how many parabolas can we cut out from the cone? when we slice at right angles we can get many circles. is this true for parabolas? will there be a fixed angle of slicing for a parabola ;like in circle as 90 degrees?
infine parabolas if their thickness is almost equal to zero .The angle of slicing really depends on the angle its parralel side makes with the base circle
