Swoon is my favorite album of theirs, and they're one of my favorite bands. Creation Lake is easily my favorite song, even though its a cover. Have you listened to Dinosaur Jr BTW? great band, Little Fury things is a good intro song.
Nice review, I’ll be checking out more. Lazy Eye is def their biggest. Though linger SP fans should tell you what’s best. Kissing Families shows a different vibe from their hey day. I need to check out their more recent stuff too.
The diversity on this channel is insane. I forgot about this band, used to like them quite a bit. The song of theirs I used to really love was “All The Go Inbetweens.” If you want to do that one in the future it’s a nice ballet.
I have all their albums and have seen them in concert a couple of times. The Royal We guitar solo was my ring tone for like 10 years, lol. Btw, the video for The Royal We is pretty cool too. Swoon is an excellent album start to finish. Can't go wrong with Panic Switch, Surrounded, or Growing Old is Getting Old. They also came out with an album last year called Widow's Weeds. Songbirds or We are Chameleons are excellent tracks from that album. If you go back to the Carnavas Album (with Lazy Eye), watch the vid for Well Thought Out Twinkles.

It’s definitely not the best song and wouldn’t make a great video honestly since it’s not a widely known song but the ending solo is a minute and a half of pure distorted guitar bliss.
