different i look into that hearts and see where's it at and mind. I'm always putting bible versus and I feel as God talks through me bc Ik right thing to put.
Christ is the only perfect rolw model for us to look up to or follow when or if we lose sight of our own individual priorities. WWJD? is the most influential advice that I have ever heard. If I was to experience a moment of despair or doubt or disappointment, then I will try to remember that Jesus Christ has already given me the perfect example of what to do. And that is serve God. You read through the Bible it shows a plethara of stories regarding men who followed the desires of their own heart. This is of course dealing as a new creature seeking the will of God. We follow our hearts because that is now where God dwells within us. It is Him speaking to our hearts. That's where we follow the desires of our hearts because it's literally God speaking to us through it! If you want to find who it's from...it says in the beginning, God will never be contradictory to His Word.
To clarify what they were saying, if you have a heart that has been cleansed from its carnal nature(is sanctified) then to follow the desires of your heart would be to follow the desires of Christ, because through his work your desires have become his. Even if your saved but just not sanctified your desires will still be carnal(sinful) because you haven't been cleansed from that.
Guys! There is a difference between God's Will of Decree (what He ordains will happen, which will happen no matter what - i.e. creation of the world, Christ's payment for sins) and God's Will of Desire (His moral will, as revealed within the Bible. These instructions, of course, can be disobeyed.) One can be resisted, the other cannot. But other than that, God's will is not some "secret plan" hidden from us that we must discover. And thus we pray, close our eyes etc. and wait for nudgings toward what might be God's will. Not at all. See: Decision Making and the Will of God by Garry Frieson. Super-helpful on this topic. Right. How many times have we wanted something and "followed our hearts" only to have our plan blow in our face? The Bible doesn't say ANYWHERE to follow your dreams or your heart. 90% of the time, following God will mean going against it. We can always pray for whatever we want but we should pray for HIS WILL to be done no matter what.

These guys are funny, but they are teaching lies through their humor. Literally this video grieved my heart! We should not be following our heart and just being who we are, the scripture says the heart is utterly deceitful above all things and God spoke through the prophets that because they followed the dictates of their own hearts they went astray. 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 tells us Gods will, and Romans 8:1-16 tells us how to walk in that will. Consider what Jesus said when He told us that we have to pick up our cross daily and deny ourselves to follow Him, or what Paul wrote when he said that we must be conformed to Christs death on the cross in dying to ourselves and living to Him by the power of the Holy Spirit. Whatever you do, don't just follow your own heart or just be yourself, deny yourself, pick up the cross and follow Christ Jesus with your hope and desire fixed on Him!
+David Istre I felt the same way about how they worded the ending; but in the beginning of this movie he does say that whatever Gods will for your life is it will NOT contradict the Bible. So he did state it but it should have been emphasized much more.
Psalm 37:4 - Take delight in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. I think what they're trying to get at here is that we are supposed to be who God made us to be, and as long as we're giving God glory in everything that we do, he will bless our paths.
Jesus gave us a new heart, that's what they're talking about. That Proverbs scripture is in the Old Testament, but these guys are just talking about the new heart that we have as believers. We have already died, so we can live as Christ, and besides, when you delight yourself in the Lord, He WILL give you what your heart desires, for they will be His desires. I don't think they were trying to convey the wrong message...
David Istre If we are truly studying the Word, Good makes our hearts desire His Will. If we are constantly saying, "Here I am, God. Transform me into what you want me to be. Take away any pieces of me that cause us to be apart. Replace those things with you, and that which draws me closer to you." This requires regular time with God, regular time with God's people, and regular time in God's Word. When we do that, and we want that, He changes our hearts and lives. If we constantly check in with God, we are more likely to be in His Will, and more likely to desire (in our hearts) His Will. That is what Ps. 37:4 says.

I believe the desires of our hearts change when we follow Gods will in our lives. The love of God in our hearts changes us, not the carnal hearts love, which are 2 different things. Much like man with out God can never love like a man who has God in his heart. We spend our whole lives only to come full circle.
Basically God wants us to ignore what the world thinks and be yourself if you do right praise and thank the Lord if you do wrong or are wronged by another then forgive and repent.

