@voulakampouraki Many thanks for your comments. I have to agree with you, the writing has been on the wall for some time and the people who were doing the scribbling were the politicians and their very bad decision making, even in the concept stage of the Union.
@Wolfy101st Thanks for your comment. As I understand it for the UK to rejoin the EU it would need to take on the Euro as a currency. Also the UK doesn't have any money, the debt to GDP is already 100%. We did a podcast about this a couple of weeks ago here: ua-cam.com/video/buhybA912jw/v-deo.html Rachel Reeves is about to fudge the numbers to borrow even more for her pet project HS2.
@elliotlambert3817 Many thanks for your comment. The increase in revenue needed by the government is to prop up a bloated government. The government is employing far too many people in jobs that don't really mean anything, so for example the vast majority of middle managers in the NHS are not needed. How do we know? Well before these middle managers were flown in the NHS trundled along quite nicely thank you very much. If we look further afield we can see how bloated governments can get. Let's look at President Milei of Argentina. He dissolved HALF of the government posts and reduced public expenditure by just under 50% the very next day. Donald Trump says if elected Elon Musk will be hired to weed out all the wastage of the US government. That's what is needed, somebody who can't be bought and who knows how to trim without losing quality of a product. The UK government needs to do something like that, but of course, they won't.
EU is finished long time ago,,,,,,

I've got my safety net. It's called GOLD.
You and me alike. And silver.
He wants to be the next leader
@peteraston4753 Thanks for your comment. Only Keir Starmer could want to be leader of a club he does not belong to. Go figure.

It's only the poor getting poorer the income tax is being used to prop up the share market casino and assuring these punters a profit.
