I hope you enjoyed this informative video! Please let me know what other topics you'd like to see in a video like this!
thank you!!!!!
Thx a lot for making this type of video sir, I really wanted to know about the terms related to figurines and this was one of it.
The 🐐 has returned! Awesome and informative video bro! I really appreciated the showcase of the past figures and felt a little nostalgia back to when I first started collecting haha. Keep up the good work!
Awesome!
Thanks for researching for us bro! Glad to have you back!
Great job on the video man. I especially loved the showcase of all the passed figures.
Ty!
Great work listing down every set in the masterlise timeline! never seen before
Glad to see you back in action!!!!!!
My first Kuji i bought was Dragon Ball Super The 20th Film the figures i got was Goku SSJ Blue, Gogeta SSJ Blue and Broly Full Power King Clustar! Another information i also like to share here in Europe, it looks like the Ichibansho is over, since the Kuji of Androids was the last one that came overseas!
I hate importing figures here to the UK, wish we could get new releases again
I’ll make a video about where to buy figures in 2023
Hello man, I'm happy to see you back doing your thing. It's another great video.
Thanks!
Anyone from UK here find it hard to get these figures without paying a ton on shipping from Japan or US, if any knowledge on stores or private comment please👍🏼 as always great video Matt! Good to see you back

This is awesome and informative. I’m so glad you’re back!!!😃
This helps a ton. Sometimes I worry because I want to buy the correct thing but am not sure what to look for. Appreciate the insight!
No problem!
Can't wait to watch this later! Welcome back
Thank you!
Great Video! Very informative! I can't imagine the amount of work it took to share every single kuji set. By the way, Omnibus Vs Brave is getting an overseas release. Pre-orders are up at BBTS and prices are actually reasonable.
Ty for telling me! Do you have a link?
I just bought the last one ticket of kuji, i didnt know until i experienced it, i wish i watcher your video thoroughly before😂
I thought they have 2-3 last one prize in a box of ticket and i could get lucky anytime 😂🤣
I was kinda shocked when i bought and opened all the ticket there was no last one prize ticket. Until the end they gave me all the prize on the shelf
I just feel relieved😂🤣
Missed this guy
Dope! I really like history and seeing every Masterlise figure released!!
For real!
Informative video that is accurate for both the Dragon Ball and One Piece IPs. Hopefully Ichiban Kuji can get the other IPs to get on board with international releases soon.
Nice informative video. It’s crazy how many I am missing in these sets. I think the only set I’ve finished is the Ginyu force. It’s too many Gokus though. They should show some other characters love like Goten and definitely Vegeta lol
I think Bandai has been doing a good job in the last two years to add variety
Wow Matt this video was an absolute banger!
Very informative and I really liked that you included all the past kujis so far, I was a bit confused on what we have so far…
Many thanks GOAT🫡💪🏽
So last year I decided that I'm finally going to start collecting figures after being inspired by my tattoo artist and seeing his massive Star Wars, LOTR, Aliens, Predators, Horror Statues, props, figures and all in his shop and at his house.
He has always motivated me to start collecting. I told my wife that I'd like to collect something that means a lot to both of us since we'll be staring at these figures everyday.
She and I both grew up with Dragon Ball in the 90s and early 2000s and we simply love Dragon Ball above other franchises like Pokémon & Yu-Gi-Oh! to mention a few, what can I say, nostalgia is king.
At first I really wanted to collect Alien & Predator merchandise since I already have Alien & Predator tattoos and of course I've always loved everything dark and scary, skulls, demons, playing in a death metal band, etc...
But many of my friends and bandmates at the time were already collecting and they felt conflicted because their collections were mixed up with all sorts of different figures from different franchises. So I decided that if I had to start collecting I would restrict myself to only one thing and besides, everyone who came to visit us weren't really vibing with my dark aesthetics.
I started collecting round about April/May last year.
I fell victim to a couple of bootlegs because I didn't know any better.
Then I watched Matt's video on the different types and lines of Dragon Ball figures and I quickly caught up to others who were ahead of me.
I primarily collect Masterlise but I also collect Crane figures from time to time.
Made friends with a guy who manages a comic book store here in South Africa and I've built up such a reputation that he puts away new stock for me and allows me to pay off as much as I want at my own pace. It really helps and has kept me going in the hobby, plus I always try to support local businesses.
Glad to see that I understand and follow everything you said here... makes me feel like an old pupil of yours.
I'm a 'middle school' teacher here in South Africa and my classroom is completely covered in Dragon Ball posters.
Keeps me happy and inspires my kids at the same time.
Once again man, so happy that you've returned.
Thank you for sharing your story!
Great stuff. I’m almost done reorganizing my current collection.
I moved into a single apartment unit for myself! I have a huge back closet which is looking like a collectibles cave in the future! I’d have to put some cooling in the room though. It’s practically a room😅
Some cooling so the figures won’t warp to heat. Unless I’m mistaken but better safe than sorry.
