He's the type of coach you want to play for, he a real one
And bc he played in the nfl !! Big ass tight end for the Lions ! He's a players coach
@@_hermannlakehunt_7278 don’t be jealous…
Hulk Hogan sounding ass
He's annoying and tries too hard
@@AdamB34 leads by example.
Matt Patricia would've had a heart attack after the third down-up. I love Dan Campbell.
Lmaooo
I think it’s funny you think he would get to three lol
He probably would've sharted after the first one...
😂
"Coach Patricia, do you like pushups?"
"Love 'em. That orange sherbert is great on a hot day. But I hate when the plastic stick breaks."
I’ll always be a Packers Fan for life, but I give my respect to Dan Campbell, the Detroit Lions, and their faithful fans. You guys have something big coming up, and hopefully this rebuild pays off
Cool... FTP
dont gas them up like that. they dont have anything coming up lmao
@@Beamin439 you’re blind if you don’t see what they’re building
@@tj-23 they're building a 2-15 season
Coming from Jags Fan you guys are the same we feeling. Excited to start a great season, can't wait to play you in December.
Dan Campbell is the one coach that really deserves time to rebuild. Not the typical modern NFL HC deal where if it's two years of losing you get fired
Didn't need the time
SUPA BOWL BABY@@apt7prod
I guess they didn't need that much time...
@lottji good on you believing early.
gotta respect his mentality. Lions are gonna bite some kneecaps this year
Knee caps it is ;)
Detroit Chihuahuas
@@danylo7768 😂😂 you savage for that we'll see how they do my guy
kneecaps...its kneecaps lmao
@@danylo7768 💀💀💀
I'm a packers fan but u gotta love a coach like this man he's gonna change that team around with a mentality like that
Ummmm no. None of the best coaches act like this silly bastard
Packers fan also, pulling for the lions though. They have a pretty friendly schedule, I’d love to see them as a wildcard team
@@trevor3575 I bet yall never thought MN would be leading the division. I swore it was gonna be my Lions or the Pack. 😅
Dan campbell when he uses this training to, in a fit of passion, tackles a kick returner in an NFL game. Tomlin type energy
That’s a real coach, putting the work in with his players 👌🏾
Bill Belichick and Andy Reid haven't done a sit up since the 90s. Good coaches don't have to seek attention to get attention
@Spell-Check for Dumb People 🤦🤣 the Eagles and their 599-627-27 franchise record and their 23-24 playoff franchise record that went 6-9-1 and 3-13 in the previous 2 years before Reid took over was a successful franchise?
The Chiefs who had 1 winning season in the previous 6 years before Reid took over was a successful franchise?
Damn... according to your logic I'm not sure if any franchise is unsuccessful.
@Spell-Check for Dumb People 🤦🤣 the Lions weren't winless when Campbell took over and your point was that Andy Reid only takes over good teams/franchises so no, I didn't prove your point. I actually thoroughly disproved it.
@Spell-Check for Dumb People 🤦🤣 Andy Reid took over a 3 win Eagles team and won 5 games in his first year. Campbell took over a 5 win Lions team and won 3 games his first year.
Dan Campbell also took over an 8-8 Dolphins team and went 5-7 with them. The following year Adam Gase took that same team to 10 wins.
I'm not sure you know what your point is if you think anything I've said proves your point lol.
@Spell-Check for Dumb People 🤦🤣 that wasn't your point. You're just changing your point now that you've been proven wrong. And again, 3 wins is worse than 5 so no, the Chiefs weren't better when Reid took over. Maybe learn to count to 5 and you'll understand this better
Gotta respect Dan! He fr a players coach!
3 wins
hm?@@AdamB34
Such an incredible and inspirational coach. Detroit got themselves one 💯
8-20-1 as a head coach. Truly incredible
@@AdamB34still feel that way? Change takes time
@@trentonmeeuwsen739 they're only good because of Ben Johnson. Campbell is a joke
@@AdamB34 You think Ben Johnson turned down a head coach position this season because he wanted to work for a joke?
This is the advantage that player-turned-coaches like Mike Vrabel (former LB) and Dan Campbell (former TE) can bring to the table that other coaches cannot: a more hands-on approach to coaching. They may have retired, but years of grind does not simply go away in an instant barring a life-changing event.
Bill Belichick, Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan, Mike Tomlin, Matt Lafleur, Andy Reid, John Harbaugh, Pete Carroll, Mike Mccarthy, Bruce Arians and Zac Taylor never played in the nfl.... Sean Payton and Sean MCDermott made the nfl but never actually played.
Which one of our lists is better? Mine or yours?
