These all looked so good. I’m making all of them! Oh… I have a quick tip… instead of an egg wash, for coating chicken, I use mayonnaise. It’s so much easier. I just get out my pastry brush, spread the Mayo on the chicken, and then into the bread crumbs she goes. It works great, and Mayo is just egg and oil. It also keeps the chicken moist. You have a lovely family. All the best! 😊
yes, I also just put the chicken in the baking dish, put mayo on the top side and put the breadcrumb mixture on top--you don't even need it to coat both sides--you just need the flavor on top for each bite and it is very good that way--and easy and not messy--I like the Ceasar dressing idea...dts/usa
I spend my morning with you & my doggie. You bring me joy. I start everyday off with a smile. Thank you for being brave enough to put yourself out there. I truly appreciate it.
Love love love these recipes! I've been a lazybones about writing them down, just relying on the videos to recreate the yummies. Right up until today when I couldn't remember which video contained a dish I wanted to do again! So now I'm going back to put your vids on their own yt folder but I'm also gonna write em down to pass along to the next generation! Bon appetit!
Hey, Brooke! Great recipes as usual. Do you have problems with your cast iron skillet scratching your glass stove top? I was told never to do that but I miss using my cast iron! Thanks!❤
The frozen 3lb bag chicken at Walmart usually is trimmed really well. Love this video❤ We only eat chicken or turkey (whole/ground). All of these look so good😋
Brook you could save that part of the chicken you cut off to add to the chicken bones , if you make your own chicken broth! Just an idea 💡. Great ideas for chicken!
Fantastic ideas! I started using mayo and dijon on my chicken before I coat it in shake n bake or ritz (when eggs were still $5/dzn) and that was good, but I LOOOVE caesar dressing, so I will have to try that!!
Do you use the pieces that you cut off your chicken to boil and use to make some chicken stock to then can? I usually use all chicken pieces and any bones to do that. Makes great soups later on. I’m also a frugal person. Always have been. No shame…
My oldest who is 12 and enjoys cooking with me still can’t believe when I tell her in the 90s we always ate ground beef because it was the cheapest and chicken was more of a treat now it’s definitely the other way around 😅
I grew up in the 90's and we were poor. I wouldn't eat hot dogs for about 13 years after that phase, and I can't eat spaghetti OR turkey burgers, to this day. I would have DIED for some chicken that wasn't in the form of a Banquet chicken nugget meal!
They all look so good! When I cut off the "ick" off chicken, I throw it in a pot of water and cook it for the barn kittie cats and a little bit for my chihuahua. They LOVE it.
In this Tennessee house we don't turn on the oven for about eight months of the year. Maybe when the nights are in the sixties. Too hot otherwise. This summer I got a panini press... I've been using it for grilled cheese and tatortots and anything I want some browning on. I bet some of these breaded chickens would work in that. Best six dollars I've spent in a while. (thrifted at Habitat restore)
Love the chicken ideas! I do use any thick or creamy salad dressing as a start and use whatever I have on had as the crumb coating (panko, bread crumbs, crushed cracker, or crushed croutons) and whatever seasonings and herbs to go with it. We love using the honey mustard dressing for coating the most. even blur cheese dressing with buffalo style seasonings in the crumb is a hit in our house! Also works on pork chops!
I haven't made it in years but my sister has a recipe that basically just an Italian dressing season packet and parmesan (the shake kind) sprinkled onto the chicken, and then top it with pats of butter and bake. Very fast, simple and delicious.
❤ my oldest moved out in February 2023. I had to relearn cooking with one less person. I miss him but I’m blessed he is doing well. Your shows have been so helpful when I can’t think of anything to make with what I have in our household. The cheap nearest store is 4 hour drive so I love all your videos. Thank you. (Silent watcher) -Grace from Alaska
Thank you for this video! I was just sitting here trying to figure out what to do with the chicken I have in my fridge & I was wanting something different. I’m going to try the brown sugar garlic one because I have everything for that one :) Thank you again!
I hope you see this and know that you have taught this 46 almost 47 year old woman how to cook differently.I now think carefully what can I do with what's in my refrigerator more so than I ever did before thank you so much for teaching me this it's allowed me to make my very very small grocery budget go so far.❤
Good morning, my beautiful Video Queen. Thanks for sharing these great chicken recipes with me as I enjoy my coffee and juice with you. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
Thanks, Brooke! They all look so good and easy. I love the looks on the boys faces when they try things. Never fails to make me smile. Great job, Momma. Be blessed always, my Southerland Squad! xoxo
I never thought of that until you commented it. I was born in the 90's and between the 2000s I remember my mom cooking alot of beef recipes and rarely any chicken. It makes sense now. And because of that beef is my favorite protein but it is so expensive.
You and your family are so awesome. You especially make me smile..... your kindness and joy just shines on your face. Thank you for doing this channel. God bless
What brand of knife are you using and where did you get it please? One oven chicken we love is Salsa chicken. Season both side of breast with taco seasoning and lay into casserole dish pour salsa over top each cover with foil bake 30 minutes at 350 remove foil and top with shredded cheddar return to oven for 5 minutes slice and serve on bed of rice.
I enjoy watching your videos they remind me of cooking with my mom when I was little sadly my mom passed away in 2004 but I have happy memories of her making chicken and dumplings and homemade donuts and apple turnovers thanks for bringing those memories alive again in my mind
I'm so happy to see your channel growing 💗 I love your family and your content! Thank you for sharing both with us! U give e great ideas for feeding y family 💗🙏
Do you use the chicken scraps with your veggie scraps when you make your homemade broth? I am not a good cook like you. I was just curious if that works or not. Or if only the bones do.
The Brown sugar and garlic chicken is probably going to wind up on the table this week. Brown sugar and dijon mustard mixed together make a great coating for chicken breasts also. Bake or fry in a pan.
Brooke the ick you refer too … save it and when you want fresh chicken broth boom you use that! Awesome chicken recipes! I’m watching this at 10 pm and now I want some chicken lol!!!
Brooke Great chicken recipes. We are having homemade chicken soup tonight because I have a lot of garden vegetables to use that a friend gave us. So thankful friends share their extras with us.
I have never seen a recipe like your Ceasar chicken. I'm used to seeing chicken getting egg dipped and then coated in seasoning. I'm Australian and I really enjoy your videos!
Hey, Brooke 💗💚. How did you know that this is my dilemma right now 😂. Thank you so much for giving me options! Ugh! I don’t have Caesar dressing and yesterday I was wishing I did 😂. That looks so yummy! 🧀 🧀🧀. Well, I do have ranch so that’s a possibility 😂. But, I’m out of bacon 🤨. I have everything for the Ritz 😊. Oooh, I have everything for the brown sugar garlic, too! I’m going with the brown sugar and garlic, tonight ❤. I will try them all when I can get to the store. Thank you so very much for your help, sweetheart ❤
I have some Caesar dressing to use up and I’m making the first recipe tonight! Thank you I had no idea what I was going to make for dinner today. Also, I’m not gonna lie…. I totally thought the brown sugar was going to burn! That’s crazy! I’ve never heard of that before. Thank you for sharing we always have lots of chicken but my family gets sick of the same thing all the time. Your awesome!!
Hi Brooke, love these recipes but I want to know how you keep your knives so sharp. I have a sharpener but they still hardly cut plastic. I could not slice chicken breasts like you do. What’s your secret?
Brooke, may I ask…what do you do with the icky chicken pieces that you trim off? Just curious. I love watching you and your family. Your creative meal cooking and planning is inspiring. I cook for just myself and am constantly cutting down recipes. I’ve tried some and I’ve got a list of ones I still need to try. You are loved and appreciated. Thank you so very much.
First I want to say I adore you and your family and I enjoy watching your channel. I usually watch from my television which doesn't let me leave any comments. I have a concern that I wanted to express in case you may not be aware of. I have seen you use a wooden cutting board when you cut up raw chicken. I've always been told and have read that using wood to cut raw chicken is dangerous for contracting salmonella. Now obviously neither you or your family has become sick, which tells me you are being safe when prepping your chicken. Again, I love love love your channel and by no means am I being negative, just concerned. ✌️❤️
I'm glad to see someone else cut chicken breasts and trim the way I do.
These all looked so good. I’m making all of them! Oh… I have a quick tip… instead of an egg wash, for coating chicken, I use mayonnaise. It’s so much easier. Yes thank you ❤I need to try it..

