Helo, i have tried to install linux on my tinker edge i went for flash.cmd it went till end. Now my tinker board just stays still fan is not working and just one LED in on. Do you have an idea what can be wrong?
I haven't come across this. Just to clarify, you've got the Tinker Edge T model (not Tinker Edge R or Tinker Board)? Also double check the dip switches on the board are in this position: ua-cam.com/video/kqkl8KeZtUc/v-deo.html
@@edgecate yes I'm using tinker edge T switches are on correct positions. I tried few things and now I'm at the beginning, I can see to ker edge wallpaper but after using usb c connection and flash.cmd I get waiting for any device msg....
hi Edgecate . I have installed linux on my tinker edge board. I am trying to deploy my model on it , for this i am trying to install the desired libraries like OPENCV but they are not downloading in the desired folder. Can you please help me how to get a tinker board ready for deploying an AI model
Hi Faryal! From memory, you'll have to build OpenCV from source. There's heaps of steps involved in building the AI model - is there particular step you're stuck at? Happy to do a vid if it helps :)
Hi, I tried to install linux on my tinker edge T by following your tutorial. After installing the usb drivers and running the flash.cmd file the board reacted in the beginning by resetting itself once or twice but shortly after it got stuck on "waiting for any device" Now when I try to run the flash.cmd file again, I just get "waiting for any device" and black screen on the connected monitor. The fan is running and the red LED is ON when powered. My host computer is running Windows 10. Any suggestions how to resolve this? Thanks!
I've loaded Mendel GNU/Linux (eagle) onto the SD since I could not get the fastboot to work at all. So now its asking me to login and passowrd?? I can't find that info anywhere?? Anybody know what these are for the initial boot??
