I am an International student. Is this an applicable for me? I am earning less than 12,570 and my husband earn around 30,000 per month with two different jobs.
Hello! We have applied for this aid because we understood that we were going to receive the aid of 1200 pounds in a check around 1 month after applying and 1 month has passed and I have not received any check with that amount, they have only refunded taxes 250 lbs....
Thanks for such valuable information. Keep this up. I have just subscribed!
Also I think the partner paying tax (the one claiming the relief) can’t be higher rate tax payer
Can my wife able to apply as she don’t work
What if your partner is not working at all, do I get some kind of help with these schemes? Or not?
Thank you
Bit confusing on the numbers at the start. You started with £1000 and then went to a different number??

Yes, that sounds about right. You transfer the £1260 personal allowance which reduces your partner's tax bill by up to £252.
@@LookingAfterYourPennies Yes, but my friend receives a check...but I don't...
£1260 PER moth or per year?
Per year, works out to about 250 extra take home per year, or some more free contribution to your pension
