Never heard of this charming little piece! It's amazing how the soloist blends her sound with the horn and other woodwind instruments.

If you liked this adaptation of Brahms you will very probably LOVE
another adaptation of Brahms, this time of his piano piece Opus 119 #1 to
a magnificently sublime few minutes for string quartet.
It appears at the end of a superb performance of Ligeti's second
string quartet. If you only want Brahms you can go to 27 minutes and
    50 seconds from the beginning.

There is also a wonderful arrangement of a Debussy piano piece somewhere in the middle.
and of remarkable music of the 1200s (Perotin) at the beginning.
