Love how GT makes you start in such a low car class and then work your way up. I miss grindy racing games so much as Forza just seems to hand you the quickest cars within the first day of playing.

Not really the games were far better going back, 1000+ cars, and better more interesting cars, which made the Career Mode Fun, and because of all the interesting normal car options all the down, making all races and slow cars Fun. Those games had epic Replayability

C'mon man. Since their first title ever, the License part is what separated arcade from simulation. That was the fun, when the licenses get harder, replaying and replaying and replaying, just to get all golds. Gotta appreciate something they kept the same for 25 years.
The game told you at the last track, the recommended PP was 400, even the second car you selected was WAY above that at 446. To get more of a challenge you should have selected 350-400.
Watching this just opened my horizons back up about gran turismo, I really wanna get into a “sport” game & I love racing games so this is the best option for me
How do they still manage to make these games look like a PS3 game. And as usual, it looks like the car is stationary on a pivot while the road moves underneath it.

@@chronot1342 i had the G29 too, and the difference is night and day. the force feedback realism of every little pebble and kerbs makes it so immersive. you catch slides a lot easier because of the hyper accurate details you feel. i would imagine with VR it would almost feel like you're driving the real thing, especially in games like Assetto Corsa. i loved my G29 and had a lot of fun with it. DD's however are on another level. it's also silent compared to the gears on the G29! these are just my personal opinions
I actually had a 97" 3000GT VR4, I truly miss that car. It's an experience in its self, but the maintenance is hard due to the rarity of the car these days.
I been grinding out this game for about a month now. I also bought a G29 wheel/pedals/shifter combo to play with and it is awesome. They do start you off easy and let you work your way up which is nice racing with the wheel (something I am new to). But it is so easy to just lose yourself playing this and before you know it...multiple hours go by. Best Sim racing "game" out there for sure.
Not to burst your bubble but Need for Speed is older than GT. N4S came out in 1994 and there last one was in 2019 making them due for another one. Three years is by no means meaning they are out of the game.
My questions for this games career/single player mode is is there any actual progression. Are there any competitions (real or created for the game) that you can compete in and get high positions in races to progress/gain promotion to a new/better one, or is it just about completing races and unlocking new cars. When I played GT Sport, I didn't feel like I could sit there for a few hours completing races and challenges just to earn better cars or getting to a new track. GT 7 based off of what I've seen so far, those are the vibes I'm getting, just better looking and better gameplay.

Perhaps the only real disappointment is the lack of newer cars in many of the brands , like if you compare to froza motorsport , horizon 5 it could have been better.

I have been so confused on how to play it and never was able to figure it out until I watched your video. Over a year later I turned it on and was hoping to find a video that would guide me on how to play, I’ve been playing along with you with this video and got further in a few hours than all year lol. Don't mistaken Forza Horizon for "Motorsport" as Motorsport has always started you off with the crappy cars in career mode.

Gran Turismo is the best. I started in 97 with the first one. Be patient Tmrtn. It gets much much better and exciting. Hope you do a full series.

id suggest you get a Direct Drive wheel base. its the closest feeling to the real thing and it makes sim racing so damn addicting
