How Disney Is Killing Pixar

- Acquiring them in 2006 after distributing their movies for around 10 years, Disney and Pixar have shared one of the best marriages in the film industry. But after years of Oscars and some of the best performing animated films of all time, the relationship appears to be souring with Disney sending all their films to Disney Plus, skipping a theatrical release. What's going on with them and why is Disney treating them like this? Here is why Disney is slowly killing Pixar and how they can save them.

Toy Story 3 is awesome. A perfect ending to the series.
The fact that they just announced that turning red is only on disney is baffling. the amount of work all those people who worked on this movie has to be insane. I was so hyped to go see this in theaters.

It's sad to see how much Pixar has just been brushed to the side like theyve been as of late. As if they dont matter as much as Disney's own animated content. Whatever may happen next, hopefully Pixar wont suffer the same fate that blu sky studios did. Where despite having the potential to grow under Disney's wing, disney instead shut them down, not let them finish their next film that only needed 10 more months to finish(nimona) and just take the properties they made and make their own stuff with them(ice age adventures of buck wild).

burn the money, the pandemic has caused too much crisis for that shit money!!!
and if I'm still in killing that CEO!
Pixar was literally the studio that carried Disney during the 2000s era. Hurts to see them being treated this way.
It really says something about Disney and Pixar's relationship when in the 2000s Disney was struggling whereas Pixar was having hit after hit, and then when the 2010s came along (and Disney bought Pixar) Pixar was the one that was struggling and it was Disney that was having hit after hit.

Disney must not lose its way. Disney needs to treat Pixar better and have more respect for the medium of animation in general. It laid the foundation for Disney being the rich and successful entertainment conglomerate business it is today!
If only Pixar said No to Disney's Offer in 2006 and went to Warner Bros. Or 20th Century Fox (which is unfortunately owned by Disney)
“There are benefits to having a movie only being on streaming,” and “We should point out how poorly Disney is treating their properties,” are two statements that you can agree with at the same time.
It shows that having movies only on streaming can work but Disney doesn’t know how to truly do that
After morale was low when Luca was put on Disney+, Disney promised that Turning Red would get a theatrical release. I can’t imagine how PISSED Pixar employees must feel right now. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if a mass amount of employers from Pixar walk out and go work for Sony or something.
Ye I would support a new Pixar company forming with all the good employees leaving and making Pixar quality films but for studios that respect them

Boo! Why would Disney suddenly break its Turning Red promise at the last minute?
I’ve noticed it too. A lot of Disney Pixar films have been failing. It’s not just a coincidence either. I believe Disney is setting up to switch to more live action remakes. It’s really sad how far Disney has fallen and how far Pixar has been tossed down the bin of the forgotten.
I think that will be there biggest mistake. The last time Disney pulled a stunt like this was in the 1970s and it really stunted the quality of there animated branch until the late 80s under katsinberg.

In the long run, Disney buying Pixar was a mistake on every single level that never should have happened (same with the Muppets, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, Blue Sky Studios, etc.).

I'm really glad someone is talking about this problem about the treatment of Pixar movies. As much as I love getting free movies with the streaming service, Pixar deserves more respect and theatrical release of one of their movies this year. Disney has struggled with their CEOs for a long while from what I heard until Bob Iger stepped in and now we are going down this spiral again and it is hurting Disney and the studios under it. I just want things get better.

I think the main Disney is hesitant to release Pixar movies into Theatres is because they make original movies with original stories and original characters that aren’t based off a pre existing ip, whereas with Disney films they are based off a lot of ips and popular stories, also keep in mind that Pixar had a lackluster decade in the 2010’s which means they’ve lost their reputation for the best animated movies of all time, so they’re not the box office draw they used to be with the exception of Toy Story.
Yeah….. but then why would they release Encanto to theaters, an original movie not based on any brand? And why put premiere access on Raya and the Last Dragon, while keeping Soul and Luca free?
Because people have a stronger connection to the Disney brand than the Pixar brand, also keep in mind most of their movies are based on pre existing stories and I’m pretty sure Encanto is based on Colombian myths and legends.