Congrats!
wooow good to see u again dragonball bro
Very informative video. Thank you!
Well, it seems like the Ichibansho prices are going in the right direction with Omnibus BRAVE. Piccolo is $80, but everyone else is down in the $50-$55 range. I'm guessing they didn't sell as well when they were scraping $100 a pop.
Possibly!
Great video! Maxmatic also has great quality figures.
Yup! They’re just discontinued which sucks
Very nice informative video bro.❤ Do you know what happened with the grandista line for dbz? Is grandista line stopped for dbz?? Still waiting for a gotenks ssj3 grandista which i had seen in your community post years ago.😞
Looks like they stopped for now. They’re still making some for other IP
welcome back!!
Awesome video. Finally I understand this ichiban kuji things.
One question though: how do people order/preorder the ichibansho releases? I never know where to do this. Does bandai has an official site for this?
Select retailers sell them. Bbts.com and amazon.com usually have the latest Ichibansho pre orders
@@MatchesPeaches I see. I've bought figures from retailers in amazon, but never thought they are the among the only few way to buy figures. Thanks a lot!
Very informative video! Here in Europe however Ichibansho is pretty much dead now, we haven’t got one in a long time.. Only the US seems to get overseas versions now.
Dang
hi! very helpful and informative video! i just have a question. I currently want to buy an Ichiban Kuji figure but it was released in 2020 and the lottery happened late-2020-early 2021. Is the lottery still happening in japan or do you think the only way I can get this figure is through proxy websites of people that have already played the lottery and won the prizes to resell. thank you!
The lottery is likely over if it was that long ago. You’ll have to buy from the 2nd hand market!
Awesome video❤
Thank you!
Thank you for this video.
Thank you!
I really want that Super Saiyan Vegeta Memories figure. Don't know if I should pay $300 for, but I can see why it is $300 now, being from one of the first Ichiban Kuji Masterlise set, Dragon Ball Memories lol.
Yup. I have to rebuy nearly everything. Y’all just saw my shopping list / goal!
Are you planning on getting Cell Max in your collection?
Yes all of the figures shown in this vid will one day be in my collection
Yeah... I learned something today.
HE SAID THE THING
Where can I buy complete kuji sets from Japan to Germany?
eBay, Buyee, Zenmarket, and jump Ichiban. I’ll make a video explaining them and how to use them
Hi Matches, for europe version there is no Toie sticker is that right?
Sometimes
I was looking at Ichibansho Mecha Friezer and King Cold then I was told they were in Kuji too. If just rarity is the main difference then I'll be going for Ichibansho
Yeah if you don't care about the color of the sticker and design of the box: the figures are exactly the same between both.
@MatchesPeaches I don't display the boxes so that's perfect for me. I'll be saving some money 😀
Also can you tell a real Ichiban kuji figure without the box ? Is there a stamp or mark on The actual figure ? I bought a set but it was opened.
Unfortunately that is a bit trickier. You’ll have to look at the qualities of the figure and compare it to reviews or pics to determine if it’s legit. Usually if you buy a figure from a Japanese seller with good reviews on a site like eBay - it’s legit. If it’s from a Chinese seller then 99% of the time it’s a fake. If the price is too good to be true then it’s also probably a fake.
Beeg POG
Do people just buy loads of tickets and hope they get the figures? I just entered my first one here in the UK and won a poster
I think so. Resellers on eBay usually just buy the whole Kuji out and flip it online
Thanks! I guess I'll stick to importing the figures then@@MatchesPeaches
Hello! Are Dragon Ball SMSP Ichiban Kuji figures? They don't really look like crane/prize figures.
They are! But it seems that Dragon Ball hasn’t been included in SMSP for a few years and are seemingly discontinued for the IP. All Kuji nowadays are Masterlise almost exclusively when it comes to DB
@@MatchesPeaches Many thanks for the reply! Greetings from Brazil!
Do these figures appreciate over time ?
Mostly no. Ichiban Kuji and Masterlise are too new to tell. They’re also widely distributed so take that as you will. I’d say the ones that have the biggest chance of appreciating over time are Last One Prizes and Double Chance Prizes.
hey all!!!!!😁
🐉💯👈
I need some action figures in my life so badly
Get some my dude
How do I order some where do u get your's at man
@@christian94stefon I get most of mine on eBay but I have a video on my channel for best places to shop!
I will check it out thanks man
Do you know what they pay for a ticket
I think it’s like $8 per ticket
Is the kuji only in Asian countries
Yes, but Ichibansho are the international releases of the figures
@@MatchesPeaches I know about the ichibansho figures what I mean is the kuji roulette
@@jakoballfather224 yes it’s only in Japan
5:50 the same ones I saw in a chinese store - but they are all bootleg - really bad ones
Damn
Damn missed the live stream but im here now 👍
Its okay! It wasn’t a stream. Just a live premiere!