Many today find repugnant the very idea of submitting to someone else’s will. Even in so-called stable societies there is a growing rebellion against authority. Riots, protests, disorder, and violence are on a daily basis. Under stress the veneer of civilization turns out to be thin and brittle. (2 Timothy 3:1-3) So an interesting question arises: Why should I submit to God’s will? Why should my life be controlled by God? Peter, who had shared many experiences with Jesus, believed that there was a very good reason to live for God’s will rather than for one’s own. He said: “Therefore since Christ suffered in the flesh, you too arm yourselves with the same mental disposition; because the person that has suffered in the flesh has desisted from sins, to the end that he may live the remainder of his time in the flesh, no more for the desires of men, but for God’s will.” (1 Peter 4:1, 2) Why did Jesus suffer in the flesh? Because he supported his Father’s side in the issue of universal sovereignty, or rulership. He proved God to be true and Satan a liar. And he did that by letting his earthly life be controlled by God, even though it resulted in a martyr’s death. (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15) Yet that death was an expression of God’s love through Christ. (1 John 4:10) Why so? Because as a result of it, benefits were made available to all mankind. (Romans 5:8; 6:23) But how many are willing to accept those benefits? How many are willing to imitate Christ and sacrifice their own desires in submission to God’s will? (Hebrews 13:15, 17) Sadly, not many!
I love your videos, but although your effects were pretty awesome, I found that I focused less on the words and more on the effects. They are really eye grabbing. But I didn't focus on what you were saying. I don't know if it's the same with other people but just a suggestion for future videos.
If you don't know God's will you are lost. If you are still seeking His will you don't know His will. Paul repeatedly says DO NOT BE CONFUSED ABOUT GOD'S WILL and yet I can't find a pastor on youtube who knows God's will. What a wicked generation we live in!
Jesus knows the Father that's why He believes the Father. If you don't know Jesus you will not believe He will answer your prayers. When you know Jesus you know He does not lie and what you ask in His Name you will receive that the Father will be glorified. When I was in bible study in church some of the people told the bible study teacher they used the bible too much. This is the reason why most people in the church love their sin they do not read God's Word for direction and correction. We're created to change the world. To pray that God through Christ Jesus changes the mindsets of people. God who is Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwells in us. The Spirit who raised Christ Jesus dwells in us. We have power over the devil and all evil. These disobedient angels that torment non-believers fear the Spirit that dwells in us. These are the last days the Bible is true how people having a form of godliness but denying its power. I've watched too many videos of those who say they believe God denying His Power. It doesn't matter what non-believers do or think we have the power of The Holy Spirit to pray the Father through Christ Jesus to rebuke the evil in humans so they will no longer be in bondage by the devil. Use your power stop fearing humans and start changing the world with your words. God supplies our needs no one needs to please people to get money God will provide not the government or your jobs. Hi I just wanted to share my opinion on this video. I was wanting to work and listen to this while I was working. I am a digital artist so I don't really need to think some times when drawing it can be a mindless work and more like putting in time to finish the art. But I found it very frustrating just to listen to this.. I realize maybe you where trying to make things entertaining by adding a funny plot, but I for one did not find it at all funny. Instead I felt like I was watching(in my head) the sort of cartoon that assists children in having ADD, Now believe me I am no expert in this ... but you couldn't stay in one topic. This is a serious thing, Gods will is not a joke, I sincerely wanted to hear what you where saying and every time you where about to give, what sounded like it could be some good information... you just took it away with some distracting information... I'm over here thinking... yes yes what is it? .... what?.... what is going on... what a waist of time... I didn't come here to listen to 2 grown man being silly What you said to that guys was very dangerous.. follow the desires of his heart? You don't know what the desires of his heart are... If the desires of his heart is to sleep with prostitutes then you just told him to go do that... Being ourselfs?.. I am not sure that was good advice either.. All you have to prove your point are your own personal experiences with this god, scriptures that you assume are accurate and your faith. And what makes you believe this god you believe is the right and real one when there are thousands of other religions which claim their god is the real one? You have to admit that they all CAN'T be true.
I like the skit guys but i really don't agree with some of the things said in this video. 1.) Sometimes God's will includes doing some things that we don't necessarily want to do or like doing. 2.) Following the desires of our hearts...not such a good idea and God never tells us to do that in His Word. He says He will give us the desires of our hearts IF we delight ourselves in Him. And I feel honesty is the highest degree of courtesy I can offer. I'm also not offended by "god" since I can't be offended by something that doesn't exist. But I do feel strongly when it comes to faith-based belief because it's not based on sound grounds and that can lead to unwise decisions that affect others.

