If their sec status is -5 or lower, they'll have the outlaw flag, meaning you can freely shoot them with green safety. They're marked with a red skull icon. So you can shoot ones that aren't blinky. The blinky red just means they're GCC flagged, which can also be freely shot.

At 185km away, you have a warp in. Needed an overview filtered to the blinking. (not that this bear would even know how). I always wondered what would happen if you started with a passive targeter so that you can "sneak" up them, getting in a salvo before they know you are shooting? Still, good for you heading into the lion's den.
Nice video... Would love to see more content like this... Since burn Jita is over why don't you try counter ganking in Uedama, shouldn't be hard to find targets there.
@@arwo1143 You might have mistook "bomb" and "smartbomb". "Bombs" are launched by stealth bombers (techII frigates). "Smart bombs" are AOE weapons for all ships to destroy drones , pods or fragile interceptors.
Problem with smart bombs, at least the ones I have used in the past, is they have a 5km range and if you accidentally hit a "friendly" or empire property, those station guns will make short work of your ship.
Jita is sometimes raided by the Goonswarm Federation in particular where they start to fly out in low cost, high dps ships and taking out high value targets (before being destroyed by CONCORD). So they go back to Jita for more cheap ships to fly and this guy sits there waiting for someone with a criminal timer to show up to shoot them since CONCORD allows that.
hey! I need some advice.. see, I do plan of eventually doing some pirate hunting too (or escort unarmed ships.. basically be in a more defensive role with minimal to no support, and where I will definitely need some tackle on my mid slots) and I have been eyeing the navy domi, as a plateform that can use blasters while still having damage projection thanks to drones (as battleships as pure gunboats seem very open to bad surprises.. a sad thing as I like guns that do work on my ships)... but I find little to no info on such a gun/drone hybrid, or even on fits for the Navy Dominix at all. Any advice you could give me? And if what i have in mind is such a bad idea, do you have any other battleship suggestions? I am only planning for the far future at this point, so pretty much any ship can go reasonably well in my "to do" list
If I have any advice, it's to echo this: Don't fly what you can't afford to lose (or replace). If you don't have several of the same ship already fit in your hangar, it's probably too expensive to fly. Don't get caught up in some ultra-badass dream fit. It doesn't matter how awesome it is when a blob of reds is disintegrating your ship down to the last scrap in under 30 seconds. There is no ship in EVE that can win all, most, or even a significant fraction of the PVP fights you might find yourself in. No ship in the game is a "great" solo PVP all-around hero. Don't get me wrong, every properly fit ship in the game will shine in very specific scenarios, but that takes luck, or planning, or both. Know your ship, it's limits, and capabilities. Fit it to augment it's natural strengths and bonuses. Know your enemy's ship, it's limits, and capabilities. I have found zkillboard a great resource for interesting, unorthodox, and fail fits. Pick the engagements you estimate you have a good chance of winning, based on the above factors. This will ultimately come down to experience, and, let's face it, FAILURE. You will die. A LOT. Make sure you die a lot in cheap ships before getting all crazy with faction ships and gear. If you still want to build that Navy Domi, build and fit 10. Is that too expensive? How else are you going to learn to fly it properly, shooting rats? Start small. Build and fit 50-60 frigates. Go out and pick fights, and die. Move up to cruisers and BC. Build 30 or so. Go out and pick fights, and die. Build 20 normal Dominix, all with the same fit. You got it, go pick fights, and die. You will lose most of them, but the experience will be more valuable than any faction mod you will ever fit, and you will get a feel for managing your ship and modules in the heat of real battle before risking your high-value faction battleships. I hope it goes without saying to PVP in a clean clone, unless you are using disposable combat implants.

