The reason why PS4 games runs better on PS5 is that some games has PS4 Pro enhancements, and all of the enhancements are also present on PS5, so your PS5 is basically a PS4 Pro with an SSD and a REAL 4K Blu-ray player (the PS4 Pro *cannot* play 4K Blu-rays despite being a 4K console, go figure… 🤷) when running PS4 games. The sole reason why I bought a PS5 is because my PS4 Pro's Blu-ray player is now faulty and I wanted a 4K Blu-ray player (yeah 4K Blu-ray players are cheaper and better, but you can't play games on 4K Blu-ray players lol), hence why I bought one in 2021. Personally I kinda like the PS5, it's a good upgrade for those who never switched from PS4 to PS4 Pro, but I can't help but think that it's not as exciting as the PS4, at least in terms of games, not to mention Sony's obsession for censoring Asian games ever since SIE is now in the US. Give me more Japanese games, please. Also what's the name of that game at 3:38? Looks fun.
Xenia is either okay or very unstable depending on the game, even the early ones like Blue Dragon can crash randomly, or it requires lots of tinkering such as Forza Motorsport 4. It's definitely not as stable as RPCS3, yet the developer is totally happy about the current state of Xenia, according to the website's about page lol.
@@netako Xenia is in such a bad state, doesn't even have a GUI. Even the games others showcase as fully playable can randomly crash on me (Naruto: Rise of a Ninja), and DLC working is a roll of the dice. I'd say I made a good investment on just nabbing a 360. Was worth the price and setting up wasn't too bad. Everything just works.
@@TwistedDanns You'd think that getting the 360 exclusives working would be done before an emulator could be considered "satisfactory", but hey. Better off just picking up an RGH 360 and calling it a day.
I will, I'll try to see if I can get a proper recording setup for my steam deck. The game runs okay with medium settings at 30, maybe 40 fps, but you will get occasional drops. Not too detrimental to my experience because turned based JRPGs are not too fps sensitive to me
@@TwistedDannsis it possible to atelierfix it to get it running better? Im sure it looks miles ahead of the switch version but id like the best possible graphics at 30 fps
I actually haven't tried the atelierfix yet on my steam deck. Game's performance improved on Linux in the past few years that I forgot about this. I will try just to see if I'm able to get extra frames.
Bigger issue is games are getting to big and take too long to make, but why have a deeper discussion when u can just say ps5 bad send tweet or send x whatever

Samurai Maiden
Just picked up an Xbox 360 (RGH) despite having a PC. Xenia is so bad for the games I wanted to try out. So I get where you're coming from in general.

@TerraFuu Naruto Broken Bond is unfortunately unplayable on Xenia with the many graphical bugs that I couldn't get through before I walked away.

I upgraded from the PS4 Pro and I have no regrets buying my PS5
Only reason id get a ps5 is if stellsr blade remains an exclusive, btw make a blue reflection on steam deck vid

@@TwistedDanns sounds great, the reason im getting a deck is mostly to play blue ref on the go at decent setiings so hopefully it helps some

The long production cycles and bloated budgets are legitimately some of my biggest issues with modern gaming
