I remember his songs playing on an old AM clock radio my dad had on every morning before we went to school. It's one of my fondest memories that I cherish. He died when I was 15. The memories I won't forget. He gave me my love for real classic country music.

John Conley does have a lot of good songs. He is also a good man in person. And a Christian. My husband did some work for him and said he was just another guy to him. When he got to Johns house, John was up under his tour bus working on it. Lol The old time country music artist were like that. They were always aware of where they came from. My husband also did some work for Dottie West. She insisted that he eat dinner with them. He politely declined, telling her how much he appreciated the offer, but had to get on to the next job. We grew up just outside of Nashville and we both went to school with several of the artist children. My husband went to school with Johnny Cashs children as well as June Carters. Also Roy Orbison children went to the same school he did. Just the local public school that they were zoned to go too. And the children of the country music artist, were absolutely no different than the rest of the children of every day working parents.
