We have some awesome brand new Kone TranSys lifts at our new sainsburys, there is two and right next to them is the gated goods lift :O There is a security geezer guarding it tho :(
KONE probably got rid the stop bang in their newest generation of EcoDisc's for a quieter and smoother ride which honestly I'd myself prefer hearing a motor sound than the sound bang when stopping. KONE MonoSpace still makes it like that. And the older Gen2's that Otis installed in America have that awesome stop bang as well and they got rid of it too with their newer Gen2's :(
IDLift3000 That's because the motors are the same. different parts of the world may use different fixtures, but the actually lift motor is still the same as in any ecodisc or OTIS Gen 2 anywhere in the world.
In America some lifts with a rear door can open both together. interesting that it says G instead 0. bennie lift also sounds tired. nice that one lift shows a direction arrow between floors.
My school has an old platform lift that you have to control with a key on the outside or put the key inside and use the buttons inside, not sure which brand, never been in it,from what my friends say about it,it was very grotty
Beno you are the best at lift tours you dragged me to it so much 😉😉
I love that cute British voice on all 1st Generation EcoDiscs.

all firms that otis took over now belong to the express lift alliance, a brand of otis that install all the crap lifts.
At the Hilton at Gatwick south terminal (in the modern part of the hotel), I've found some first generation Ecodiscs with the third generation motor.
+Telfuke in Australia, there are some of those.
If there were 2 sets of doors in my country the floors would be 1 1r 2 2r and so on but american floor numbering starts at 1 not ground or 0
