Matrix power top kits (18 elastic rating as in Bens video) are ok upto 15/16 lb fish with 18 to even 20 slik elastics. If your going to catch 20 to 30's however there is no better margin pole IMO than the middy extreme M2/M3 with 20 plus elastics. You see I cant see how the Matrix Margin pole justifies itself seeing as though it just uses the normal 18 elastic power kits that we use with all MTX poles.
Hi great video, bit of help if you can, im looking at getting a margim pole to use as a allrounder , jm looking at the 11 meter mtxv2 or the preston superium margkn 10 meter, what would you recommend? Thank you
Can't understand why Matrix bothered to bring out a stronger V2 version of this margin pole. I have a V1 and it's incredibly strong. Stronger than you will ever need. However, I am nervous of using my MTX3 after I've had a few breakages of late. The MTX3 gets weaker after you have used it a few times, and it's costly to replace the sections. My number 4 section is now an MTX2 number 4. I only use a short number 3 section, and I only use the the match top kits for silvers now. They are too brittle for F1's and small Carp.

Agreed the matrix m2 I have reviewed along with the m1had fish to 21lb on them no problem

mtx is good as is the preston, look at the maver as well. All comes down to what feels right for you there all good poles
matrix mtx margin or the middy mk2 m3 margin whats your choice Angling 4 U? you can only pick one

Yeah heard more of similar comments. I suppose they made it inline with the new range, but yes the MTX v1 margin is a beast.
