I have an open and closed comb Flexi. Very aggressive but very efficient. A little more than I need. I have an DS Cosmetics XO which is similar to the older 41. I'd rather shave with it. The open comb Parker Variant I have is excellent. Smooth yet efficient. I have several old Gillette open combs. Old model and the newer 30's. They are all smooth. Not super efficient but smooth. Just a few examples I thought I'd throw out.

Nice shave Inspector! That's a nice looking razor, and at a good price. I like the design on the tucks of Rex blades. Not sure if I'll be buying any, I have a bunch of blades I'd like to get through before I get any more. Good to know they're to your liking! That's awesome your old tin of PAA is still in good condition, just shows how good their bases are 😎👍
