After working 13 hrs, I went to Mc Donalds and asked if they could add double meat on my Big Mac. The drive thru lady said okay, and she repeated everything back correctly and told me to pull up to the window. Gave my card, got my receipt. Got my meal, looked thru my bag and found no extra meat on my Big Mac. Had to knock on the window to get their attention and when they finally decided to stop pretending, that I wasn't there, they opened the window and asked if I needed anything else. I said yeah, um there's no extra meat on my burger. She said I'm sorry we can't do that. Then I looked at my receipt and the worker before at the speaker didn't even ring it up. LOL... So, I said will you add 2 extra patties pls? I'll pay for them. She said OK, I'll be right back. Came back to the window talking about she asked the cook, and he said no. LOL.. NO??? I was like what in the world?? So, I said, well, okay thanks anyway and drove off. The saddest part is that it's the Mc Donalds literally 5 minutes walking distance from my Apts!! I didn't even bother talking to a manager because it wasn't worth the time. So, at home I ate my food and ordered a damn pizza since I was off the on the weekend. It came piping hot and with all the extras I asked for and tipped the guy well and thanked him for customer service and smile and said, man, don't ever lose that positive spirit brother because there will be a time when we can't do for ourselves, but we'll know we still have a positive spirit within us! I feel sorry for the future of the restaurant industry, and they're lack hospitality, customer service and just good common sense to make an executive decision over monetary gains. Keep rockin' CHICK FIL A!! KEEP ON ROCKIN!! 💪💪
It’s funny , my family loves this place. All they serve is chicken sandwiches but they are the best period. The order has never been wrong. Ever. And we have ate here at least hundreds of times. Never wrong. I don’t know where they find employees. You will never see an idiot here. Just a beautiful experience
And that's how it's done! That's why you see their drive thru movin' and shakin' also. If you see there are a lot of people in the drive-thru line don't leave or decide not to go because it's just an 8 minute wait and when they say 8 minutes, they really mean it!
I’m just looking to brush up on my people skills. Lol I’m not even a chick fil a employee but honestly this type of attitude has gone along way in my business.
As a young black woman, I'm embarrassed that young, black women in customer service are so rude to customers. I was at Chick Fil A yesterday (which they are usually known to have really good customer service) and I had a young black girl wait on me, she was very dry, didn't thank me, didn't say have a nice day, and she looked like she didn't want to be at work. This is the second time this has happened to me at Chick Fil A when a young, black woman waited on me (two different black women, same restaurant). The first time I went to Chick Fil A, a young white male waited on me and he was very pleasant. My friend had an Asian young man wait on her yesterday, and she said he was also very pleasant. Young, black women, WE HAVE TO DO BETTER!!! I had worked in customer service for over 10 years and I was very pleasant. People were often surprised by my pleasantness.
I am a young black woman that works at Wendy’s and I am very pleasant. I make sure my customers are smiling when they leave the restaurant. Although I can see how you would think this, but it’s generally all that work in fast food excluding Chick-fil-A that you see employees who do not give out great customer service. All genders and all races. When you see a nice employee it is either that they have a great personality or they are working in a good environment. See, most fast food workers do not work and the best environments. Including me. It is stressful and everyone seems to carry a negative aura. Although I am able to keep myself upbeat and happy. Others may not be able too. I am not saying that their behavior is excusable but most people just aren’t able to work in that type environment while keeping a positive attitude.
I work at jacks. Jacks needs to step it up. I love the food, i like working there, but there is no emphasis on custermer service and appreciation, which makes working there more frustrating than what it has to be, which pretty sure reflects back to what customers see. For reals Jack HQ you need to hire me ;)
Many companies desire to model their customer service after this company, and they would be right to do so. However, one issue I see that this company has accomplished but glosses over in these videos, "they have enough staff to do those extra steps". Every Chick fil A I have been in, is staffed very well, and if they have a day where they are short staffed its once in awhile occurrence. Chick fil A does an excellent job at staffing their stores, and they launch a new store with tons of people ready to go. They dont "build to the demand", instead they know there is a demand, and they are that confident they will have the business, so they hire the people, train them the right way, and conquer the industry from there.
Sadly "genuine" isn't forcing your employees to say "my pleasure." Genuine is letting them treat people well but not forcing them to say certain lines.
I just wish I liked chicken sandwiches as much as I do hamburgers. Unfortunately, I make 10 trips to McDonalds for every trip to Chick FIl-A. And what a contrast that is in service. Half the time, the McDonald's drive thru employee couldn't tell you if I was a man or woman if you asked them right after I was served. They hand the food out the window while never turning their head to see me, much less greet me. The orders are frequently wrong, the food is not hot or even warm. It is amazing to me that McDonald's prospers despite very mediocre service (at best). Chick Fil-A is the gold standard and the rest are not even close.
I’m so blessed to work at this amazing company
I love chic fil a such a amazing place
Me too
Really helpful... I just impressed with the 2nd miles services...
Meanwhile, mcdonalds employees throw a double double at me and tell me to HURR UP and GO!
Go on get out of here you filthy animal.
@@mikekazz5353 that’s why I will never get a thing from McDonald’s ever again. They used to be caring for the customer and children.

I work at a fast food with mostly black women. They are pleasant and are always smiling. I just feel you had a bad experience with these two women.
stop spreading your self-hatred
maybe it's all in your head

maybe if you stop generalizing everything on race you will be less miserable, yikes

Dude, start pushing that customer service, move up, and make this your focus to drive your store or market to differentiate yourself from the rest.
What if at 4:28 the employee just made up the name Bill lol
Bill is life.
Are you taking care of your employees.

So true be served at this great place

They don’t force us to say my pleasure, it’s simply a nicer way of saying thank you, and it’s just a chick fil a trademark. I don’t mind saying it
