Yes it is a cover but all 5 of them rewrote the lyric . They actually released it on soundcloud on 29 December 2020. Only release the lyric video 1 day after that.
FYI, the 1st person who singing "lowkey f2020" line is Hueningkai and the 2nd one is Taehyun and both of them are the youngest in TXT 😅

2:32 ya it is just the beat & they made it into korean with their own lyrics ~those guys requesting should have clarified it for you instead of just referring it as a cover when it is way more
it was originally english but now it is completely different to reflect personal sentiments; it is a lot more raw than the original & the vibe completely changed ~they honestly made it theirs cause it is just some of the melody/beat similar & the ‘lk f2020’ slogan kept however everything else switched ~lyrics/arrangements entirely-
i wished the requested let you know ahead so it could have been more appreciated but i guess u know now. guess u can call it a remake or inspiration more-so than a traditional cover which they kind of did in the past but not to this extent
Hopefully they release this as an official song with them for the lyrics & the original artists for the beat~ in the credits~ the original artists were so excited on social media when they heard & was very appreciative as well.
(plus some of the writings on the video with the korean lyrics to follow along are handwritten by the members as well ~looks great)
