I used to be against e collars but got educated on them and am more comfortable with training with them. Also, Cheap e collars are dangerous because the voltage may not be regulated which can injur the dog.
e-collars are NOT punishment devices and are to be shown and used with professional dog trainer help. Stop assuming that an e-collar is an electric collar. They are not... and I learned how to use both from professionals. Electric collars are long gone nowadays.

grew up on a farm and the electric fence has more kick than a shock collar. I know we tested them for fun.