The worst part about this whole situation is that Pixar seems to be in a renaissance period. After a decade of making mediocre sequels and some uncomfortable behind-the-scenes drama, they seemed to finally be getting their act together and start making great original movies again. However, Disney is squandering their potential to thrive as much as their golden age movies by denying them theatrical releases. Soul and Luca had the opportunity to become well-regarded works of animation on the same level as movies like Ratatouille or Up, but by shoving those films to a straight-to-streaming release, Disney is making them look like they're not high-quality enough to warrant being seen on the big screen, and that sucks because if these films don't get a chance to succeed, Pixar might have to resort to making sequels again just to stay afloat as a company.

This is the reason so many people nowadays just stick with the older movies, and the ones grew up with because that's precisely what those kinds of movies did for them. They were heartfelt, funny, for all the ages, full of value, and are consistently good every time you watch them. While one of the purposes was the company to make money, they still wanted to deliver a quality product to the viewers and it feels like they've lost that.
Pixar hasn't though

Luca and Soul weren't quality products?
It is a crime that Soul never got the cinema release it deserved and quite frankly warranted with its sound design - probably Pixar’s best ever
I’ve been feeling like this for a while. The value Pixar brings to the table is incredible. It’s one of the few if only movie studios where I’ve watched EVERY SINGLE movie they’ve come out with. I was shocked when Soul and Luca came out for free on Disney+ when I fully would have paid to watch them. It made me sad because I don’t want Pixar’s brand to be cheapened when everyone holds them to a very high standard

They're turning Pixar to what Circle 7 was supposed to be.
Pixar was Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Cars, Nemo, Ratatouille.

I liked Bolt a lot in my childhood... to the point of giving my dog that name.
Now there's a Bolt in my house.
I used to have a dog named Bolt, and I have a pin of Bolt that I bought at Disneyland about 10 years ago
Bolt is awesome.
I just wonder why it's only Pixar. They could've done the same with their other studios or do the premier access thing alongside theatrical releases. But for some reason they only keep all of Pixar's stuff exclusively on D+
It's weird.
Though here's the thing, I do agree how these movies can benefit off streaming services. I mean look at Encanto. That movie wasn't making too much buzz during it's theatrical run during thanksgiving but after it's release on D+, it's practically the most popular animated movie as of now because of it's easy accessibility. We're still in a pandemic and there are still lots of people who are hesitant to go out to theaters. Yeah I'm bummed that yet another original Pixar movie is gonna hit streaming only but I think this is the best choice for now until cases slow down.
Meh.
Disney only does this to Pixar because they know that Marvel will make them money in theatres. Though, ironically, the highest grossing film is a Marvel one, but it’s the one Sony has the rights to. Go figure.
Maybe Disney should take the HBO Max approach to releasing movies.
As a consumer Im both happy I get to see these movies for ‘free’ but also annoyed I can’t see them on the big screen. I loved Luca but was frustrated I didn’t have the option to see it at the cinema, especially since here in the UK things are opening up way more. I worked at a cinema last year and it was bizarre that you could see crap like the boss baby 2 and adams family 2 but not the new Pixar film. Just seems wrong.

@Sugar Circus Art You gotta admit, the scene where he says "you got me off the island" was fucking perfect.
Tbh you should watch Luca and Encanto. Luca is nice, heart warming story to warch when you feel down, and Encanto has really good message and characters
The problem that has emerged with Disney and Pixar is how formulaic their movies have become. Unlike their competition at Sony Pictures Animation, who are pushing the boundaries of the animation medium with a 2 part sequel to Into The Spiderverse, much of Disney and Pixar’s modern film catalogue lacks the creativity and wow factor that it once had during each studio’s renaissance period. For Disney, this was from the Little Mermaid up to Mulan (1989-1998), and for Pixar, this was from Toy Story all the way to Up (1995-2009).
Encanto is one of the best Disney movies ever.

