- In this video I spoke with Samir Okasha, Professor of Philosophy of Science at University of Bristol. He has interests in the 'levels of selection' question in evolutionary biology, and the related issue of individual versus group conflicts of interest. Here, we discuss these interests and the broader role that philosophy of biology plays.

As a logician, this is very thought provoking. ありがとう😀
Great episode.
Helpful 👍🏻
I understand you're the only person actually doing this sort of thing. Much better this than some niche half-sleep stragglers attending a talk at a university.
Interesting video !! Also could you please give us an update on your NMN supplementation if you are still taking it and what you have experienced so far.
Another great video. MLS and evolutionary direction are very important topics that are unfairly dismissed. Every cell has the exact same genome in multicellular organisms, so the existence of multicellular organisms does not actually conflict with gene selection as Okasha suggests.
after so many years telling you to show your face, now I have to tell you to cover your face, its very distracting (in a good way)
I hope you are already rich. well done
Sister of Takeshi Kovacs, driving anywhere. Yes, I guess she missed all that... She won't care. Turning geroscience back to philosophy, instead of attracting philosophy in geroscience. Sister of philosophy of gerontology. No, no, the lobe of understanding is the drying occipital lobe. Pretty ugly drawing.