@@AdamB34 The main reason your list is better is because there haven't been a ton of NFL players who became head coaches... If you select names from a bigger pool, obviously you're going to have more hits
@@Phil-S8 let's see, my list has 13 current head coaches on it (technically only 11 current because Arians moved to the front office and Payton retired) and 11 of them have been to the super bowl with 9 of them winning at least one. The o.p's list has 2 coaches on it, only one has had a winning record and neither has been to a super bowl... again, which list is better?
This isn't a difficult concept. Go look at the last 2 decades of successful head coaches in the nfl, almost none were nfl players and the few that did play in the nfl were scrubs who barely saw the field and only played for a short time. This idea that Campbell and Vrabel have an advantage because they played in the nfl is supported by absolutely nothing at all. It's an utterly ignorant opinion.
@@AdamB34 Wow, you're a smart one. You completely overlooked the point I made, which relies purely on statistics/data. If 95% of head coaches have never played in the NFL, then there is a way higher likelihood of getting successful hits out of this pool. If it was closer to a 50/50 split, then your data might actually mean something. See, it's fun to use your 🧠
@@Phil-S8 have you figured out why you're stupid yet or is basic math still too difficult for you?
When the coach works as hard as you
That’s respect right there.
Best season of Hard Knocks ever made. This team, this culture, we got to see them fresh off 3-13-1 season and into a 1-6 start.
This documentary series shows you why they were able to rise above it all.
Great to hear Matt Dery's commentary in the background as well!
If this man turns this around a lot coaches who didn’t play the game are going to be in trouble
Huh? That makes zero sense.
Dude is built like bricks
I love this. I love being a Detroit Lions fan. I've been a lions fan my entire life, starting when Billy Simms was the RB. From everything I've seen, Dan Campbell is the best coach Detroit has ever had. The lions are a championship team. They're winners! The Roar has been restored!
The 3 win winners!
“I love being a Lions fan” That’s how I know you’re not really as Lions fan 😉
Wow. What a sight for sore eyes. With all of us NFL fans seeing this, I wish all the best to the Lions, hoping they can really make the playoffs. We can now see the change in them gradually.
This is only impressive to 60 year olds who still think the nfl is in the 70s
I do not think their goal is to just make the playoffs.Their goal is to be dominate force for years ala Detroit Red wings .Would be any pro teams goal .
@@adamserafini6945 like that hasn't been the goal the last 60+ years 😂
@@AdamB34 Not really, Sell tickets and hope with players like Sanders and Johnson .Nothing else around them talent except maybe they pick up a few players that were good at the end of their careers that get hurt and set on the injured reserve.Stafford sold a lot of hope ,but he lost more games with his mistakes then he won. The fans buy what Ford is selling hope.Reason why Sanders and Johnson both quit!
I would run through a wall for a coach like him, and i'm not even a lions fan
Lol... every video of this guy... same cliche
I’m a ravens fan, but god damn I’d love to see the lions win a super bowl, you can’t hate them, they’re always underdogs, they have possibly the most loved coaching staff ever, and it’s because of that man, he’s a national treasure
Lions over the Ravens in a couple weeks yeah? I’ll take that.
@@expeditiousgrim I’d be pissed for like the day of, and the next day. But I would find some happiness, I’d rather lose to the lions than the niners or the chiefs this week
You gotta love Dan Campbell.
So much respect for this man. The way he associates himself with his players he truly cares and has alot of heart and its speaking volumes with the results he's getting out of them. That's how you build a culture thank you dan campbell I've taken a play out of your coaching playbook towards my team of workers who work for me and with me and it's changed the culture and work ethic of all my teammates. Keep up the great job you are truly what this team needed the whole time. We as fans truly appreciate you.
He is 100% the real deal.
Dan Campbell is showing the men. He won’t ask them to do anything he won’t do. It’s called Leadership. One Pride.
That's right he's earning the respect and trust of the players 👏 by working out with them props to the man
Well he was a tight end in the nfl for the lions already so he's actually paid his dues alrdy ! This is just icing on the cake my friend lol
@@trentejames9773 he was terrible
Campbell is hardcore💪🏾
Dan is still in pretty good shape to warm up with his guys!
That's the kind of coach I'd love to play for
I love the way Dan the man Campbell put him self on the same level as all the rest of his players but still holds a great Couching mind set with respect from all of his players
Hell yeah son. That’s someone you run through fire for
How can you not love this guy.
The boys club needs more guys like him. Actually getting involved, wears his heart on his sleeve, and a certain uniqueness that the NFL is lacking imo
The coach might not be able to see who's working hard, but the players certainly can.
