If you attempt this, keep in mind, this whole guide relies on Laird's Def Break proccing on Elwin, once everything else is dead. So once Elwin is solo, there is a 50% chance it will proc, and this guide will work and another 50% chance you have to do EVERYTHING over again.
Completely False, you have other unused units that can attack before you smash or rout him down. It didn't proc for me so i weakened him some more then smashed him down and i still one shotted him with Leon. if i smashed right away like he did i would've obviously failed but thats when you use your common sense and alter the actions a bit. I am pretty sure the way the units are position is to allow ppl to dmg Elwin some more in case Laird didn't proc his def break. i have followed all his vids and managed to clear even when i killed stuff faster or didn't kill stuff when i should. You need to make slight adjustment but as long as you understand the fight mechanic and position properly you can clear without being at the mercy of RNG
@@xSS4x I just did this fight and followed it exactly. my Larid attacked elwin - defence break proc'ed i did all the moves leading up to the hit before Leons final attack and elwin ends up soaking the last units hit (fatal charge). After this i re positioned my units to try again without def break and elwin just out heals everything with brave's will.
Actually the key to killing Elwin is using Laird's 'Assault' skill which stops him from healing. Once assault is triggered then the rest of the cavalry can hammer him until HP is low enough for Leon to kill. Otherwise Elwin continues to heal himself after each attack on him.
And another fine guides to those elusive twisted fate stages. Thank you very much! I did this one just to get enough points for Leon's special armor. Looks great on him! P.S.: Leon and the Blue Dragon knights would be very grateful if you could control them in Langrisser II. XD

Daniel Kasurke probably because DEF break effect is not on Elwin ,this debuff comes from when Laird attacks Elwin (50% success rate). Otherwise trying power up Leon.
See how you have a few unused units near the end. If laird skill didn't proc you use 1 or 2 and attack him from each side to soften him some more before you use smash or rout to send him down. Also having vampire mask or horror helmet on Leon can give you a def down proc if you Chivalry diagonally from Elwin so you can still use 3 moves to 1k hooves circling him after the proc. I did it that way and it worked great even with Laird skill not activating.

@@pomidor-vkysni я ровно год играю. И мой Леон с весны 3с имеет. Прокачай его нормально, солдат тоже, и прочитай скиллы этих конников. Красный скилл увеличивает урон по врагу.

Air lol my Leon is over 6000 and all bis and still couldn’t kill Elwin’s self heal is to powerful
Laird has to bring Assault and DEF Break in order to afflicting Elwin cannot be healed and 50% chance to reduce Elwin's DEF by 20%.

Same with me, my laird has assault and def break but the buff just "cannot be healed". 50% chance to reduce won't inflict elwin.