So I'm simply trying to inform people that a world view based on reason and critical thinking will better serve mankind. You're engaging in what's known as Pascal's wager. Look it up if you're not familiar. I saw countless facebook posts by people were keeping the victims "in their prayers". What's that supposed to do for them or anyone else? The answer is nothing. Prayer is useless. It only benefits those doing the praying by giving them the false sense that they're doing something when in actuality they're doing absolutely nothing. Deeds...not prayers. DEEDS.
I wondered what the purpose of prayer is. If everything happens according to god's will (I wish I had a dime for every time I heard "It's part of god's plan"), then as far as I can tell, prayer is useless. People pray to keep their loved ones safe. But one get's into a car accident. Then they pray again for god save them. But the person dies. So what's the purpose in praying to change or alter events if it's all god's will? In essence, they're asking god to change his mind. Senseless.

This is the Will of God. Does not the sxriptures say Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Pray, commit your way to the Lord, and then act. And trust that he will guide your steps. - if it all falls in a heap, you know it's not meant to be. Proverbs 16:9 'In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.' Sometimes you just have to jump in - and trust God. Isn't just doing what you want, following the desires of your heart, in essence, doing your will, as opposed to God's will? Jesus at the garden of gethsemane said, not my will, but Yours be done, when speaking to God the Father I do think there's a level of coming to know and understand yourself could help lead you to what God is calling you to, but our hearts/minds need to be renewed. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be too, but people's cares/heart is not always focused on God or obedience to God.

As children of the truth we are supposed to embrace, love, extend mercy to, and accept others. Not others' sins, but the person himself/herself. @MrEmbracedarkness God doesn't require us to love Him. He loves us so much that He gave us freedom to choose what to believe. He doesn't want us to go to Hell, He wants us to spend eternity with Him. If you sent your only son to be persecuted and killed on a cross for someone, and you go through a bunch of pain, wouldn't you want that person to be grateful and love you for it? He gave us choices, and if we want to follow Him, we have to take up the cross everyday and thank God for His mercy

Hi, I understand what you are saying, it is sad that people in your life have misrepresented who God is and what His will is. Remember, that only in Christianity does God bleed, in fact, Jesus died on a cross of roman crucifixion, God identifies with our pain and suffering, I hate it when people make God responsible for the death of a baby, His word is very clear, that His will is that none should perish. I ask you to seek God on the matter of His will rather than people.

I trust in the Lord wholeheartedly with life,family relationship, future, and goals. I'm tryna get at does God knows I'm taking time off boxing chasing after him. I'm amateur boxer things been kinda going slow with in school my last yr. and stuff to graduate. Things been going slow but he told we gonna back on track. So I went to God and prayed asked God is ur will for me to fulfill all works and deeds ur purpose. I like I really glorify and thank God b4 I start training I say prayer and pay respect to him and thank him then I box afterward I do the same and thank him for his glory nd mercy. I'm really a young Christian who finally gave up all his sins/sacrificed everything just walk with God and Jesus but mane walking the narrow road it's hard I'm trying everyday I found peace, love, joy, self control, kindness, and gentleness. But I been working on self control and longsuffering which I prolly already do its hard man. My uncle told me and prophesied said I'm the chosen by God even my cousin said I really did understand it all but now I do. I love to help people through hards times or just generous and talk to them give advice Godly advice I pray 4 em I encourage them I care for them u love all people and me I love make with ppl I don't try see everyone as treat I see different i look into that hearts and see where's it at and mind. I'm always putting bible versus and I feel as God talks through me bc Ik right thing to put.