I don't plan on sitting in it until I have relevant skills pretty much maxed, and enough isk to afford it several times over; and I have other, cheaper planned ships that will come before it as far as crash-testing goes; my main worry here is if I end up investing valuable skill training time and Isk (rich or not, this will cost) into something that may end up being a bad idea that i will have no choice but to discard entirely. And honestly, i'm not sure flying frigates will be that much of a relatable experience. Frigates rely on speed for survival, while speed is just positioning at best for a battleship; you aren't going to mitigate damage by moving unless an anti-cap fit dreadnought shows up.I find cruisers/battlecruisers to be more relatable in how one flies them; and before moving to the Domi or gallente ships as a whole, I'll mainly fly hurricanes... and when it comes to losing ships, I already do (dirt cheap ones), as one has to fly to make Isk unless you wanna play the market (which i don't) Hence why I ask if a blaster-based Navy Domi is a good idea, as I see very little in the way of people talking about it (be it in bad or good) or using it, even moreso in a PvP setting, and if it turns out to not be a goal worth pursuing, I would rather aim for something else as far as skill planning goes; because this ship might very well be THE end-game goal for me (I have considered even more blingy things like a HAW dread or Marauder for that role, but ended up discarding them sue to how mind-boggingly expensive they are, something that would without doubt attract capital ships that you then can't escape due to the immobile nature of both ships), and once I'm here, I'll just fool around with things more meant to be silly ideas than something I know I can rely on.

I didn't fly Gallente, but if there aren't a lot of popular Blaster/Drone/Shield Navy Domi fits floating around out there, it probably for a good reason. There is likely a ship that does it better, or there is an inherent gimping of the ship that occurs from fitting it that way. You will need to fit both MagStabs and Drone Damage Amps, and either one will weaken the other. Since you will want tackle and Shields, you will have to choose your modules carefully; even with all those mid slots, they fill up damn fast. This poor fellow had a similar idea as yours, but he spread out in too many directions, so his fit isn't as strong as it might have been. Plus, he had the misfortune of getting blobbed. Now add that as you said, my intended role is NOT a common sight either.... I am not surprised that information on the ship is scarce. Besides, i was seeing it more in an armor fit in all honesty, both to make room for taclke, a MJD and a cap booster, but also to take advantage of that meaty buffer that comes by default in it. Sure I get only 2 magstabs, 2 damage amps or 1 of each, but I would be packing 143k effective health according to the simulator, meaning i would probably be able to stick a good while in a fight, with a web and grappler to catch things in blaster range. All the Navy dominixes that i see in Zkillboard have very light defenses, and were clearly more intended as ratting ships than for pvp purposes (Rat ships tend to max out DPS and think about tank later, as killing faster means more income)... and that with average blinging (no T2 trimarks). Good on paper as far as I am concerned (even including a flight of medium ECM drones as a "get out of jail" card), but I have no point of reference as to how it would actually perform... and i don't really see a smaller ship that could have a similar playstyle at a smaller size and cost. As far as I wee it, would lack DPS to properly murder another battleship, but most people don't fly that these days: it's all about the T3 cruisers/destroyers or smaller, the Machariel being pretty much the only battleship I saw operating in a small gang.. and a Mach isn't the ship that will prevent you from escaping when he is busy kiting.
get something that provides Arty Damage and get straight ahead of the docking bay so that everyone is directly aproaching you, keeps transveral down and you hit harder. Also make an OV Tab just for flashy targets if that is what you are after
Drop an MTU just off the gate your covering > all salvage is good I do it every year got 1.5 billion 2 years back with an MTU on both sides of the gate, got lucky and got freighter salvage several times

Time Dilation - Basically the game speed gets slowed down more and more the more information goes between the server and all clients. Sacrificing game speed for improved stability, especially in big engagements.
This was underwhelming. You know, officially Burn JIta is the Imperuim-only event. However, it is coordinated on unsecure mumble server. It's not advertised, but practically anyone can join. And we don't kick neutrals and hostiles, unless they actively try to sabotage fleets from within. Consider joining next time.
the antiganking is pretty much pointless, not a single gank i was part of failed and all the concord fanboys only ended up loosing thier own isk. you cant help"products of highsec". burn jita is advertised so far ahead of time that anyone that got killed deserved it. killed the same dude in a cheron 3 times and back to back...

Some people are not aware of the event. Some people just play the game and have no indsights out of their realm of playing.
You can warp to the gate if you are > 150km away from the gate. This means you can warp to 30 km off warpable points such as gates and bookmarks.
This is a bit like watching your dad dance at a wedding

If you use a Machariel you can 1 shot tornadoes and a lot of cruisers, well until they start recognizing you and start docking up....
During warp set a few "safe" bookmarks so you can warp to random locations that they have to use combat probes to find you.
