Dermot Kennedys songs stopped me from ending my life on February 2019 after losing my father due to a bad fall I live in Derry Ireland I started with walking 20 miles a day with this music on headphones then I started cycling due to covid 19 craic I then cycled every day so myself and my friend decided why not cycle for a rescue team here in Derry called foyle search and rescue we decided to do a cycle from Derry to cork we left on a Sunday morning at 6am in we cycled the cycling path on Google we done it in 32 hours 320 miles of non stop cycle I was on a mountain bike my friend was on a Racer bike we had 8 hours sleep in a tent I hope someone can be helped just the way I have by someones voice Dermot Kennedy you are super amazing best going 👏💪💪

I'm not saying this song *is* underrated. Just that, I always find on every album there's always one song that's incredible but stays a little below the radar when compared to the hits if you know what I mean. Maybe 'underrated' wasn't the perfect word to use.
Thankfully this song is getting great recognition. It's just an observation, but this song is in the top 3 lowest amount of views off this album. It's a comparison, an early observation. This song just gives me those hidden gem feels that's all I'm saying. It's also one of his oldest songs he used to play with his old band so I'm really happy to see it made the record. I'm sure every song of his will receive great support and recognition. He's building a long time legacy and it's refreshing!

4 years ago, when i first quit using heroin i was sitting on my brother in laws couch at Thanksgiving dinner and he sat down, put Dermot Kennedy on and told me he really thought I'd enjoy it. His music has got me through some good and bad times since. His whole sound is unique- and that dirty voice gives me chills!!!! I'd do anything to see him in Greenville, SC! I love you, Dermot💜💜💜💜
