Just a heads up for people that have problems crashing or slow generation due to some mods.
1) Change game resolution to lower setting
2) DEACTIVATE ENB and Reshade
3) Use BethINI Lowest Settings
4) DEACTIVATE SSE Display Fixes mod
4) DEACTIVATE TrueHUD mod, it seems to mess up the whole process puting it into an infinite crash loop.
Good thanks
So i disable all this in the mod manager to make this process right?
@itachi1998x _ These settings only need to be used during the grass generation process. You should be able to reapply your previous settings once the grass cache has been generated. The reason you should apply these lowered settings is because during generation of grass cache it requires a huge amount of system resources and allowing ENB to be enabled and a high resolution will only hinder the process.
Basically, you're trying to allocate as much of your system performance to the grass cache generation while the script runs.
THANK YOUU
This comment should be pinned! BUT don't disable SSE Display Fixes.
this was so straight forward and easy. this totally beats having to read the documentation. thanks so much for this. subscribed.

tutorial how to install season of skyrim sir
season of Skyrim might have a high compatibility issue with other mods . hence modders with high mod list cant install this mod , this mod only works if you install every other mod correctly as per the compatibility , if i have time i make sure to see it and so many modders are soo greedy to have so many mods I cant blame them because I my self are same ,
When I precache grass, the game doesn't go to the loading screen, it just stays on the main menu. Am I supposed to select continue or new game or something? You didn't say to do that in the video so I'm assuming something isn't working correctly.

Brother, please make a tutorial cloak and its physics . by the way thank you.
Hey bro, I'm having trouble figuring out where the py file goes from the Grass Generation MO2 plugin because I use Vortex. Do you know where that file would need to go for Vortex?
actually vortex has different installation
2. Create a new empty text file in Skyrim root folder (same place where SkyrimSE.exe is), the file name to create is PrecacheGrass.txt
3. Start game normally, when you reach main menu it will start to pre-generate all grass. If the game crashes then start it again to resume.
4. At the end you will have all the grass in /Data/Grass folder. These files may take up to several GB!
5. Any time you change anything with your load order (such as landscape edits, grass edits, object placements, even grass config changes) you will need to remake the cache by creating another PrecacheGrass.txt file in the main folder. If you change only OverwriteGrassDistance and OverwriteGrassFadeRange then you don't have to remake cache as they only affect drawing distance.

Hmm I have a problem with loading screen. Nothing happens when i start the game. I'll try disable all mods without core, disable ENB and bethINI set to low and still nothing. Any ideas?
My precacher doesn't run in-game after clicking on the yes button. I've followed every single step and it just doesn't initialize.
My process generates grass.. but then eventually on one of the generations my Skyrim just goes black and the GrassCache.txt disappears. Then I close out of it after like 30 mins, start it up, go in game, and I have no cached grass. So sad -_-
Just disalble.all the mods and keep the core mod required for grass cache like .netscript and grass mods etc. and try again
My game acts like the grass is precaching, but I don't get any popup saying it is. But when I close it (Skyrim), it'll reboot as if it is precaching. My game also hasn't crashed at all in the 3 hours I've let it sit... What do I do?
Try disable all the mods and use grass mod ,pre cache, and support mods for precache
How about vortex?
Too bad, it's not working with my AE. The .NET Framework is not made for AE versions. :(
Are this also works with Vortex?
no
Tried this on my build. Everything worked fine until after almost 6 hours when the last world was processing at 95%, suddenly I heard an error sound and the screen went black with that blue windows circle spinning, and the game stopped responding. I waited for another 15 minutes or so, but nothing happened, so I shut everything down. When I restarted the process, it started from 0 again. After 6 hours. Sorry, but that's really not worth it. I'll stick to my grass-less game LOD. Thank you very much.
Can you fix this bro?. I have same problem.. 🥵🥵
@@KhangPham-fi9hg Apparently the sound and the black screen are normal when the program finishes. Just shut down the game and follow the next steps in the tutorial.

The last time I tried this, everything worked, but the game would stutter terribly when grass loaded. I want to try this again, so hopefully that won't still be an issue. It was so bad, I just couldn't justify the amazing visuals for choppy gameplay. This is very helpful tutorial, thank you!
Thanks
Hi Georgia, late reply but after I modded up skyrim I had horrible stutters as well, I found that ultimately what slowed me down was RAM, as I only had 8 gb, I upgraded to 16 and it was instantly better. RAM doesn't necessarily help with FPS but it does help when your game is loading in tons of objects like with open world games
Should work now, NGIO was updated to work without Net Script Framework. I got it to mostly work, just trying to refine it so I get better quality and performance.
Thank you for another great video tutorial! My Skyrim is looking really good now!

no need , if you happen to change grass then rerun

It is normal that the grass mod created is considered invalid by MO2 ? Should I rerun the DynDOLOD after using grass cache to generate grass LOD?
normal
I wanted to ask you something since you have experience with the lod, I'm in the final acts of my world, I'm generating the Lod and you can see almost everything except the water 1024 activators that I used outside for rivers, how I generate the water1024 lod ? I generated the base water lod with terrain lod in Oscape and it's perfect, but water1024 are objects as far as I know
is it normal after I crate mod from "overwrite" there's an X mark indicator on the flags column says "no valid game data"? what did I do wrong?

Pre caching means storing the pre generated grass so the vram can access quickly, or maybe try changing the value beyond in pre cache ini

Also some patch like "parallax mesh fix" cause problem and a intil today i never finish to precash, even fixing worldspace issue and other thing. The ending of process crash even with the message of completion. my grass folder is empty and with an heavely modded game this will be too hard to release this task without broken the game i made so long to have.
