I've got a 6th tip: There are great free places to view launches across the Space Coast. Any of the river parks in Port St John and Titusville have unobstructed views of the launches. The Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville is an amazing spot, especially for the launches from 39A and 39B. Any beach in Cape Canaveral is a good option too. Avoid Jetty Park. It's expensive and often too crowded.
Been here and very interesting, A Number of years ago there was a night Launch, we were in Homestead Fl and actually saw the Shuttle due to a Night LAUNCH and the Bright Rockets were firing brightly.
The best part for me was the Apollo film and then the reveal. Very exciting. Second would be the bus tour. Overall however I felt there wasn't enough to do for the price (and it is overpriced imo). It was mostly films shown in the various buildings. An attraction this expensive to enter should never let the most fun things get sold out or booked up. It isn't fair to guests. Yet, some films were sold out as was the astronaut training experience. That's a huge let-down. Another thing that would have made it much better would be more exhibits of items brough back from space and other planets (like rocks). The feel of the place is like somewhat of a history museum....a tribute to what we have done.
hey, man, I'm in Orlando now... about a moth ago I left a comment for you & thanked u for all this info... tomorrow morning i'm heading out to KSC , IT'S ABOUT 70 MILES FROM MY HOTEL. THANX
I am planning to go to the Kennedy Space Center with my family and your video helps me a lot to understanding their schedule but can you please tell me where to buy tickets on the site, is it on the entrance way or I have to cross the entrance way to go inside to buy the ticket.
Really great video, thanx man. But I'm gonna need your help. Let's say I arrive at the space center between 12 pm-1 pm on Aug 31...how should I plan my space center trip should I start with the bus tour & then.... I don't know. Just help me out, please. thanx ....( or I should plan a early trip 10 am-...?)
I will be at the Space Center this weekend, and they just rescheduled a launch for the day we are going to be there. If the bus tours are not running on a launch day, will we still be able to see the things that we would have seen on the tour by walking to them? I don't want to miss out on seeing the Saturn V rocket
Hey , are you aware if there is any luggage storage facility in KSC? We plan to fly the evening after visiting it and need to store our luggage till afternoon as we plan to take an Uber . Checked online but couldn’t find anything .. please guide if you know !! Thanks
I went in November last year. It was empty. Very few people go in November. But it was also on a weekday, which could explain why it wasn’t so crowded.
West Gator Creek rd in Titusville is the west view, Jetty Park is the south view, both are free and legal, or pay to get into the Kennedy space center, AAA tickets sell out 3 days in advance. Check their website for launch viewing. Buses run to the Banana creek viewing area befor a launch, but get there early, the grand stand full up and then standing room only. Press area is different and not allowed for general public.

Great video! Just one question. How do you get the bus tour tickets?
You can buy it on the website
The basic tour was included in our ticket price. And you can add a more extensive one when u buy your ticket
Basic tour is included with base ticket.

When did you visit this park? Is there a season when it is extra busy? I am planning to visit in November, how do you think it will be then?
I went in November last year. It was empty. Very few people go in November. But it was also on a weekday, which could explain why it wasn’t so crowded.
My favorite part is the space fiction section about the moon landings.
Does ANYONE know how can a person get as close as they legally can to a rocket launch?
If its the press site, how do i get in with them?
