Thanks for your response Shane. Forgot to mention that I also have the Garmin Force 50” on my current boat, been using it since end of June and I absolutely love it. A little tricky downloading latest software version but after a few more times I’m sure it won’t be so confusing. Would love to visit with you via phone in more details about your boat, if you ok with that how can I reach you? Nothing like getting feedback from an existing owner of a product.
What a coincidence! I had Nick at War Eagle on the phone this am pertaining to this exact boat. Thinking about going to factory to see this boat in person before buying one. I currently have a 17’ custom aluminum boat now with 54” bottom but feel I need a larger, safer boat for the big water on Toledo Bend. Also, I would like to be able to fish 2-3 people on bow of boat when vertical fishing structures. Can you PLEASE confirm if this is possible with 6’-7’ spin cast rods from the existing seat pedestals positions? Another words, will I have the option to fish on both sides of TM if necessary without stretching my arms any longer? This is only concern I have prior to not seeing boat in person. Thanks in advance……you boat review was awesome.
Oh yea i fish two up front all the time. That’s two people sitting. It handles big water great also. Thank you for watching tell War Eagle about this Video also because there isn’t a review out that goes into any detail.
@@shanejonesfishing2479 Thank You! I almost bought a G3 Gator until I saw some reviews saying the War Eagle is a great hull. Are there any comparable brands in the same league as War Eagle? Was wondering if Xpress would be as good. Any info is appreciated. I'm up in Maryland on the Chesapeake. Thanks again!
brotha i have the exact same boat! mine is a 2022. my livescope and trolling motor setup is a bit different but she loves to hold a limit of them slabs son! i love it, and you will too!!
Great video man been looking into these boats and appreciate this video. What is your battery charger setup? You got a 12v starter and two 12v in series for 24 for the trolling?
Beautiful boat! Your electronics are sick. Weird question, are those leaning post rod holders big enough to actually get a rod butt in? I'm looking at the Blackhawk 961 and the holder tubes look like about 1" inside diameter.
Thanks for the vid brother. The War Eagle 2170 is exactly what I'm lookin for. I quit fishin many moons ago when my father past and just threw myself into my career but now want to get back into fishin Bad........I love the way war eagle builds their boats and have the duc-bill with halogen lights up under the front. Don't know how much motor I need though ?? Any thoughts on this and what to start with? Thanks, Greg.
A 115 will push it I’m sure. This boat is way bigger than it looks in person it’s 8ft wide and almost 22 ft. It will run about 50 cruise 35 with three people
Thanks for the review. I'm looking at getting into chartering and this appears to be the boat to get. I think I'm going to drive up to Monticello, Arkansas for north Texas and check them out up close and personal!
I love the boat but i have to have storage!! I went from a 21 ft bass boat to a tin rig and storage was my biggest issue. I finally found the ranger rb190 and for the most part I love it. I wanted the rb200 but no more than I fish , I couldnt justify the price
sweet! I have a 2007 war eagle 2072 center console ...... shadow grass paint on the Suzuki 90 hp... I don't think I can ever bring myself to sell it, I'm the second owner since 2010, I just spent $10,000 on a basic reboot with a Bimini . anyway, the boat on its own is always a crowd pleaser .. something about it is just perfect .. I'm in New England , I've never seen another out here . Cool to see a brand new one. Geez... You call the place and the owner answers the darn phone! lol

Hey Shane, whats the approx. range of a full tank of gas in the 2170?
Not sure but it gets great gas mileage with that Yamaha 150

Yes with a 3 bank Ionic lithium charger
Where can you get one? I can’t find one anywhere
Mine came from
Smith Brothers in Hattiesburg Mississippi
Great looking boat What does it weigh with the trailer ? How does it pull ?
Not sure on the weight but it pulls great
Hey just seeing this. Is there a rod locker?
This one doesn’t come with one

If your not fishing HP restricted waters, max the engine. I’ve yet to hear anyone say “I wish I wouldn’t have maxed the engine”.
Nice boat, but how and where do you store your rods?
It’s has vertical rod holder by live well and behind the seats. I bout sone rod holders to mount on the sides I’m about to install.
Good looking rig
Great looking rig!
Thanks Blake
Could you get by with less motor? 150 hp seems like a ton.

Nice Boat! What is the length on your Garmin trolling motor?
50 inches the 57inch would have been perfect since this boat has a duckbill on the front
