To the sound techs, thank you for letting us hear the questions! Its been frustrating for YEARS to not know what the question is and missing that context for the answer, its really nice to get the full conversation,
I don't care what anyone says. This man is one of the best coaches in the league. (Not based on results or tenure he's rookie HC after all) But in approach, teaching, focus and just plain doing things the right way. He is going to be a awesome head coach for many many years to come. (Hopefully with the Hawks for most if not all of that) Mike McDonald you are on another level. Go Hawks.
Thank. God. Thank God he's addressing the issues and not just saying that practice is going good or something. The fact that we have issues & he's saying that..... Oh man, thank you, coach Mike! So refreshing 🙏🙏🙏
"That ones one me", "that's on us as coaches", "And that's on us" - I love how Mike talks as a coach. Accountability I haven't heard in Seattle for a decade.
Coach Mike keeping it real. We are very fortunate to be 3-0 right now. Not saying the team didn't earn it but from this point on the schedule is brutal. But this team has faith in itself. I know that players say that all the time but now it seems more real. I'm all in.
Schedule is definitely tough, but I have faith that if we could get some of our injured guys back, then we will look really good. Excited for the Lions game as that will be our first game where the other team doesn’t have an excuse😂
Sometimes one of the hardest things to do is not playing “down” to inferior competition. Feel like this team can rise to the top. Wait till we see the game where it all comes together.
He basically said "Yeah we're 3-0 right now, but we're also lacking in some areas, we still have a ways to go." Dude is aiming far higher, such a good coach.
If I could get a Mike Mac jersey I would! 💯 The man has taken over a broken Lamborghini and got it running again with a few more things to fix!!! Unreal we got this guy!!!!! 🦅💚💙 Go hawks!!!!
God I love having this guy as our coach. His little snips where he shows intellectual humour mixed with such deep insight into the football IQ questions. I absolutely LOVE this stuff. Thanks coach!
As much as I love and always will love coach Pete, I'm happy with the fact that coach Mike Mac doesn't make excuses, holds himself, his coaches and his players accountable and doesn't settle for less than perfect. We are witnessing something special right here.
I like how Mac trusts guys to rotate personnel on D. That never happened with PC. Surprised how good Knight is for a 5th rd rookie. Impressive. Just improve the OL if that's possible and this Hawk team can get to the NFCCG. Interesting to watch next MNF in Detroit for the 3rd straight year. Can we make it 3 straight?
I'm an old man and never play football. I watch a lot! He teaches me more about football with pressers than I ever knew. Pro's...young guns...the message they are getting must be amazing.
All you need to do is watch the first 90 seconds of this interview to know that this guy gets it! We never heard anything like this from the previous regime. Instills confidence that whatever happens next Monday -- you know that he's going to get all he can out of this team, whatever that may be. And that's enough for me, win or lose.
I got a question that is Seahawks media caliber that I would like asked next press conference: “Mike you scored more points than the dolphins yesterday, how important is scoring more points than the opponent for winning football games?”
This dude is the fuckin man. He holds everyone accountable including himself. John knows how to hire, draft and build. Starting with the hire of this Coach.
We are so lucky to have Coach Mike ❤🫶🏻💪🏻💙💚 we’re going to the SB folks. Book it 🎊 But can the media start asking better questions?! Jesus H. Brutal. We need our own Grant Cohn 😂😂

He talked about it at the beginning. What else could he say? Theyre working on it. Doesn’t get solved overnight. Ask the same question 50 different ways?
Glad someone FINALLY asked about the interior guard position. I'd ask, is it time to bench Bradford? Even Tomlinson is weak. Surprised Forsythe played decently considering he's 3rd string. It's nice to get 3 W's now because we're going to need them at season's end to make the playoffs. Guess that's stating the obvious. Go Hawks
I think we should forbid questions that start with "how do you feel about X" and also "What did you see in player X". They held minimal value and get the most boring, generic answers. You get paid and have years of experience as a journalist. Is it that hard to generate 5 adequate questions per week?

If this team falls short, it won't be for lack of effort. Anyone who hasn't bought in by now? They are non factors. 🤘😎🏈
With all the national media never talking about the Seahawks, you would think Seattle doesn't even have a team. If it wasn't for Sherman and a few UA-cam channels, you wouldn't hear anything about them.
Great responses and answers Mike McDonald from too many irritating questions from media that are overkill! Man, that’s got to be frustrating 😂 Go Hawks and not dumb questions!
Totally understand and empathize with coach's frustrations during these press conferences. So many dimwitted questions from these reporters lol. Let the man get back to work!
I couldn't agree more. The question asked at 08:09 had already been answered twice and once yesterday. I understand reporters have to find angles and ask questions to obtain info and quotes but it's really become somewhat frustrating to hear some of what's asked. Not everyone is doing that (I think Brian N asks some good questions) but yeah, it's kinda painful at times.
