100% appreciate your humor in the videos. The content is great but the fact that you add in bits like “gotta go get my kid” just makes it funny and also relatable.
Yep … Exposed … so true. Why would you complain that the use of coconut oil get messy and you have to wash your hands if you don’t apply it to the models skin? 😉 Exposed and I‘m jealous 🤪 Thanks for the insights!
Because his marketing is on point. Between his UA-cam, Shorts, TikTok, etc., he not only generate ad revenue, he also get women wanting to work with him and paying money. This does not include the money he made from his beauty dish, courses, etc. If most photographers were as smart as him, they too would be making a lot more money.
Best thing for a slight shine on skin, and yes, it’s in a spray.. Banana Boat Dry Oil with Coconut Oil. No mess application, and you can wipe it once or twice after applying to tone down the sheen so it’s even more subtle.
One of the few videos out there that talk about the behind the scenes equipment. Very nice material and I feel I can pick up some ideas even if I am not a professional. Thank you sir.
You always provide some value, Manny Sir! I wish I would get to work with you someday as you are being Mentor to me, but that part where you said you apply that oil to the model then embarrassed 14:46 and said actually no I do not they them self-apply 😂
About raising and lowering the Slider Tripod, im planning to use one of those Motorized desk for my Product photography table. So i would have the exakt same height when i switch Products. I saw smaller Motorized legs, which could be handy for your Slider - You can program them to have like 3 different levels and dont have to worry about micromanaging the heights each time :D
You’ve been giving us a lot of videos on different equipment and your perspective on the different equipment. It’s extremely insightful and I love the content but can you get back to more content on studio shoots. Was learn a lot from those videos. The different light set ups and etc. 🙏🏾
Whats the approx value of your Production Studio and Gear - a.n.other UT content creator (afro ;-) has $1M studio ;-) so I was kinda curious about this for new UT's who seek high production values like your workflow
You have to very careful what you point your camera or phones camera at if you are near Wi-Fi. Whether you are recording or not hackers can see your screen or view finder for your camera or phone. Remote access is prevalent. We live in world where EXTREME ILLEGAL surveillance is practice daily by many. Government/Law Enforcement leaves it pretty much completely unmitigated.
@MannyOrtiz - Hey, I love your channel. I'd also like to ask how you got the effect on the image at 5:57 ? It's an outdoor shot but it looks like a studio kind of effect. :)
I hear you bro, creams and lotions on set can be a disaster! A makeup artist told me her recipe: you can try glycerin or olive oil in a bottle. 3 parts water to 1 part glycerin or olive oil.
You could just use a better camera on a ronin gimbal and with raven eye have the camera follow you with full frame quality and you won’t be able to walk out of frame it will track you as long as you don’t leave the room or go hide behind some foreign object.
True, but his point is that that will be an extra camera gear he will have in his studio. The ZV-E1 is just one piece of equipment that does multiple tasks because it is not only used for tracking purposes.
@@sun-eye that makes sense. I do like the ZV-E1. I personally think it’s a little over priced for what it is, that’s just my opinion though. I do think it has some pretty cool features but it’s price outs it up against some other good bodies
@@Bespoke_Whips You are right about the price, but the difference between him and us is that he is making a lot of money. Therefore, he can afford the extra cost for convenience. I mean, he wants a studio where he is comfortable that helps clear the mind. Unfortuately for us, we would have to buy every affordable equipment just to do one simple task. Hence, why my studio is cluttered and his is not.
@@sun-eye this is true. I guess if I could afford an A1, fx30, a7siii and these other bodies he has I wouldn’t complain about an additional body at the price of the ZV-E1. My only body at this point is the A7iv but I do run legit lenses. I only have g master lenses. I will say, hopefully one day we will be at the same point he is at and we can afford things like he is rocking. He has some pretty cool gear.
Hey, Manny I really appreciate your videos. I own the 90mm macro and I was wondering is it worth letting go of this one for 70-200 f4 macro. I own the new 70-200 GM 2.
im using the sony a7siii, ive been shooting video, but i want to get into photography as well. I found your channel from a suggested video where you showed the flash setup to get the super dark moody shots. fire content bro keep it up.
There is something like bodybuilding used with Pro-Tan on their skin. However, it may not suitable for model but I guess there is an alternative products, you might find. Unless you may ask some bodybuilder models what they do or how works with the product. I'm not expert any kinds of oily skin product. Speaking of lighting in the backgrounds, are you actually using all the time? Not like building lights, basically turned off forever. Seems like dark bat cave in the building, are you Batman?!! Keep up with good works, Manny... 📷
Bro thats freakin horrible about your fx3! Thats why i am so parnoid when iam outside shooting. I would just have a dji action or pocket on my chest and just my camera. That way no one can sneak up and grab&run.
That eyelighter looks sweet. Good tips on the coconut oil too. I wondered what was used.
Bro how’d your FX3 get stolen?! Also, we need your opinion on the ZCE1 vs A7CII
I think some gear got stolen from him when he was on vacation in Italy or somewhere. I think the vid is on his UA-cam.
100% appreciate your humor in the videos. The content is great but the fact that you add in bits like “gotta go get my kid” just makes it funny and also relatable.
Mickey Mouse caught me off guard 😂😂 Love your long videos Manny.
Made it throughout the video and clocked your repeated clip in the edit 😉