The bacon ranch chicken reminded me of potato skins, which is definitely an underutilized dish in budget cooking
I also do the same but with mayo and Italian style bread crumbs.
I would love to see you make a weeks worth of meals (breakfast lunch and dinner) for $21 ($1 a meal) or less.
The Ritz chicken dish is delicious substituting the chicken with pork chops.
I'm making this tomorrow in my new oven air-fryer with some Italian dressing, breadcrumbs and parmesan, all items that I have on hand. Thanks!
Hey, Brooke! Great recipes as usual. Do you have problems with your cast iron skillet scratching your glass stove top? I was told never to do that but I miss using my cast iron! Thanks!❤
Do you know what you need to do? You need to make your own recipe book! 😀🎉 I would be first in line ❤
The frozen 3lb bag chicken at Walmart usually is trimmed really well. Love this video❤ We only eat chicken or turkey (whole/ground). All of these look so good😋
Love your channel and the recipes you come up with!!😋💜
Delish
I love this channel always go eats.😊
Thanks for the easy and great ideas! You know I'll be making these soon❤
Brook you could save that part of the chicken you cut off to add to the chicken bones , if you make your own chicken broth! Just an idea 💡. Great ideas for chicken!
There my cute little man😊
I will definitely be making some of these recipes, that brown sugar, garlic, chicken, and that ritz chicken looks delicious
Thanks for another great cooking video and some great yummy food. Hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy, and Debbie.
❤❤❤
Awesome 👏🏾 thank you 🙏🏾 chicken 🐔 fastastic 🍗 ♥️
Fantastic ideas! I started using mayo and dijon on my chicken before I coat it in shake n bake or ritz (when eggs were still $5/dzn) and that was good, but I LOOOVE caesar dressing, so I will have to try that!!
Great quick and easy recipes Brooke. I'm going to try the Cesar chicken since I already have the ingredients for it.
I have made before that but used eggs to dip in first. Really good!
Bbq sauce is also really good with the cheesy bacon chicken. 😊
They all looked delicious!
Do you use the pieces that you cut off your chicken to boil and use to make some chicken stock to then can? I usually use all chicken pieces and any bones to do that. Makes great soups later on. I’m also a frugal person. Always have been. No shame…
You saved my day once again 😊 thank you!!
They look so good, can't wait to try it. Thanks Brooke ❤❤❤❤
I hope you cooked those chicken trimmings???
These all look great. I can feed 4 people with 1 chicken breast!
What can we use instead of chicken?
When we were out of chicken, I've used pork cutlets instead. The kids thought it tasted the same since I used the same seasoning! 😊
Everything tastes better in and iron skillet but I can't use mine anymore they're too heavy
I add bacon pieces
Holey Moley Brooke 51.9k👏👏👏
Please what is Ranch.
Looks like Mayo, or what in UK, we call salad cream👍🙏
Please tell me you didnt waste that chicken, and you made broth out of it!! 😐😐😐
My oldest who is 12 and enjoys cooking with me still can’t believe when I tell her in the 90s we always ate ground beef because it was the cheapest and chicken was more of a treat now it’s definitely the other way around 😅
Hamburgers, sloppy Joe's, swedish meatballs, hamburger steak, spaghetti, and hamburger casserole - we eat it all in the 80s, too.
@@samanthadodd8112 …and SO MUCH meatloaf 🤦♀️
Same here in 90's Australia 😅

