希望麦克老师和大家都能看一下这篇评论。我看了以下很多评论,发现“I am Chinese”和“I am a Chinese”这两个用法上存在极大的争议。 首先,我们知道“an American”, "a Canadian" and "a Mexican”都是可以的,因为“can”结尾有明确表示这是个名词。而“an English”, "a French“不可以,你只能说“an English man”或者“a French woman”,为什么呢? 为什么不能说“He's a gay”?正是因为这是一种非常粗鲁的表达方式。在英语里面,如果你形容一个人加a,就会有一种粗鲁的感觉。比如,he's black,听起来没问题,但是如果变成he's a black就有点种族歧视的味道在里面了。同样,he's gay会听起来较为温和一点。再同样,He's a Chinese,在Chinese还没完全登上世界舞台时,感觉并没有什么问题。但是,在美国,曾经用He's a Chinese来表示对华人的歧视。(为什么我会下意识地认为a Chinese这个说法是可行的?因为我听好多人在我背后说过,a Chinese,因此我就下意识认为没问题了) 不过,这里又出现问题了。a这个用法除了歧视性语言外,还有其他用法啊,比如表示自豪。IM AN American!!(我是个美国人!!)而我们中国人该表示自豪的时候怎么办?难道说I am a Chinese man(or woman)!!这感觉都没有气势好吗?因此,就算现代口语习惯已经不使用I am a Chinese。这个语法依然存在很大的漏洞。
其实我看了这个视频之后好长一段时间都以为麦克说得对。因此我和我的华人小伙伴都说:以后不要说I'm a Chinese。可是有个小伙伴找我辩,说其实可以说I'm a Chinese。后来他找来个local,那个local也说I am a Chinese 没问题,只要不说I am an English就行。。我已经彻底晕了。。
People can’t translate “ta” to “he” or “she” so fast when speaking. Differentiate gender when speaking takes a second layer of processing. It’s quite common for foreigners whose mother language aren’t English. I’ve met friends from Turkey and India who does the same thing when translating to “he” or “she” from their own language. I guess the sound of he and she in their mother language may also sound like the same word.
The most common problem is the answer of "yes" or "no" when asking Chinese people "Don't you...?" "Don't you have a mobile phone?" If he/she does not have, he/she is going to say "Yes. I don't have one." Same. If you ask "So you haven't had your lunch", and if he/she haven't had the lunch, he/she is going to say "Yes. I haven't had my lunch." Coz in Chinese, the answer of "Yes/No" doesn't mean the fact is positive or negative. It means the asker's hypothesis is correct or incorrect. Before you ask me "Don't you..." or "So you don't...", you already assume I don't do or I haven't done anything.
The mistake I make most frequently is the one when I answer the question starting with NOT. When others ask me "You don't smoke, right?", I would probably answer"Yeah, I don't."
从Merriam Webster 查到的: Chinese 首先是名词,然后才是形容词。"I AM A CHINESE" 绝对是正确的说法。 Full Definition 1 a : a native or inhabitant of China b : a person of Chinese descent 2 : a group of related languages usedby the people of China that are oftenmutually unintelligible in their spokenform but share a single system of writing and that constitute a branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family; especially : mandarin

Mike,In chinese, "没有为什么“ and "没有理由” are two expressions with completely different meanings. "没有为什么“ means " don't ask why, just do or accept what you were told". It gives you an impression that the speaker feels more superior to the listener in that situation. "没有理由” is relatively more neutral.

