It’s really fun that you film so many of the random moments while you cruise - boat life unscripted! In later episodes, as you become more comfortable and confident with docking, will we get to see the details of you going through the process and getting tied up?

Live in Myrtle. On my boat! I know this area well. Been here 5 yrs. Yes, very pretty here! Hopefully you'll stop at Bald Head island. That place is AWESOME!

We love living in Georgetown now but we really miss living in Southport especially around the 4th of July.
I know you don't have the time to spend. But Southport is such a beautiful Quaint Town maybe next time .

Good mechanical advice... try to eliminate the nickels and dime fixes first before dialing 911 :) Good catch with the extension chord fix.... what could help if you had a stripper on board (stripper, another word for electrician) :)

Ok so I have been gone for a while when you were caught up in life and not posting. I saw ep17 while surfing and realized you were back. Just finished binge watching 14 episodes. Couple of observations. Stop fretting about the small stuff, if it is going to happen it's going to happen out there. For the most part the bodies of water you are in are soft edges . It's the hard edges you have to worry about. That wide body catamaran back 10 episodes was actually a trimaran not a catamaran. Glad I found you again.

Are your dual captain helm seats on the flybridge original with the boat or are they an improvement you made? In either case, are they Stidd or another brand?
The helm seats were an upgrade by a previous owner. They are Stidd. We love everything about them except the lever that you use to adjust the angle of the seat -- it likes to cause very colorful bruises on our legs.LOL
@@TheBoomershines I have the same/similar Stidd single captain's chair at the pilothouse helm. My flybridge helm is a double-wide bench and back that is not as comfortable. The bench can slide forward and back, but there are no other adjustments and no lumbar at all. I've tweaked it to make it a bit better, but I want a better long-term solution.

Interestingly no LOL. We did not even know that was a song till after we started ending our videos with Shine On! But now that we know about it, we enjoy listening to it. And love that Shine On is how you met your wife. Cool story!!!

LOL Mark grew up there. He was the youngest (by far) of 5 so it is confusing at times. But LOVE the small world :)

I definitely enjoyed it! But the mama bear (and experienced mariner) in me can’t help but be aware of all the potential hazards ahead of us. It keeps us safe - but I certainly don’t want it to come off as negative 🤦♀️
