I lived in sidari for 4 months in 2018 working as a Thomas cook rep, honestly feels like home from home, the Greeks are welcoming and they treat you so well. Sammy bar is the best bar on the strip for me!
Ah I enjoyed watching that - I did two summers working in Sidari a long time ago (1999-2000) so this brought back some memories. It's changed a bit but some of my old hangouts are still there!

My family have lived there since ‘06 so I’ve been over most years since for a holiday……your Vlog is perfect for capturing exactly what Sidari is all about. Our 9 year old walked in as your vlog was on our telly saying “that’s our Corfu, that’s our Corfu” 😂……we can’t wait to be there in August!

Sidari rentals is the best place to go for rentals. Me and my family been going there for the last 6-7 years

Looks like you have the city mostly to yourself during the day. Very peaceful! Charlie found a good haircut spot; now you need to stay there a while! Ed Sheeran cover band sounds fun! Nothing wrong with home comfort food; we were really excited to have an American style cheeseburger the other day. You have to do a karaoke night when they open. Free food is always good!
It’s been nice to travel during these times to be honest, it seems weird to be around loads of people 🤣

My favourite place in corfu, Sidari is everything she says,a great place to holiday but only a short walk and you are in traditional Greek countryside.

Love this place!Stayed there back in 1977,I was19,Slept in a field up from the beach,just beside a tavern,Drank ouzzo at the tavern at night,in the morning I would go across the road for a bottle of goat's milk.The tavern provided a place out back to wash your clothes and take a shower.Went back in 1986,so many changes,now all condo's.

I been when it was old currency even alot cheaper then the euro come out, I did return 2 other times then we went skiathos when euros seemed more expensive, but corfu is loverly we hired car without air con so hired aprilla for 3 weeks and went around hole island from sidsri down kavos and corfu town at nite is loverly nice shops
Yes sidari is Brilliant but when I went to Creek I enjoyed it more would recommend it

We have booked in Limini for the first days but then we don't have anything planned. Do you have some tips on where to go to the remaining days (we like cocktailbars, watersport, maybe a fun place to celebrate the actual birthday at)? Thank you, your channel is great!

Was the restaurants and pubs allowing people to eat, drink&sit inside as normal? Or was there still a lot of restrictions on that? You mentioned you went to bars, are they open normal without restriction to get in? Thank you :)
We should have been there last May, then changed to last October, then changed to this May, then changed to this October! I hope that things stay as they currently are to give the confidence to properly open Corfu up. I feel so sorry for the lovely people and their businesses.

@@SkyeSamuels Bad news update! I’ve recently had a heart attack, so can’t travel in October😭. Now rebooked for October 2022 😎. Hopefully though, my recovery will be swift and We will get there in May 2022 too!

Sidari rentals were doing the right thing really, im coming in a few weeks and we always hire from there. Nowhere should hire you a moped or motorbike without some form of bike license so the other probably just want or need the custom more. Quads can be hired on car license but not bikes

Hi, I don’t know who runs then but I’ve seen them being used a lot! It’s never windy, sometimes there’s a breeze 😀
Hi, is Sidari good for exploring the island? Does one need a car? What is the public transportation like?
Yes! We only took a bus from Sidari to Corfu town which was okay and came at the times on the timetable. We rented a bike to get around and it was fine 😀

With reference to your scooter comments, you do need the scooter code on your licence. If you did indeed take a scooter from another place they were only interested in your cash. Sidari rentals only followed the law and your advice to your Viewers is dangerous as you were driving an uninsured vehicle.

I lived there for 20 years it looks dead to me. You couldn't move in the 90s it was that busy

Sidari Rentals do the job right, very professional. Not a Mickey Mouse company, I always use these won’t entertain anyone else. It does help if you have the correct paperwork before you hire a car / bike illegally and cause an accident ??
When to sidari 3 weeks ago and didn't like it. Was boring down the strip. Been to alot better places.
Sidari? Definitely not worth it. Kavos for old people.