Hi, Mike. I'd like suggest one. Lots of people use "marry with s.o." The correct way should be "marry to". I hope you can cover this in your next video.
"Marry to" is also incorrect. You can say "I'm married to her," so it must be past tense. "I hope to marry her" is also correct, but you don't need "to" in this sentence. You can't say "I want to marry to her" or "They are marry to each other." You are correct in saying "marry with" is wrong.
maikelaoshi I think "I'm married" is a passive voice? so it shd be in perfect tense instead of past tense...? n in another comment u said native speakers nv spoke "a Chinese" "a gay" but most of the Americans I met would say it...
Arthur yang 嗯嗯,你说到点上了,Mike明显中文很不错,怎么会觉得这点不理解呢,这个完全就是来自于中文母语的用法习惯,从小讲中文时因为发音相同所以从来没有仔细的考虑描述的人的性别,换到英语了还需要特别想一下,这个技能对于习惯于区分男女的语言者来说很容易的。比如我很多欧洲的朋友都不存在这个问题。
I'm coming没错的,你说的那个是I'm cumming,虽然有些porn也会戏谑的用I'm coming来含蓄的表达(不要问我为什么懂。。)此外,I’m coming和on my way最大的区别是,一个是表示发生前(快给我过来。好的,I'm coming)。另一个是正在发生的(我正在路上呢I'm on my way)。
Mike is not a gay , she is handsome guy , there have many big rain that day when I close my phone ,I want to meet her next next next week, and very like her. NO thanks~!
this is my first time to see your video, but I just have a question: I see there are some thesauri that treat Chinese as Chinese person. According to these learning resources, 'Chinese' can mean the 'Chinese language' and also 'Chinese person', I just want to know whether you are confident to your explanation, can you make sure that 'Chinese' can't be separated from 'person'? thanks!
It can be a person, just not in the 'singular' form. The 'Chinese people' is correct. Many things in English are this way. Maybe there isn't a rule, but NOBODY says 'a Chinese' in the western world. Any nationality that ends with -ese, like Japanese, Vietnamese, we also NEVER say 'a'. Hope that helps. So yes, I am very confident about my native language and growing up in America and having NEVER heard 'a Chinese' until I came to China.
You can definitely say 'a chinese'. At least here in UK, no need to add person, it won't be wrong either way. Chinese is a noun as well. Look up a dictionary.
You can say "I am Chinese" or " I am a Chinese person". Like he said, Chinese is a race or language when saying you are Chinese it's plural, so you cannot use "a" in front of it.
puikam cheong Chinese is not a language is a race. The people in China are mostly speaking in MANDARIN( most common) or Cantonese. 中文不是一种语言。 中国人说 普通话 广东话 上海话 还有其他的很多local 的语言。 我不是什么地方攻击的人 但是在外国都是这样说的 不是 speaking in Chinese,
Actually this English error is really common among Chinese people. Good example.👍🏻 When someone asks "You don't want it?" Many Chinese people will answer "Yeah, I don't want it." Their logic behind is "Your assumption was correct. Just as you said, I don't want it. So yes, I agree with your hypothesis."
英语说错很正常 因为有些英文单词 脑海里没有 语法思维习惯不一样,说得很好 倒不正常了,,有很多老外中文都没有很多华人英文说的好呢 很喜欢 不一定是i really like...也可以是 i like it very much...但是i very like 可定是错的 虽然i m a Chinese是错的 但是i m Chinese是可以用的 因为Chinese既是形容词 又代表一个群体,i m Chinese或i m a Chinese person
而且别问为什么要这样,语言学非常重要的一点就是‘约定俗成’。语法只是规定了大多数情况,但是也有例外原则。大多数人都这么说这么讲就会推动语言的发展与改变。你非要说i am Chinese觉得好,但是美国人就觉得式错误的,你非要拿语法或者条条框框来约束,可美国人就是觉得不地道。当然,如果你在国内说这个真没问题,从小咱们就是这么学的,这么考试的。
I'm a Chinese from Malaysia. Of course, Chinese form China speaks chinglish and Malaysians ( including all races in Malaysia) speak Manglish. If you have ever been in Malaysia, you will find out that Malaysians like to add on a word "la" after a sentence. You may feel awkward towards the sentence spoken by us. Haha. The "la" word added behind a sentence is usually used to emphasize the meaning. For an example, " I don't want la." It means I really don't want it. Sometimes, Malaysians will double the words up. Such as the word "can". "Can you please help me to do these assignments?" "Can can" . It means that the person is willing to help you. Your video is so amazing. I Really enjoyed it.
Opps,I'm afraid there are two mistakes in your video .The first one is that Chinese is a noun and a adj . So I can say I am a Chinese and this sentence is right. The second one is gay is also a noun so I can say he is a gay. These two words are nouns and adjectives at the same time. You can check it on the internet.~from a Chinese who is teaching English.
Actually it is the way the words sound. All nationalities ending with "-an" can be used with a or an at the front. Example - an american, a mexican, a german, an italian, a malaysian, a singaporean, a brazilian, a argentinian, a puerto rican, a korean, a russian, an indian, a norwegian. These are fine. Anything else should be used without. eg. he is english, dutch, scottish, welsh, french, spanish, thai, nepalese, swedish. To confirm my point, "He's a scotsman, he is scottish."
Even though I'm Chinese but I'm pretty sure his Chinese is better than a lot of people from different where in China. Seriously he is really intelligent because he could speak Chinese fluently. Actually if a person his/her first language isn't Chinese that's so hard to learn a new language. Let's compare grammar between Chinese and English. Both language are absolutely different. Like if you agree my Opinion and you would like to watch more video about him👈Thx😘
By the way,I think you'd like to agree me that nowdays modern mardrin after 1940s has been much more approching English, espeacially in the Grammar logic and words building method.
kingfung wong like you said they are different. So what make it easier if chinese is your first language compare to English is your first language? I mean you have to learn new stuff in either way. I also have friends who are currently learning Chinese and they found it to be easier than Spanish and French.
Michael Wu Actually it is the way the words sound. All nationalities ending with "-an" can be used with a or an at the front. Come to America, England, Australia. You will NEVER hear anyone say "a Chinese" or "a gay". Why? Because it is incorrect English. Chinese as a group of people is a noun. Chinese as a language is a noun. One Chinese is a Chinese person, so you can't use it as a noun.