The heart is not wicked. A heart set on Jesus Christ cannot be wicked. A heart that is not is wicked. There's a big difference.
The heart IS wicked UNLESS one is made a new creation BY GOD. repentance is the first step towards it. Teaching ppl to follow their heart when they are NOT YET regenerate is misleading them or even leading them into thinking that they CAN, or even ARE TO, sin IF their heart so desires, and that it IS God's will.
There are good desires of the heart when your a new creation in Christ.

Look at Psalm 37:4 - The phrase "the desires of your heart" can mean multiple things from lust and sin to God's perfect will.

This is of course dealing as a new creature seeking the will of God. We follow our hearts because that is now where God dwells within us. It is Him speaking to our hearts. That's where we follow the desires of our hearts because it's literally God speaking to us through it! If you want to find who it's from...it says in the beginning, God will never be contradictory to His Word.
To clarify what they were saying, if you have a heart that has been cleansed from its carnal nature(is sanctified) then to follow the desires of your heart would be to follow the desires of Christ, because through his work your desires have become his. Even if your saved but just not sanctified your desires will still be carnal(sinful) because you haven't been cleansed from that.
Guys! There is a difference between God's Will of Decree (what He ordains will happen, which will happen no matter what - i.e. creation of the world, Christ's payment for sins) and God's Will of Desire (His moral will, as revealed within the Bible. These instructions, of course, can be disobeyed.)
One can be resisted, the other cannot.
But other than that, God's will is not some "secret plan" hidden from us that we must discover. And thus we pray, close our eyes etc. and wait for nudgings toward what might be God's will. Not at all. See: Decision Making and the Will of God by Garry Frieson. Super-helpful on this topic. God bless.

Right. How many times have we wanted something and "followed our hearts" only to have our plan blow in our face? The Bible doesn't say ANYWHERE to follow your dreams or your heart. 90% of the time, following God will mean going against it. We can always pray for whatever we want but we should pray for HIS WILL to be done no matter what.

These guys are funny, but they are teaching lies through their humor. Literally this video grieved my heart! We should not be following our heart and just being who we are, the scripture says the heart is utterly deceitful above all things and God spoke through the prophets that because they followed the dictates of their own hearts they went astray.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 tells us Gods will, and Romans 8:1-16 tells us how to walk in that will. Consider what Jesus said when He told us that we have to pick up our cross daily and deny ourselves to follow Him, or what Paul wrote when he said that we must be conformed to Christs death on the cross in dying to ourselves and living to Him by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Whatever you do, don't just follow your own heart or just be yourself, deny yourself, pick up the cross and follow Christ Jesus with your hope and desire fixed on Him!
+David Istre I felt the same way about how they worded the ending; but in the beginning of this movie he does say that whatever Gods will for your life is it will NOT contradict the Bible. So he did state it but it should have been emphasized much more.

I think what they're trying to get at here is that we are supposed to be who God made us to be, and as long as we're giving God glory in everything that we do, he will bless our paths.
Jesus gave us a new heart, that's what they're talking about. That Proverbs scripture is in the Old Testament, but these guys are just talking about the new heart that we have as believers. We have already died, so we can live as Christ, and besides, when you delight yourself in the Lord, He WILL give you what your heart desires, for they will be His desires.

