Yo I just figured out why Hanako’s so attached to Yashiro. It’s not because he’s a pervert, he’s not a pervert at all. It’s because Yashiro made him feel something after being numbed for so long. Think about it, all the horrifying things that happened to him when he was alive, all the people that didn’t care and all the people who pretended to. He didn’t have anyone who really cared about him. Even his old school teacher pretended to care about him, and even admitted to it. So if you think about it, he’s not being preventive, he’s being clingy, and over protective of someone he should be. So when Kou gets close to Yashiro, that’s why he hugs her, or gets sad. That’s why he’s so attached!

With him blushing. Let's date forward to the Festival Arc, Yashiro also went back to atleast 50 years ago and met Amane, Hanako's younger past self. Yashiro was begging for the red tag right? He declined that offer, Instead, They ate dinner together. As for Amane, He stated that her ankles were really swollen. When Yashiro cleaned his cheeks, And made Amane flustered and blush, He decided to give his red tag for a reason: "And actually.. You're kind of my type. So that's why I wanted to give it to you!" When Yashiro was about to leave, He looked sad about it. Before leaving, Yashiro gave him a kiss on the forehead. So, Looking from these two arcs. It really is possible that Hanako likes her. As for one, When Amane met Yashiro from the festival, She told him that she was his type. Later on meeting Amane in middle school, Looking at the comic again, He blushed when he saw her legs. So, I was thinking that the legs were only his remembrance of Yashiro when he was young. Not sure tho, Just my theory uwu
btw to add one last thing yashiro gave all of her tags to amane for him to make a wish (she probably thought he would wish to go to the moon or smt ) but what she didint know is after she left amane wrote a wish that said " i want to see yashiro again " welp