老师说的太好了!谢谢你老师
哈哈,泰國華人的我也來學英語。Your English teaching video is very fun. Especially, when you say "awkward", I feel like yeah that's very awkward. hahahaha 加油喔 支持你
我在加拿大呆了三年了说话还是分不清She and he. 感觉是硬伤啊。我的潜意识里根本就没有She and he啊。中文里他她它都是一样的发音。改不过来。好郁闷。
为何分不清呢?女性多了个S,你就认为这是女人的水蛇腰嘛
这个分不清不是记不得,也不是不理解,就是纯粹的出错,虽然心里很明白,但是有时候一不留神就舌头抽筋说错了。这种 mistake 不是因为 confused,而是纯 accident。
哈哈 我也在加拿大,你说的确实如此,我也经常出现这个问题 :)
Xiaojing Shi 哈哈哈哈 我待的时间比你久 也老范这个问题
丢脸呀你 我待了一年就没这毛病了 你这丢脸的
很实用,之前自己很少遇到过这么地道的教学方式,我要把Mile老师的所有视频都看完哈哈哈哈
希望麦克老师和大家都能看一下这篇评论。我看了以下很多评论,发现“I am Chinese”和“I am a Chinese”这两个用法上存在极大的争议。
首先,我们知道“an American”, "a Canadian" and "a Mexican”都是可以的,因为“can”结尾有明确表示这是个名词。而“an English”, "a French“不可以,你只能说“an English man”或者“a French woman”,为什么呢?
为什么不能说“He's a gay”?正是因为这是一种非常粗鲁的表达方式。在英语里面,如果你形容一个人加a,就会有一种粗鲁的感觉。比如,he's black,听起来没问题,但是如果变成he's a black就有点种族歧视的味道在里面了。同样,he's gay会听起来较为温和一点。再同样,He's a Chinese,在Chinese还没完全登上世界舞台时,感觉并没有什么问题。但是,在美国,曾经用He's a Chinese来表示对华人的歧视。(为什么我会下意识地认为a Chinese这个说法是可行的?因为我听好多人在我背后说过,a Chinese,因此我就下意识认为没问题了)
不过,这里又出现问题了。a这个用法除了歧视性语言外,还有其他用法啊,比如表示自豪。IM AN American!!(我是个美国人!!)而我们中国人该表示自豪的时候怎么办?难道说I am a Chinese man(or woman)!!这感觉都没有气势好吗?因此,就算现代口语习惯已经不使用I am a Chinese。这个语法依然存在很大的漏洞。
哈哈 hes gay 比较温和一点。 温和这个词用的好,我喜欢
in dictionaries, Chinese is a noun and adj. as well.
麦克说的对的,理由选得不很好。不过理由选你的理由的话可以单做一个一小时视频了
语言没有这么多逻辑 这么多为什么 至少我从来都没听到过 I'm a Chinese这样的说法
其实我看了这个视频之后好长一段时间都以为麦克说得对。因此我和我的华人小伙伴都说:以后不要说I'm a Chinese。可是有个小伙伴找我辩,说其实可以说I'm a Chinese。后来他找来个local,那个local也说I am a Chinese 没问题,只要不说I am an English就行。。我已经彻底晕了。。

中文里的他就行英文里的你和我一样,是没有性别区分的。中文的"她"是新文化运动时,学者刘半农等人为了学习西方而新造的字,他们本来还想弄成不同读音的字,比如"伊",没有推广成功。
这个尹是鲁迅提出来的吧,是鲁迅家乡绍兴话,因为地方色彩太重,所以没人用

