The refurbishment of Newport Minster

The historic Newport Minster is to re-open after a £2.6m refurbishment to enable it to become the heart of the island community, as well as its spiritual hub. After seven months of refurbishment by skilled local craftspeople, the minster will re-open with a special service on May 1, with the Bishop of Portsmouth.
