@@user-zm5jh3vp7l honestly I don’t see them changing the artstyle back to how it looked before wano. there’s a new character designer, a talented series director like Tatsuya Nagamine, and the fact they had to sacrifice the reverie arc in the anime to get the wano arc to look as good as it could be so I honestly don’t mind how it looks now. I’m pretty sure they’ll be sticking around long after wano, though we’ll just have to see what happens

@@rajsaha7885 hmm. Yes, in the Philippines it is where most of the animation of the Japanese companies has been done for almost always.
Something like Disney with other Asian countries, Cartoonetwork and Fox, with Korea and Vietnam, Discovery Kids with Canada...
Since almost always the anime is made with foreign manufacturing to Japan... The Philippines is one of those countries where almost all anime are developed, no animation company in the world develops the animation of its products in its main studios. In major companies, part of the work is done.

Currently, the standard in the anime industry is:
      .
-CLIP STUDIO PAINT or TVPAINT (Both for base animation and Cleaning... it should also be clarified that currently many studios are still drawing on paper and pencil and then they scan the sheet to pass it directly to the color phase)
-RETAS TRACEMAN (In many studios drawing is still done on real paper, so on paper the layout is made until the lineart process with clean lines, then it is scanned using the TRACEMAN program that cleanly digitizes the LineArt)
      .
-RETAS PAINTMAN (For color work, it is used after scanning the drawing with TRACEMAN and also when importing the drawings from CLIP STUDIO PAINT or TV PAINT)
      .
-ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS (For composition, effects and line smoothing, yes, line smoothing, since during the coloring process the lines are automatically pixelated in RETAS ColorMan to optimize the coloring efficiency)

How can I learn to draw like this

    • @Ruldolphmaker
      @Ruldolphmaker 3 роки тому +6

Honest answer? You learn to draw. Anatomy shape, gesture, composition etc etc.
Anime is an abstraction. You must learn how to make your own representations of abstractions. Do that and you'll learn to make scenes as impressive as this.
Lucky you though, you'd be learning animation in the 2020s and not the mid 2000s and 2010s like me. You have free studio software like Blender and Opentoonz you can animate in, and bamboo tablets are like 50 bucks.

Guys IDK why this statement started people going Downing him for being "Wrong" he just means it's stylistically similar to what Mr. Nakamura does.
It is. Katsumi Ishizuka is channeling his Nakamura when doing scenes like this. I'm certain newer animators would have informed him of Sakugabooru or something similar to look at different approaches. There's no way his modern work isn't inspired by Mr. Nakamura.
what Impressess me is how its on paper and not a tablet drawing. He's got very precise "digital-era" effects drawn on his paper. Clearly he's used to paper but him and Mr. Nakamura show that modern effects work can indeed be done on pen and paper.

For the animation? Depends on the animator. Some are still pencil and paper, others animate in TVPaint or Clip Studio Paint.
If you want to do it for free on desktop, use *Opentoonz.* If you want to do 2D mixed with 3D, *Blender* is your friend.
For animatics? Probably Premiere or something similar. If you want to try it, use Davinci because it's free and works like Premiere and After effects.
      For coloring?
Retas or Toonz and some Photoshop. Some studios like WIT and Trigger are doing it in TVPaint

Most animations are done in 2s which means 12fps instead of 24, for high action sequences like these they do in ones, which is the full 24 frames, so one drawing per frame. I don't think they'll ever go more than that, it's diminishing returns and becomes much more expensive to do.