David Istre If we are truly studying the Word, Good makes our hearts desire His Will. If we are constantly saying, "Here I am, God. Transform me into what you want me to be. Take away any pieces of me that cause us to be apart. Replace those things with you, and that which draws me closer to you." This requires regular time with God, regular time with God's people, and regular time in God's Word. When we do that, and we want that, He changes our hearts and lives. If we constantly check in with God, we are more likely to be in His Will, and more likely to desire (in our hearts) His Will. That is what Ps. 37:4 says.
In the end he comes back and tries to be like him (AKA God.) that’s when he says it’s tough. It’s tough to follow and be like God but that’s what he’s doing. They’re teaching To strive to be like God

I believe the desires of our hearts change when we follow Gods will in our lives. The love of God in our hearts changes us, not the carnal hearts love, which are 2 different things. Much like man with out God can never love like a man who has God in his heart. We spend our whole lives only to come full circle.
Basically God wants us to ignore what the world thinks and be yourself if you do right praise and thank the Lord if you do wrong or are wronged by another then forgive and repent.

Many today find repugnant the very idea of submitting to someone else’s will. Even in so-called stable societies there is a growing rebellion against authority. Riots, protests, disorder, and violence are on a daily basis. Under stress the veneer of civilization turns out to be thin and brittle. (2 Timothy 3:1-3)
So an interesting question arises: Why should I submit to God’s will? Why should my life be controlled by God?
Peter, who had shared many experiences with Jesus, believed that there was a very good reason to live for God’s will rather than for one’s own. He said: “Therefore since Christ suffered in the flesh, you too arm yourselves with the same mental disposition; because the person that has suffered in the flesh has desisted from sins, to the end that he may live the remainder of his time in the flesh, no more for the desires of men, but for God’s will.” (1 Peter 4:1, 2)
Why did Jesus suffer in the flesh? Because he supported his Father’s side in the issue of universal sovereignty, or rulership. He proved God to be true and Satan a liar. And he did that by letting his earthly life be controlled by God, even though it resulted in a martyr’s death. (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15)
Yet that death was an expression of God’s love through Christ. (1 John 4:10) Why so? Because as a result of it, benefits were made available to all mankind. (Romans 5:8; 6:23) But how many are willing to accept those benefits? How many are willing to imitate Christ and sacrifice their own desires in submission to God’s will? (Hebrews 13:15, 17) Sadly, not many!

Jesus knows the Father that's why He believes the Father. If you don't know Jesus you will not believe He will answer your prayers. When you know Jesus you know He does not lie and what you ask in His Name you will receive that the Father will be glorified.
When I was in bible study in church some of the people told the bible study teacher they used the bible too much. This is the reason why most people in the church love their sin they do not read God's Word for direction and correction. We're created to change the world. To pray that God through Christ Jesus changes the mindsets of people. God who is Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwells in us. The Spirit who raised Christ Jesus dwells in us. We have power over the devil and all evil. These disobedient angels that torment non-believers fear the Spirit that dwells in us.
These are the last days the Bible is true how people having a form of godliness but denying its power. I've watched too many videos of those who say they believe God denying His Power. It doesn't matter what non-believers do or think we have the power of The Holy Spirit to pray the Father through Christ Jesus to rebuke the evil in humans so they will no longer be in bondage by the devil.
Use your power stop fearing humans and start changing the world with your words. God supplies our needs no one needs to please people to get money God will provide not the government or your jobs.

Hi I just wanted to share my opinion on this video. I was wanting to work and listen to this while I was working. I am a digital artist so I don't really need to think some times when drawing it can be a mindless work and more like putting in time to finish the art. But I found it very frustrating just to listen to this.. I realize maybe you where trying to make things entertaining by adding a funny plot, but I for one did not find it at all funny. Instead I felt like I was watching(in my head) the sort of cartoon that assists children in having ADD, Now believe me I am no expert in this ... but you couldn't stay in one topic. This is a serious thing, Gods will is not a joke, I sincerely wanted to hear what you where saying and every time you where about to give, what sounded like it could be some good information... you just took it away with some distracting information... I'm over here thinking... yes yes what is it? .... what?.... what is going on... what a waist of time... I didn't come here to listen to 2 grown man being silly