从Merriam Webster 查到的:
Chinese 首先是名词,然后才是形容词。"I AM A CHINESE" 绝对是正确的说法。
Full Definition
1 a : a native or inhabitant of China
b : a person of Chinese descent
2 : a group of related languages usedby the people of China that are oftenmutually unintelligible in their spokenform but share a single system of writing and that constitute a branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family; especially : mandarin
就是啊,我就经常说 I am a Chinese. 为什么周围美国佬不改正我?!
Super China 他的解释是错误的,Chinese同时是名词也是形容词,但是的确是只说I’m Chinese.我觉得是惯用吧,我在写作里写过I’m a Chinese,还被老师挑出来给改过,gay也是同理吧。
I am Chinese. 这里Chinese是用作形容词表主语的属性。这和中文的逻辑是不同的,中文可以说我是一个中国人,或说我是中国人。
我也经常说。。。我觉得即便是错误的用法如果用得多了就该改字典了
首先 I am a Chinese. 肯定是错的。但很多老外,包括我的大学英语老师都知道是错的,又讲不出理由来,老外不是太注重语法的,而且他们也明白你的意思,所以,就不改正你了,你绝对找不到一个说英语的人会说You are a Chinese.的。
麦老師講得太快了。
you're welcome = 不用谢
这个犯错的人应该不是很多吧?我上学的时候每天背的课文都是官方统一流程:
how are you? i'm fine, thank you, and you? i'm fine, too, thank you. You are welcome
真正会让人犯错的是打开/关闭电子电器产品。比如想问旅馆前台为什么房间里电视打不开时说 why i can 't open the TV? 前台服务员一脸懵逼,may i ask why do you need to open the TV?
qiuruoxiao實際上,外國人很少用i'm fine . 多數用 good /i'm good .
很少用you're welcome. 多數用 no worries / no problem
Windy Fung 大陆的教科书都是这样写的,不知道现在有没有改。
Windy Fung 很多学生会用 you're welcome..
「外国人」是哪国人?不说那些不讲英语的国家,光英语为官方的国家就不下十个。不用「I'm fine」的是北美,因为受到了德语「Ich bin gut / I am good」的影响。在英国,正式场合仍旧会用「I'm fine」。
我周围讲中文的人一般也没人说“不客气”,大多数都是“没事儿”。。 语言这东西,没过分的语法错误,怎么说都可以,只要能让对方能听懂就行
Mike,In chinese, "没有为什么“ and "没有理由” are two expressions with completely different meanings. "没有为什么“ means " don't ask why, just do or accept what you were told". It gives you an impression that the speaker feels more superior to the listener in that situation. "没有理由” is relatively more neutral.

Really. Those are the common mistakes for beginners. The way u present is really entertaining . Like it!
Really funny and amazing!!

Hi, Mike. I'd like suggest one. Lots of people use "marry with s.o." The correct way should be "marry to". I hope you can cover this in your next video.
Wi zi marry sb or be married to sb?
direct, marry sb.

He 和she 我是知道去别的,但是每次一说就会紧张说错😭😭😭😭
because in Chinese, he and she are in a same pronunciation. its quite common on this problem among Chinese or Korean people.

me too
其实真正的中文里是没有 他她它 的, 完全是五四时代参照外语生造出来的,但在我们的读音里(真正的语言里)是不区分性别的,我们的脑子和逻辑里也是不区分的。
其实我建议取消他她它牠祂,多此一举,还中文本来面目。 同样的情况还有 的得地, 完全没必要,画蛇添足。
Your teaching is very funny and useful.
这10个里有至少8.5个是小学教过的。那些人能说错证明没认真学过英语。
求教,為甚麼我看外國人用“how to say”卻沒有問題? 例如搜索影片 How to say You’re Beautiful in Spanish,也看過一些文章 How to say no to others等等。
Chinese 居然不是名词?
麦克提到的情况,我常遭遇到的是:How to say ...? He is a gay.

david wang 为什么我的字典上可以作为名词和形容词
Jeff Qin noun
david wang 我的有道词典也有名词呀,不只是形容词呀。老师说错了吧?
Jianping Wang 念名词的时候 有些词就显得贬义。 像gay 之类的 就很不礼貌了
Chinese 當中國人解釋的時候通常是集合名詞,所以不會說 a Chinese 。