It’s great to see you talk about other things aside from Sonic such as movies and tv shows.
If you think Disney is affecting Pixar, look at Warner Bros at how they’re disrespecting not only their directors vision, but also disrespecting fans of the DCEU or DC in general, the actors coming out their horrible experience with Justice League such as Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher, keeping Amber Heard in Aquaman 2, I could go on how WB is very inconsistent and disorganized on how much they don’t care about their fans.
I agree with you. I love WB and it's my all time fave but seeing what is going through disgusts me! But you need to understand one thing.. It's not the company... It's the people! They're the reason it's happening, the disrespect for directors, the DCEU, fans, and more! I hate it! It deserves good people who care and always directors to take their time to get it right and love/respect their fans and give them what they love. The key to fix this is by one solution... Time travel! With it WB (& maybe Disney) will be in better hands with good people and we make sure the worst, bad, and stupid directors, executive producers, producers, writers, creators and more from existing so that they and we can live in a better opportunity then we are right now. Plus Fox, Pixar, star wars, marvel and more never to be in hands of Disney as well after traveling through time. What you do think?

@@albertoromero5075 Don't be a troll.
I'm not a troll, I'm just very pissed off!!!
I don’t blame Disney. I blame John Lasseter. He may have founded the studio and steered the ship in its early days, but his dream job was always running Disney. So when they put him in charge of both, it seemed like a good move even if he might be stretched thin. As it turned out, that should have been the least of their concerns. Lasseter may love Disney, but he also despised them for not giving CGI animation the chance a decade earlier than they did, as the man literally believes he is just as much of a revolutionary as Walt himself. As such, he began homogenizing the studios, forcing Disney to give up 2D animation entirely and then refusing to do more than the bare minimum in his efforts at Pixar. All this ego ended up with the somewhat mixed bag of quality both companies experienced in the 2010s, as well as… the other stuff. In a weird way though, while I obviously don’t condone his behavior, that other stuff turned out to be the thing that allowed Disney to give him the boot, and now Pixar is in the hands of one of its greatest talents, Pete Docter. The theatrical thing is still a problem, and I hope COVID will have lightened up a bit so that Pixar can get back to theaters by at least when Lightyear comes out. And looking on the bright side, while Pixar movies being given the streaming-only treatment may seem to be a complete disgrace, I see it as more of a double-edged sword given how popular Soul and Luca were despite - or perhaps, BECAUSE of - their streaming releases. But in terms of the films’ quality themselves, I think Pixar is finally on the right track.
Good video. I do hope Pixar doesn't get destroyed by Disney, cause they really have made some of the best animated movies ever made. The first two Toy Story movies are a couple of my favorite movies. Also a big fan of Monsters Inc and others. I even defend the Cars movies to an extent (and yes, that includes Cars 2, though I do think that one should've been a spin-off and Cars 3 should've been Cars 2)
Yeah. I really just want to see a Pixar movie in theaters once again. I was actually thinking of seeing Turning Red in theaters, but nope, thrown on Disney Plus. I’d honestly be kinda mad if I was a movie theater right now given we aren’t in lockdowns or anything like we were going on 2 years ago and they are the ones originally advertising these movies that get ported. I remember seeing the Turning Red teaser in theaters and that being how I learned about the movie, and then I learn that now I will just get to sit in front of my TV and watch it on Disney Plus. Bores me as a consumer and screws over everyone else.
I saw a theater manager mad on reddit over this because not as many families will come now, I think the next animated family movie coming out is Bad Guys in April which honestly doesn't even look that good.