@davidr7965 -- First of all, I am atheist. Second, how do you know all that stuff about this god which you can't even prove its real? All you have to prove your point are your own personal experiences with this god, scriptures that you assume are accurate and your faith. And what makes you believe this god you believe is the right and real one when there are thousands of other religions which claim their god is the real one? You have to admit that they all CAN'T be true.
I like the skit guys but i really don't agree with some of the things said in this video. 1.) Sometimes God's will includes doing some things that we don't necessarily want to do or like doing. 2.) Following the desires of our hearts...not such a good idea and God never tells us to do that in His Word. He says He will give us the desires of our hearts IF we delight ourselves in Him. And I feel honesty is the highest degree of courtesy I can offer. I'm also not offended by "god" since I can't be offended by something that doesn't exist. But I do feel strongly when it comes to faith-based belief because it's not based on sound grounds and that can lead to unwise decisions that affect others.
@JGomez32mmafiend24 It's extremely alarming realization that politicians believe in an invisible sky daddy and actually make decisions that affect my life based on this delusion. So I'm simply trying to inform people that a world view based on reason and critical thinking will better serve mankind. A single pair of working hands will do far more good than a billion clasped in prayer.

You're engaging in what's known as Pascal's wager. Look it up if you're not familiar. And if jesus is who you believe he is, then wont he know in your heart that you're just playing it safe and avoiding risk of losing everlasting life in that big amusement park in the sky.
@kitface09 So how does talking to god thru prayer help anyone other than yourself? Say for instance, the victims of the Japan tsunami? I saw countless facebook posts by people were keeping the victims "in their prayers". What's that supposed to do for them or anyone else? The answer is nothing. Prayer is useless. It only benefits those doing the praying by giving them the false sense that they're doing something when in actuality they're doing absolutely nothing. Deeds...not prayers. DEEDS.
I wondered what the purpose of prayer is. If everything happens according to god's will (I wish I had a dime for every time I heard "It's part of god's plan"), then as far as I can tell, prayer is useless. People pray to keep their loved ones safe. But one get's into a car accident. Then they pray again for god save them. But the person dies. So what's the purpose in praying to change or alter events if it's all god's will? In essence, they're asking god to change his mind. Senseless.

As children of the truth we are supposed to embrace, love, extend mercy to, and accept others. Not others' sins, but the person himself/herself. I also highly recommend not telling someone they are satan's child and that they should die. We have no sense of highness over them; the only reason we are children of God is because of GOD'S mercy. It was not by our righteousness that we are saved, it is by His grace and in that we are clothed with righteousness. Please srsly think before you comment.

His grace, mercy, and love is the most powerful thing ever, and no matter what we do, God will always love us immensly. :) the only reason this doesn't make sense to us is because His ways are not our ways. @MrEmbracedarkness God doesn't require us to love Him. He loves us so much that He gave us freedom to choose what to believe. He doesn't want us to go to Hell, He wants us to spend eternity with Him. If you sent your only son to be persecuted and killed on a cross for someone, and you go through a bunch of pain, wouldn't you want that person to be grateful and love you for it? He gave us choices, and if we want to follow Him, we have to take up the cross everyday and thank God for His mercy

Hi, I understand what you are saying, it is sad that people in your life have misrepresented who God is and what His will is. Remember, that only in Christianity does God bleed, in fact, Jesus died on a cross of roman crucifixion, God identifies with our pain and suffering, I hate it when people make God responsible for the death of a baby, His word is very clear, that His will is that none should perish.

Therefore the acceptance that defines an honest person would be based on what each individual considers comfortable or uncomfortable. Then the definition of "an honest" person isn't complete there.

If I'm convinced of the veracity of a historic event because I've read the evidence. I can choose not to believe and refused it.That would make me dishonest.You still haven't answered the question of what's an honest person. If someone has been convinced and believes it to be true, then how can we accuse him of being dishonest?

Though you're right that Mathew and Luke both say he was descended through Joseph to David... they just don't agree on how, Anyway I thought he was descended from God born to a virgin. Perhaps they were just trying to stretch the story to match Jewish prophecy? You can't love and fear see 1 John 4:18...