可能你的朋友都很客气吧。因为I'm coming说明他们还没出门。。on my way是想让你知道他们快到了
这个貌似可以,植物大战僵尸里的僵尸来临时好像就是说“I'm coming"。
在英国,每次驾校教练打电话给我说他到我家楼下了,我回“I am coming”后,电话里都会有几秒尴尬的沉默。。。我后来就只回“ see u soon"了,哈哈哈。我猜可能跟我的口音也有关系吧
Lin Peng
这两个发音是挺像的...(好尴尬
Awesome!.Thank you shared video with us.It's very useful to me.
Mike is not a gay , she is handsome guy , there have many big rain that day when I close my phone ,I want to meet her next next next week, and very like her. NO thanks~!
非常感谢!关于那个how to say和how do you say的问题,今天才知道原来是不对的😂😂我雅思半裸考8.0在英国呆三年,还是会出错… 现在学法语,感觉能说出完整的句子表达自己就不错了,也不在意到底有没有小错误了哈哈哈哈…学语言就是要不怕出错多说才有进步!
this is my first time to see your video, but I just have a question: I see there are some thesauri that treat Chinese as Chinese person.
Like he said, Chinese is a race or language when saying you are Chinese it's plural, so you cannot use "a" in front of it.
minjun yang Well, that is probably not grammatically correct. Chinese is plural so I don't think you can add "a" in front.
puikam cheong Chinese is not a language is a race. The people in China are mostly speaking in MANDARIN( most common) or Cantonese. 中文不是一种语言。 中国人说 普通话 广东话 上海话 还有其他的很多local 的语言。 我不是什么地方攻击的人 但是在外国都是这样说的 不是 speaking in Chinese,
我从来没有犯过这些低级错误,因为我的初中英文学得好,基础扎实
长姿势
長知識才對啦
@@pammy830202 其实你不懂,我们的“姿势”已经用了很久了~哈哈
太好了 希望经常看到Mike老师的视频 谢谢Mike老师
学到了。。how do you say
以前经常说错 how to say
另外一个经常见的错误是
Do u speak Chinese?
而不是 “Can u speak Chinese?”
这里用Can是很冒犯人家的词了,相当于蔑视地问人家:你脑子够用来说中文吗?
Saivin Cheung Chinese 不是一種語言 所以不能speak chinese
好像漏了一个 language。
Shu Wu chinese是語言,好嗎?
nick46285 the spoken language is Mandarin. The written is chinese. "I can write in chinese, and i can speak mandarin."
Agree! NO.1 我经常犯的错误!其实心里知道she and he的分别,就是说的时候会出差错,等到说出来就晚了,不知道这是为什么。
我无数次被美国本地同学硬生生的说成了he。。本地人!!
本身she 和he有统一的趋势。。在东南亚人们也是直接混用。。用he代表所有的ta。。除了英美加澳,其他国家大部分可以混用
这节目好棒!谢谢!
哈哈那个 nonononono 好搞笑
我觉得还有一个是 I like it. 很多人说 I like. 还有中国人发音很不注意一个单词最后的辅音的发音,在整句话很容易忽略中间一些单词词尾的辅音。
"You don't want this?"
"Yes, I don't want want this!"
应该是No 吧?
Actually this English error is really common among Chinese people. Good example.👍🏻 When someone asks "You don't want it?" Many Chinese people will answer "Yeah, I don't want it." Their logic behind is "Your assumption was correct. Just as you said, I don't want it. So yes, I agree with your hypothesis."
no1是中國人最難改的壞習慣
哈哈哈是,在国外很多年,就是这个,很容易说错。
Yeung Lok Tin 因为中文的他她它都是同音
不难啊,不懂
学日语这种黏着语更痛苦,一个动词七八种变形,而中文只是通过加副词
所以我從小到大從來沒有搞錯he or she😂🤔🤔🤔
你有在外國生活過嗎? 不在外國長大但成長後才在外國生活的人很容易說太快時腦筋轉不過來的
老师,你的华语很棒 👍👍👍
英语说错很正常 因为有些英文单词 脑海里没有 语法思维习惯不一样,说得很好 倒不正常了,,有很多老外中文都没有很多华人英文说的好呢 很喜欢 不一定是i really like...也可以是 i like it very much...但是i very like 可定是错的 虽然i m a Chinese是错的 但是i m Chinese是可以用的 因为Chinese既是形容词 又代表一个群体,i m Chinese或i m a Chinese person
They don't have polite.他们没有礼貌 。我们学校的嘿嘿
应该是THEY ARE NOT POLITE吧,POLITE是adj来的。
guodong liu You could just switch polite to courtesy
guodong liu It's politeness
ZIJIAN YAO courteous people are all polite but not all polite people are courteous .
guodong liu they are rude
潘秋晓 you cannot say "you are a Chinese" because Chinese is plural so you cannot have an "a" in the sentence. However you can say "I am Chinese"
I live in America. You're right "GAY" is both adj and noun. But in America, you seldom hear people say " He is a gay", we only say " He is gay"
I totally agree with you. Even though people may not use it like that too often, but in grammar speaking, that's absolutely correct.
'He is gay' or ' he is a gay guy'
Are you a kindy English teacher?
很有意思,谢谢。你很幽默哦
👍👍👍
Mike老师,我现在在学荷兰文的时候,也还是会犯第一个错误。对于中国人,这个真的很难。为了避免错误,我每次说Ta之前,都要花两秒钟想是 he/hij 还是 she /zij
chinese和gay都有名词的意思呀,你彻底把我搞懵了,英语是你母语吗
many people argue about this. I know Chinese is a noun as well. What a sudden??
Mike把不可数名词当成形容词理解,所以他的语言并没有错,只是语法理论和其他语法教材不一样,可以认为他是从另一个角度看问题吧。
Actually it is the way the words sound. All nationalities ending with "-an" can be used with a or an at the front.
Example - an american, a mexican, a german, an italian, a malaysian, a singaporean, a brazilian, a argentinian, a puerto rican, a korean, a russian, an indian, a norwegian. These are fine.
Anything else should be used without. eg. he is english, dutch, scottish, welsh, french, spanish, thai, nepalese, swedish.
To confirm my point, "He's a scotsman, he is scottish."
除了I'm a Chinese person.其他的都明白 一般回答谢谢,都用it's my pleasure.
She 和He真的常说错
Even though I'm Chinese but I'm pretty sure his Chinese is better than a lot of people from different where in China. Seriously he is really intelligent because he could speak Chinese fluently. Actually if a person his/her first language isn't Chinese that's so hard to learn a new language. Let's compare grammar between Chinese and English. Both language are absolutely different. Like if you agree my Opinion and you would like to watch more video about him👈Thx😘
注意语法 XD
By the way,I think you'd like to agree me that nowdays modern mardrin after 1940s has been much more approching English, espeacially in the Grammar logic and words building method.
kingfung wong like you said they are different. So what make it easier if chinese is your first language compare to English is your first language? I mean you have to learn new stuff in either way. I also have friends who are currently learning Chinese and they found it to be easier than Spanish and French.
Actually entry of learning Chinese is more difficult but be professional in English is relevant more difficult than in Chinese.
kingfung wong Overall your grammar is pretty good it's just the "Both language" should be "languages" :)
谢谢麦克老师。我最经常说错的应该就是Turn on/off这组了!
为什么 American 就可以说 an American , 而Chinese就不行? 因为这是在定单词的时候西方国家对中国、日本等国家的歧视。
Michael Wu Actually it is the way the words sound. All nationalities ending with "-an" can be used with a or an at the front.
Example - an american, a mexican, a german, an italian, a malaysian, a singaporean, a brazilian, an argentinian, a puerto rican, a korean, a russian, an indian, a norwegian. These are fine.

