Was doing a delivery to a grocery store with my rigid chassis Scania R580 with a 4-axle full trailer and had a guy tell me it was impossible to get into the loading area with a trailer. I proved him wrong. Had to go out and check 6 times to make sure I didn't hit anything but it wasn't that bad. Took me roughly 5 minutes to get the rear lift of the trailer onto the loading dock.

Skill. I would've backed in from the road though but only because we drive on the right side in my part of the world. Damn those roads are narrow.....hats off to you man...👍🏽💪🙏
You didn't even look on the right side before step inside the cabin when you was down, when you have to reverse and you have close angles you should work with slow reverse otherwise you fuck the clutch, then, you had to go in with the loop to the right, so the back of the trailer stays as close as possible to the curb, then come back straight 3-4 meters until you have an angle of 75-80 degrees between the trailer and the cabin, then you had to turn as much as possible left, with one maneuver you were on the ramp but I think you are a starter and you will learn these things in time. Good luck,God be with you în your travels.

i have a question tho.... why didnt you line up the truck better before attempting , there was plenty of space behind you. i would have reversed further back. then lined up the truck so the trailer was already at a more correct angel before reversing. or maybe explore the possibility to turn in that cross section further down. and then reverse up.
If you were to reverse up the way your playing off your blind side and a more narrow angle with one side curb being straight compared to one with a curve so you'd be jack knifing and risking going over that edge. The way he's doing it from that angle allows him to do it off his good side, lean out and see better. If he had set him up more straight with the bend then he's putting a higher risk to hitting the wall on the right when the trailer swings out
Wow, man! This was a really tough situation but you figured it out and you made it, that really shows your skills backing the truck. Amazing! Good job, keep up the hard-working. Have a safe drive 😎👍

good job bro but you must move up on that little space of the grass so those few centimetres cn help you so much to avoid hard turning the trailer that can be damage your rear wheels GOD BLESS YOU YOUR SO PROFESSIONAL BRO NICE
This is ridiculous. Why the heck do they send a articulated truck Instead of a rigid? You are truly amazing to even manage to reverse. Seriously salute you
in germany / austria most of the companies who do inner-land jobs doing jobs like this, because 1, its possible 2, I guess its good money. I saw videos where dutch drivers taking corners by lifting up their own trailer with a forklift to put it to the side otherwise they couldn't turn in, or belgian drivers driving in city centre with a semi. Its a common thing... I even saw semis inside London city centre, they are bringing the stuff to the local shops and I guess normal trucks without trailer couldn't carry that much of the stuff
Good job, been in a lot of nasty spots myself. Would it have been possible to enter from the street below to the right and back up the driveway? It looked like it might have been easier to back in from that direction, assuming you had access from there. Either way, it's amazing how some places expect you to get a trailer in when there's basically no room without hitting something.
My thoughts exactly, if he had access from maybe the side of the street where his nose was pointing initially or even backed in from bottom of the street there he probably couldve gotten a pretty easy blindside back. But even atill, props given to this guy. Everything can be learned from and doing this manuever in a tight space such as this gave him a both a good lesson and maybe even some more confidence.
@@lokimoya I agree. Gives you good practice though! I'm a Heavy Haul/Oversize guy, my tractor is a 4 axle Western Star 49X, so my turning radius is nowhere as tight as his Scania, but some of the spots I've had the pleasure of wiggling into will make your skin crawl. I always get out and do a scan of the area before I try a spot, I'm sure he did as well, but there are some spots that are just brutal getting into, and it gets more annoying when you have an "expert" guiding you. I just politely ask them to stay clear and let me do what I do best.
When the gas Pedal was broken it wasn't broken the air for the brakes to release was just up. Just wait with the engine running till the truck moves again👍
I have a question,. Wouldn't it have been more comfortable for you to enter from the place where you left? Get to the place where you came from but in the normal forward direction, pass the entrance and then go back
He had good space on his right side, and if he start the backing with maximum angle from the beginning he would go straight in. Rocking the steeringwheel like a maniack does NOT make things better. Add some snow, black ice and complete darkness then you have the conditions we have here in Norway.
Don’t get me wrong it’s tight, but it ain’t a blindside and the setup was wrong from the get go. Plenty of extra room he was afraid to use as well. Learning to use those extra inches really makes a difference in a tight reverse. Comes with experience
The physic's envolved in backing up a trailer into an area, isn't exactly the same as the physic's envolved in pulling out of the same area. The offset of the trailer's wheel's envolved while backing, isn't the same as the offset of the trailer wheels when pulling out. Meaning it sometimes impossible to back in, and on rare occasion after backing in, to pull out. The longer the trailer, the more the the difference in physic's comes into play. There are many area's which were built year's ago, when the length of trailer were considerably shorter. Making today's considerably longer trailer to have issue's when the offset between a shorter trailer and a longer on come's into play.

There is nothing more to say, ....you are a' Master...have good drives again...so i' m wish you...🤗

good job bro but you must move up on that little space of the grass so those few centimetres cn help you so much to avoid hard turning the trailer that can be damage your rear wheels
GOD BLESS YOU YOUR SO PROFESSIONAL BRO NICE

Keep on going strong that’s why you are called a master truck driver love from ny USA new york
Each driver no hiero can and must do it - it is normal .😊
I have a question,. Wouldn't it have been more comfortable for you to enter from the place where you left?
Get to the place where you came from but in the normal forward direction, pass the entrance and then go back
looks like reverse from other end will got more place to turn, or just for show skill😝

For a truck driver in London this is considered an easy parking spot.
Its hard when you can't find parking when you are in the truck.

I'm also Truck Driver i see your good job

37 years in a big truck and went in for a back to work physical after seasonal layoff and I was done that day. They said what they heard I needed a cardiac workup. Cardiologist said I had had a heart attack or a virus had attacked my heart. It took 2 and a half years to get disability. luckily my wife had decided to go back to college 3-4 years prior or we would of lost everything. It’s the greatest job in the world but be careful.

I had a similar issue with a Scania R450 with the gas pedal, my first thought was to turn on battery isolator switch on and off, and that fixed it.
This guy turns the engine off and then starts it again immediately. After turning off the engine, better wait about 30 seconds so the computers can reset themselves
@@mvdk78 capacitors in ECU/TCM can hold charge for months. Key off / on is not going to reset anything unless it's an old 1st/2nd generation EFI that would take barometric sensor reading only at key on and store that information in volatile memory. Learning from those mistakes manufacturers now take those kinds of data readings continuously through operation.
@@mvdk78 yes! This is at least unprofessional.
Nicely done my friend 👏...I would have gone up close on the grass near the tree like many others did...also nice to see that there are very tight place other then in Ireland 🇮🇪
man u are insane with this rear parking
Hi bro nice to video good job love from India Hyderabad ❤️🇮🇳💐🙏👌💯
Just a suggestion. Why don't you install a rear camera ? it will make it easier for you.
If a small suv has a rear camera, a truck should have a rear camera too.
Te quedaste sin aire????….🧐🧐
