BEGA BLUES BAND & KAJTAR ARPAD - Live in Jimbolia 2009

On August 22, 2009, BEGA BLUES BAND - the longest-running jazz and blues act in Romania - performed a live gig during the open-air JIMBO BLUES Festival in Jimbolia, Romania. On this ocassion, its lineup included two guests - the Timisoara-based guitarplayer and songwriter KAJTAR "STORYTELLER GUITAR" ARPAD ( / storytellerguitar ) and the fine violin player ALEXANDRU BOTA, who plays with the Camerata Salzburg orchestra and is also a member of Nuevo Tango Quintet. This was one of the last performances of BELA KAMOCSA, a legendary figure of the Romanian jazz and blues scene for four decades.
Acesta este concertul sustinut de BEGA BLUES BAND pe scena Teatrului de Vara din Jimbolia in 22 august 2009 in cadrul festivalului Jimbo Blues 2009. Cu aceasta ocazie, celei mai longevive formatii de blues-jazz din Romania i s-au alaturat chitaristul si compozitorul timisorean KAJTAR "STORYTELLER GUITAR" ARPAD ( / storytellerguitar ) si violonistul ALEXANDRU BOTA, care face parte din orchestra Camerata Salzburg si din grupul Nuevo Tango Quintet.. Concertul a fost unul din ultimele in care a aparut BELA KAMOCSA, o figura legendara a scenei de jazz si blues din Romania timp de patru decenii.