"Lightyear looks amazing! It looks ambitious and cool and unique! This could be Pixar's next big hit!".
Dang, this statement didn't age well.
To be fair, I kind of see their point. In a way, while it could be seen as disrespectful for these films to not get a theatrical release, no one would see them in theaters. Look at what happened to Encanto. That movie bombed in theaters, but the minute it hit Disney+ the film exploded in popularity. People won't see a movie in theaters nowadays unless they have a good reason to see it immediately, and as evidenced this past year that only seems to facilitate MCU films. More exposure is always a good thing.
Bullshit even the mcu struggled this year, until Shang Chi came out and that gave people the push they needed to start wanting to go out to the movies again. Shang chi walked so Spiderman could run and that's ALL it's going to take for animated movies too, just one really awesome movie to come out and push people to go out to see animated movies again. Honestly i'm shocked that was'nt Encanto that movie is amazing and showed that even if the execs of Disney have their heads up their asses the actual creative team is still firing on all cylinders. I think Lightyear might be the movie to give people that push providing Chapek can cut the bullshit.
We needed soul to come out in theaters cuz I feel like that would’ve been the flame for animated movies again especially due to the movie looking amazing
I said this back when Soul got ditched into Disney + whereas Raya got a premiere release, but I was called a madman. Now that everyone has accepted this modus operandi several times, Disney managed to normalize this undermining of Pixar and it's too late to change this business model and maybe even stop them from dissolving Pixar into becoming an extension of Disney Animation. @@bean181 Not only did Lightyear bomb at the box office it's gotten mixed reviews from critics & fans alike. To be honest I don't even feel bad Pixar in this situation because I don't think Toy Story needed a spinoff film to begin with it just feels like their milking it now when it should've ended at the 3rd.
It's unfortunate because if Lighyear a spinoff to Pixars most beloved franchise failed financially in theatres then Disney will probably think the chances of an original movie with no ties to any previous Pixar film will also probably fail like Onward did 2 years ago. It's unfortunate that Lightyear a very unnecessary movie will probably stop future Pixar movies that could actually be good from being in theatres forcing people to get a Disney+ subscription if they wanna watch it.
Pixar is suffering from their connection to Disney. Disney properties and actors have made habits of insulting viewers and fans before their products release. It's turned a lot of people away. For the most part, I don't even hear about Disney's movies anymore. No one around me (who all love their movies) even mention them anymore. When you Disney made a movie, that used to mean it would be good. When Pixar made a movie, that used to mean it was really good. And while I can't debate the quality of their recent films, Disney has been acquiring a bad reputation. And Pixar is and will suffer for it.
It's a shame Onward didn't get a greater reception. I found it to be one of Pixar's more interesting, well crafted and truly captivating original movies in a long time. Pixar has really been killing it in the latter half of the 2010s and all of their films have been much better than Disney Animations. I didn't think Luca quite measured up but it still should've been released in theaters. It's not right that Disney's new animated movies which haven't been great are getting theatrical releases while Pixar's higher quality movies are being made Disney+ exclusives. Morale is down at Pixar because of this unfair treatment and this won't motivate them to continue working hard to produce their best work if it's not going to be worth much in the end. I'm a lifelong Disney fan as well but I think the company today is straying from Walt's vision and those currently in charge of it do not possess the values and eye for talent he had. They've taken very wrong turns with their own studios, Lucasfilm and now Marvel because the desire to innovate has taken a backseat to whatever will turn the easiest profit which is why the Disney theme park experience is also dying. I believe Pixar is one of the few studios left in Hollywood still turning out quality entertainment with incredible passion to inspire future generations rather than propaganda to appease the present one. We NEED Pixar to remain strong and successful but I also fear it might not be for long if Disney's destructive path continues.
Luca is quite an iconic lgbt movie now, it would measure up. And would have made it.
It quite resonated with the crowd it wanted to. lgbt community.