Come to America, England, Australia. You will NEVER hear anyone say "a Chinese" or "a gay". Why? Because it is incorrect English. Chinese as a group of people is a noun. Chinese as a language is a noun. One Chinese is a Chinese person, so you can't use it as a noun.
Xun N/A 呵 呵呵 呵呵呵 呵呵呵呵⋯⋯
Maike老师,牛津词典对Chinese的解释是,做可数名词时,意思是a person from China, or whose family was originally from China,做不可数名词的时候是中文。
Xun N/A 他想说Chinese是不可数名词。可以说I am Chinese,不可以说I am a Chinese。其实前一种说法解释成名词形容词都说得通。学语言不要死啃书本,多领会少直译为好
應該說,即使那種說法在文法上是對的,對英語使用者而言那也是不自然的英語。
讲的好,Speak very well
This Video really helps me a lot for improving my English,
Mike, great job, thanks. I often say I am Chinese and not realized this is wrong.
l Emily that is not wrong you just don't add an "a" to it
got it, thank you so much.
New fans here now ! Ur Video is beyond all of those "teaching video" ! P.s. You has nice Chinese pronunciation! Cheers !
哎呦不错哦……今天学了几个单词、Thanks
👍可以做下集解釋嗎?例如為何不能說How to say,要說How do you say。
lam lam how to say不是句子,作为状语意思是说……