Bro, you got a camera stolen???? Tf?😮
He got 16000 dollars worth of gear stolen in Italy if I remember correctly.
a little spray bottle with half water and half glycerine works great :)
Bro must be rich. Use this comment as a like button if you're still a broke struggling photographer.

For skin: Olive oil spray.
This is 2 x 1, great tutorial on piece of gear and use, and great tutorial on how to go viral 😂. I love your content!
Thank you for taking your time to give us the details. I appreciate your effort and will be applying a lot of what I learned today to my career.
you are welcome

Your studio is bonkers. Thanks for the tour.
Well, that's one way to bring in the female viewers😂
Who else clicked because of the thumbnail? 😂 Be honest…
I don’t get it, he’s going over his gear purchases…thumbnail says best gear purchases…what am I missing 🤨
The sigma 35 f1,2 is the best 35mm on the market :) I own it.. its absolutely insane but its a lot bigger and heavier
I think you included the coconut oil bit twice
extra-virgin coconut oil got some extra love 😂
I def been putting that beauty dish through its paces these last few photoshoots. Good video Manny 📸!

The fact that you don't apply the coconut oil yourself, we believe it, you don't have to say it twice 😅
He forgot to do the cut but its still odd he would say it twice
Share link to the outfit
Another Great Video From The Man Himself 😁👏
Why are YOU washing your hands after using the coconut oil Manny? Huh? Huh!? 😁
I shoot about 95 percent of my work with this right here...
*shameless plug walk off* 😂😂😂

Hey Manny , thanks for sharing! You're a CLass ACT! You're an excellent instructor as well! Keep up the great work! Mr. Hop....

That helmet rig makes you look like a Snork but... It's probably the best fps rig
Hello...what type of softbox was that to the right of your eyelighter....it's all white
I'm curious what umbrella you were using during the clamshell shot?
The coccnut comment kinda sus my guy hahahaha you said it twice... are you sure about your final answer??? hahhahahha

when you mentioned the coconut oil, I was waiting for an example photo to understand which did not happen 😮💨
Can we please talk about that great Mickey Mouse impression?!
Exposing yourself, extra virgin oil ? This video is MA….😂
Great gear section and well presented. Keep up the good work Mickey.
Your videos are informative so the time don’t matter… plus you always leave the funny stuff
That Mickey Mouse impression 😂
use baby oil and a micro fiber towel to wipe away the access and it will keep the shine for a long time
Tracking for solo creators? Try Hohem MT2 ;)
Are you sure you’re not the one applying the coconut oil? 😂😂😂
Raw banana waffles can dip fry in to coconut oil , you will really enjoy the taste 😅…
