I am a 63 year old black dude. Back in late 70's early I use to play that song on 8 track. Just about everyday. Then nothing! You're guys sound just as good as Jo Jo Gunne! Thank you for taking me back to a better day and time.
wow Rick … 8 track .. they sounded way better than cassette but were limited in size. You are spot on sounds from a better time. Never understand how this track never features in all time greats.
Complete and utter brilliance. I've always liked this song, especially the slide playing on it, and this spirited rendition made me smile all the way through.
You fellas have blown my mind! I'm 67 and never heard anyone cover this truly forgotten oldie. And with Status Quo,Tommy James and the Yardbirds to Aerosmith and the Black Crows I am truly impressed. Spot on from start to finish. I only wish I could hear you guys live. Keep on rockin'. Your talent as musicians is phenomenal.
Saw Jo Jo Gunn live in 1972 at Winterland , S. F. This song was always one of my faves. Cheers to your band for attempting Run Run Run and playing it so well!
I had your albums back around '74. We even took a photo of us in the car, over the bonnet, like the album cover AND just heard it on an episode of sitcom "BRASSIC" S3 e2.... CLASSIC!!!!!!! Thanks for the memories!!!!
Ok who the hell ARE you guys????!!! NOBODY can cover a studio version that freakin' awesome!!! Bro's. Id've LOST MONEY in a bar bet sayin' that was Jo Jo Gunne live,,,JEEEZZZ Incredible! Thanks for really putting everything you've got into it! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn...........Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND QUIT YOUR DAY JOBS-WHEWWWEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JV
Back in the 70's,my band,HOLLYWOOD,used to play this song,Mr.Skin and Shake that Fat...Great Rocking so far by a Great band that didn't get the Credit they Deserved. Mitch
Absolutely brilliant! Proof that old men can not only still rock and roll, but they know how to do it right. Curious as to where their neighborhood is, seems that it might be a good place to live and enjoy music.
Holy S#&T. It's jo jo gunne,. Saw those guys live in 70s. U guys r great never heard a cover that sounded like the album,. And I'm 67 and i have the original album. U guys r awesome!!!!!!!!!!
I was 11 when this dropped. Could not stop playing it then and your version has just made me grin from ear to ear.. perfect. Not an easy track to make sound good but you guys made it sound awesome. Very well done..
That's an excellent cover! I saw them live in 1974 at Mohawk Valley community college in Utica New York when they opened for REO Speedwagon. They were incredible and that is a very good cover!
Yeah, I spent a lot of time listening to Jo Jo on records and live. Kudos to your dedication and skill! You truly honor the band! Nothin else to say except "Fuck Yeah"!
Jay, Matt, and Mark would nod in approval. I saw them in '74 at 2 small clubs in San Diego. JJ's Cafe (the old Palace on PCH) and Tuesday's downtown. Used to be The Hippodrome (roller-rink on Front and G street). Good times.
Dudes! You guys lit that up! That was a great version of an All Time great song. I've been playing a long time (drums), about 50 years. You did all of us Old Farts proud. But you set a new bar for the rest us when we want to get in front of people and play again. Drummer did a way cool job on a song that's a lot more difficult to play on the drums than it looks.
That was just perfect ! Great singing ! I'm a 67 years old drummer who plays in 3 cover bands and I like yours very much. Best regards from Rio de Janeiro !
Yeah, you guys rocked it. I was waiting for the center singer with the beer to sing: scram, scram, scram, scram, scram to those F***ing flies in is face...lol..but hey, you guys really "hit the note" as Duane Allman use to say. Rock On!!

If my band was still active, I’d be too embarrassed to ever play again after seeing this video.