6 win team, which is still 2x more than last year
Hahahahah nope
They should tank for Bryce. Pair him back up with Jameson Williams
12 wins next year and 24 wins in 2024.
@@victormaniaci2104 it's impossible to get 24 wins in a season even if they go undefeated in the pre-season, regular season and the playoffs
@@AdamB34nah the Lions built different 💪 48 wins in 2025 book it
Danimal !
This guy earns respect on every level.
I respect that. Never seen a coach do that before
Because it's pointless

That's our coach! 💪
That shows outstanding leadership now those guys will run into a burning building for that man... I understand his passion for the game and being a winner. Detroit yall have a great coach there. I'm a bills fan and that just ran a chill up my spine for this years Thanksgiving game
Any COACH like this TRULY BRINGS OUT THE BEST OUT OF AAAANNNNYYYY BODY!
He doesn’t need to watch the others and make sure they are putting in effort. He leads from the front, knowing they will want to put in effort when they see him. That’s the difference that Dan understands.
Much love and respect
Respect to a legends
I would definitely rather play for Campbell instead of Patricia
Coach of the Year
For doing up downs?
Respect
My absolute new favorite face of The NFL. Matt Patricia tried this one time and it took a crane to get him upright again.
Legendary
Not just that he did them but he did FORTY. Those guys thought they were done at 20 too lol
This the type of coach u definitely wanna play for
No thank you
@@AdamB34 you’re definitely at least 40 years old.
He's clearly one of the guys!!! 💪💪...#LionsNation
Real leaders lead by example, they dont stand on the sideline and watch. The Lions have needed a coach like this for a long time. Biting kneecaps
Hope y’all have a good season from a bears fan✌🏼
Love Dan
Powerful
Pointless
Gotta love the guy that will be if your going through it I'll go through it.
Dan Campbell is doing up downs with his team in Detroit, meanwhile in Boston Matt Patricia is eating a box of donuts.
Your point? New England was 10-7 and in the playoffs last year. What was Dan Campbell doing during the playoffs? More up downs?
That's awesome- ravens fan
I’ve never been a lions fan ever but im a dan Campbell fan 4sure would give it all I got for a coach like this Detroit yal got one here
That’s dope
A leader from the front!
Dan Campbell is a fuggin MAN.
Thrilling analysis
Effort will show by itself. weather a game or practice if they are not giving it %100 when he is not looking, it will show.
That's my coach!!
awesome....Go Lions
As a cowboys fan. Im trying to see mike mccarthy do this.
Mike Mccarthy went 12-5 with the #1 offense and #7 defense last year. Dan Campbell is 8-20-1 as a HC
@Spell-Check for Dumb People 🤦🤣 Dan Campbell took a good Miami team and went 5-7. The following season Adam Gase went 10-6 with the same Miami team. And fyi idiot, I wasn't the one who brought up Mike Mccarthy.
@@AdamB34 all that just to lose to the 9ERS in the WC game, y’all are going to be so ass this year. Bucs are going to run through y’all next Sunday, y’all lost all your weapons.
@@xduckilla91x who is yall? I'm not a Cowboys fan and fyi, the 9ers were 4 points away from being in the super bowl last year for the 2nd time in 3 years. Not sure why you're pretending losing to them is some insult.
🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭bruh 😭😭
I have hopes for this team
I’m a packer fan sure but I respect lions HC alot
I'd like to see Bill Belichick do these Up Downs with the Pats...exactly! GO LIONS!

Used to do lots of those & them the
Reindeer 🦌 Too, yeah their building something over There.
GO LIONS 🦁
Those kids will storm the gates of hell for this coach.. Theres something happening in Motown. Bear Down.
Who cares? This isn't HS homie
Usually a HC is just walking around watching the players. But when those players see the HC doing it with them? You don't slack off if your coach is putting in the same effort as you.
Props to him for even attempting this, better yet completing it. Unfortunately for his wife, she gets to hear him complain how sore and tired he is the next 3 days🤣
I'd like to see Vrabel and Campbell in a fight hehehe
Or Robert Saleh
As long as he is the coach I am a fan of this team
I'm a [insert team name] fan but this dude is scary and easy to root for.
Can’t let coach outwork you in practice 😂 lions got something brewing… D swift breakout year
Nobody was even looking at him
@@AdamB34 leave your computer screen and live in real life everyone there seen him dummy
If the Cowboys front office had any kind of brains. We would have picked Dan as head coach along time ago. He’s already familiar with our system as an old player would have made perfect sense.
wow just wow
I would play for him anyday that's the definition of leading by example salute to Dan Campbell not to many coaches do that at all

How many coaches are doing this? Wild the man can still play
