We are aware this is like a soap opera and Jamal & Soghara are actors as is the villain of the piece - Jamal’s sister-in-law who is out to hurt poor Soghra and end her pregnancy. But really! A doctor wearing sun glasses in a totally fake office!!! Your story as a middle class couple in present day Iran is perfectly adequate and very interesting - you don’t need to gild the lily by added ridiculous drama. Your numbers dropped when you did the ‘Witchie’ mother/Soghra living in tent nonsense storyline - did you not learn any lessons. For the western audience this is living anthropology - no need for anything else.

If you HAD done so, you would have seen the following, ‘… but it should not be said that this is their real life’ … those words are in the Introduction to a lot of the Nomad Channels. Be it SARDASHT, DRIA, TIR etc etc it is made VERY clear by the producers that these videos ARE fiction and that this is NOT reality for any of these people. It may reflect nomadic life generally but it is directed and produced like a soap opera. These characters may well be genuine and recently-settled Iranian nomads but they are acting, having been given a storyline to follow. It is a wonderful opportunity for them to make extra income via UA-cam in the difficult economic environment in which they live. So instead of trying to guess people’s moods (you know absolutely NOTHING about me or my level of grumpiness) and as you obviously know nothing about these videos if you believe that are real it might be an idea to DO YOUR OWN research before you comment on others and then instead of being critical of others comments you may be able to make some positive contributions. I stated, as is requested in the same Introduction, my opinion on the drama which the producers feel is necessary to add occasionally to these videos when in fact the reality of their daily lives is what viewers want to see. We can see ‘drama’ anywhere, on any tv channel around the world, but to get a peek into the everyday world of these nomads is a much desired privilege. That is my opinion and I am entitled to state it without expecting it to be belittled by someone who has no knowledge of what they are writing about.
