  • Through collaborative programs with the World Bank, AFDB, and our internal initiatives, we aim to lift 25 million Nigerians out of energy poverty within three years. This is a bold move and demonstrates the audacity of the Tinubu administration in addressing the challenges faced by Nigeria.

This man is looking and talking like a step in the right direction. The agenda might look underwhelming, but we need to start from somewhere. I pray he stays away from corruption.

The Arise Presenters should have collected datasets from REA prior to this interview so they can pin him down on his knowledge of the work of the agency.

Why is nothing planned for the southeast, where many manufacturers are already working on a range of battery products and panels?
The deliberate attempts by this government to exclude the southeast from this type of project is simply counterproductive.
Nnewi and Aba are already known to be working on such projects using private sector finds. Why not include them in the production of batteries and panels?
Are they deficient in the production of such project components?

The bar is still too low for the giant of Africa.
25 million. Nigerians is only about 10%. in 3 years... not good enough when the world already has enough technology to get it done faster to cover more people. All the money embezzlement can easily be used to get this done without continuing to borrow from world bank.
🇳🇬 Nigerians need to stop being too patient with these folks. Otherwise, they'd end up as patients without a hospital nor doctor.
The President needs to give a mandate to all the governors to focus on providing constant and consistent electricity for at least 4 million new folls in their population. How does the average Nigerian enjoy a little bit of the yield of Nigeria's abundant Natural Resources???

Another gravy train sector for the locusts of Nigeria. Come back in 3 years, billions squandered and, nothing is achieved. He just likes to talk. Arise presenters so desperate to interrupt. 🤣. Looks so uncomfortable handling questions. Obviously promoted beyond his competence level.