Forgot meatloaf - at least once or twice a month.

Don't waste it! Makes chicken stock too!
@@suzannesanborn1384 yes, freeze all those pieces until you have a good amount for the stock.
Save those beautiful “ick” pieces, freeze and accumulate, to use when making homemade bone broth.
i mixed cream cheese and kraft parmesan cheese with a jar of spaghetti sauce and tossed it with elbow noodles for dinner
In this Tennessee house we don't turn on the oven for about eight months of the year. Maybe when the nights are in the sixties. Too hot otherwise.

Love the ReStore!!
I'm begging you to make a blog and post up all your recipes on it. Would make it so much easier to find all your recipes and save them!
Love the chicken ideas! Hi Brooke, love your channel!! I take the trimmings from chicken and put in water on stove with any veggie scraps, tada....free chicken broth

Do you use the chicken scraps with your veggie scraps when you make your homemade broth? I am not a good cook like you. I was just curious if that works or not. Or if only the bones do.

I so have to try these! The second dish is calling my name lol. I make something similar to the last recipe but with pork chops.

would ranch work? I dont like that caesar has anchovies in it
I've made a similar recipe with either ranch or just sour cream. It's a nice change of pace!

Okay, the Ritz cracker chicken was AMAZING. Just made it. Soooo good, thank you!😋

The Ritz chicken would be good with broccoli and cheddar cheese to make ,
Broccoli Cheddar Chicken !!!!
