It's probably the typical "cool gadget from the future" vibe, even though it didn't show to be touchscreen.
Colecovision was an incredible system for it's time!
"Oh don't you know, I'm like a Pac Man with a bow!" That was so ridiculous it was hilarious.
But she actually is exatly that Lol.

My favorite commercial in this video would definitely have to be the "Mario Bros." Atari commercial, especially with the catchy song that plays as Luigi deals with the various enemies from the game. "Mario, where are you??" XD

Car 54, where are you?
That's the original version of the song; the theme from "Car 54, Where Are You?" which is a 2-season prime time Comedy show about 2 Police Officers in New York; Gunther Toody, who's a bit like a highly talkative Homer Simpson, and Francis Muldoon, who's often more reserved in speech and who somehow gets along with Toody.

My mind was completely frazzled when I saw & heard these video game cartridge TV commercials I've never seen or heard of. Just what was I thinking of? I now think quite often a lot about the first field trip I've missed in 1985. It was the trip to Pigeon Point lighthouse. I'm glad I already came there 20 years later; just right long before Ed Ferraro died. He was my former psychologist therapist. 😳
Its funny how those old Activision commercials show you damn near every screen in the game, like the Pitfall one, for example. Still tho, love the flashback!

Wish I could get as excited playing games as these people do. Can't believe they screwed up the Atari version of Pac Man up that bad, all they had to do was make his mouth and eyes face a different direction.

My favorite retro console is the Nintendo 64-
It has awesome graphics
It also games were some of the first true 3D games
It had the first 3D Mario and Zelda games
If I had a Nintendo 64, I would never give it up because it is a truly awesome and memorial Nintendo console

Special effects back then where it is made to look like something in the future, has often inspired things like the "tablet" in this commercial (that is real). Star trek influenced tons of technology that we have today.

I would say that's a depiction of a lot of different people for decades waaaay before gaming even existed.
