I’m not a fan either. He does however have a point about the OBR. We will see their report on Wednesday. If it turns out to be biased then it (TheOBR) will have to deal with the consequences of that course in the future.
The way a conservative thinks and speaks is heaven and earth compared to a Labour one. Another class, not just in economic knowledge but in emotional intelligence too. I guess it's about having a working moral compass and a proper education.
Indeed, under the Tories, that was the case. They basically just put asylum-seekers in to storage at our expense, and they were not allowed to work. Labour have begun processing them, and some have been sent back to their country of origin, and other asylum claimants have been successful, meaning that they can now get jobs and start contributing/paying tax etc.

The amount spent on debt interest went from approx. £30bn a year to over £100bn because of borrowing during the pandemic to fund furlough this is leading to the requirement to cut £70bn a year from other areas. People do not understand that we are paying the price for furlough now.

The amount spent on debt interest went from approx. £30bn a year to over £100bn because of borrowing during the pandemic to fund furlough this is leading to the requirement to cut £70bn a year from other areas. People do not understand that we are paying the price for furlough now.
When he says he's worried about the NHS, what he means is that he's worried that he and his Tory-donor mates might not be able to profit from it as much going forward.
