Now THIS is a new fresh idea that I love for HHN. Feels slightly different than the normal formula we are used to.
Yeah it's strange how they haven't already did this idea before.
I’m all in on this idea! Mel’s is one of the hearts of HHN! Do it up big Universal! Earlow Wolfe takes over Mel’s with his Vamps serving up those fresh meat burgers 😂
hahaha so true Mel's Die-In is apart of HHN. Why not throw it in a anniversary house at HHN 35 😮
I’d be so down for a retro Halloween overlay to Mel’s! It could be something similar to the vibe found at HHN 31 and really play into that era.
Yeah that was my thinking. They could even play some of the spooky older music.

I love this idea and as others are saying a retro 50s halloween style. With a hhn radio station playing. Some characters for photo ops. Lots of halloween decor. Absolutely down for it. Actually, im surprised they never even did an original house based on mels die in with a back story and everything.
🤯 Yeah Me's Die-In apart of a house. Would be so awesome! Perhaps an anniversary house. Much like how they added the Kitty Kat Club into a house. Yeah Universe turn Mel's into number 1 HHN spot!

50s kistch for diner would be great. Wolfman Jack audio loop on the radio. A play on American Graffiti character and the DJ actually being a monster. Why not Scareactor dining back somehow for the first start of the night? I know it would be koo koo turn over, but I think potentially better than Louie's.
Yeah I like your thinking 👍. I could be wrong but I feel Scareactor dining is on the back burner for a little while.
They should do a scarezone by transformers again and have it extend into Mel’s! So the scare actors can go inside and interact with people eating and in the street.
They had the roaming horde there but since then. They have stopped using those type of groups and casted them into the other zones or houses.
I know I posted it on Twitter, but it could be super fun to have a Meetz Meats overlay for it, too. 😊
😂 they serve only the best meats! Would be a cool tie in.
Since Universal is successful with retro IP. Lets do Night Gallery TV show. This will attract the guests that enjoy horror under the normal radar. Each room can tell a episode. Have it on the same lot it was filmed is Hollywood too. 😊
Imo they should decorate the entrance more. Bring back the video screen, a few actors for photos and fog

Yeah those were great days. I use to stand there and stare at the Bloody Mary video screen. It creeped me out so much. Sadly that won't ever come back. Much less the decorating. They are stuck with using the lights and the simple setup.
@ZombieChris there's no reason they can't run videos in queue lines all of them.. vignettes old commercials promos I simple voice over narration with sketch art..
I think this is definitely a possibility

Mel's food is horrible... Fits the Horror Night theme!
Not sure when you last had it but since the reopening. The food is better.