Luca isn't an LGBTQ+ movie. People need to stop inventing representation where it doesn't exist.
How both kids were straight how is it a gay film
Finally someone who appreciates onward
Bro how is Luca an lgbt movie O~O
Tbh, the reason I agree with you is because I DON'T HAVE DISNEY PLUS. Disney please, release it on theater so I can watch it!!
Brooooo seeing you talk about movies in general in so dope, can’t wait to see what you do next! Love both of your channels man 👊
Didnt expect to see you here nice to see a person with similar interests
This channel will obviously blow up, the way you explain and keeping your audience engaged is amazing.
Love you, Ricardo❤😊 (Btw, I did know your name from Twitter hah😅❤)
Yoo man huge fan good to see you branch out been watching since the merch hunts good to see the success
super happy with this channel!!
I'm gonna be honest, I love your Sonic content so much
...But I am a humongous fan of turning these kinds of analysis or real talk videos on and just taking a break from everything, it's the best. Great first video, omg!!
Great points and just overall, real nice job! ^^ Excited to see more in the future, take care though, 4 videos a week altogether for both channels sounds... challenging. You've got this, but please try not to burn yourself out for others to be happy here, k? You got this Ricardooo!
waiting till this dude gets 100k in a few years
Let’s try for months! 😈
I really hope Soul, Luca, Turning Red, and Ownward get a 2nd chance by having them re-released in theaters. I REALLLLY wanted to see Soul and Luca on the big screen. I hate being forced to watch movies like this. Especially taking away that big event from two frist time directors.
I'm not sure if anybody else's local movie theater does this, but my local movie theater (I'm not sure if they still do this, it's been awhile since I've been there) would re-released old movies and show them and theaters during the summer time. However these movies were kid's movies and they would show them like really early in the morning.
I’ve not seen my family in 3 years, we are meeting up again for the first time this summer and the first thing we want to do is all go see Lightyear in the movies. We are super hyped I hope Disney can pick that up
In defense of the hardworking animators behind our fave Pixar movies, I suggest that they should organize a strike against the Mouse!
so glad i found your channel!! this is right up my alley!!! i would absolutely love a video on the Disney era from 2011 Tangled-present (or maybe a distinct ending point bc I do feel like that era is kinda dying out now). I feel like it's definitely a distinct period kind of like a another "Renaissance," but I think we should rename it haha. But with their move to CGI and Tangled and Frozen, reigniting the Disney princesses and more, it definitely deserves its own video!
I feel like the era is from 2011 to 2017 (the year that awful Last Jedi movie came out). Then 2018 we had Disney's Wreck It Ralph 2 which is right up there with the emoji movie in quality.
I’d say it ends with the Lasseter scandal and Stan Lee’s death.
I've got friends who work at Pixar, and my impression is that morale is low. This is the equivalent of putting Star Wars or Lord of the Rings or the Godfather straight onto DVD. It's a move that might make them some decent revenue but will not make the sorts of memories that you get seeing a movie in theaters for the first time. Heck, watching movies with my kids at the theater is a way better experience than watching them at home because for them, eating fresh-made popcorn and seeing everything on a big screen is half the experience.
Lightyear was clearly MADE to be a theatrical experience. I hope and pray it's given the respectful release it deserves.
Yes I hope to god light year is exclusively in theaters
It could be Pixar’s next masterpiece
I love your choice of Sonic Megacollection music for this video!
There is something to be said though about how 'Turning Red' also doesn't look like it's going to hold up when standing next to Raya or Up, you know, I'm sure it's going to be great but it just feels different to me, it doesn't seem strong enough or like it has enough passion to make it as big as the other masterpieces both Disney and Pixar have made. But it all depends on how the movie goes I guess.
There's still time for Disney to revert Turning Red's original plan for a theatrical release. But I swear that Lightyear is a spectacle worth seeing in theaters.
Typed on 1/19.
and also There is still time for the crisis to be over soon, I do not want 2022 and the following years to follow the tradition of 2020 for being bad!
I doubt Turning Red will be in theaters, but I hope so.
or rather, go to the disney studio and kill the CEO!
This is how identity politics destroys everything it touches.
I have a feeling Disney will take all the Pixar properties and shut down the studio eventually
I just wish they would have more movies with bloopers!
I’m not really surprised that Turning Red was put on Disney+, it doesn’t even look that great. Meanwhile Lightyear better keep its theatrical release because it looks great.
That it does boy, that it does.
Yeah, the animation of Turning Red just reminds me of those annoying Grubhub animated ads, I don't like how it looks...
@@Laura.Gregori Not only that, but the character designs are using an art style that has been milked since 2013.
@@Pepperknight341 yeah, I really don't like this "CalArts" style. I think it could still be good but I would prefer Pixars normal style.
Turning Red ain't nothin' but a Luca ripoff.
I watched bolt when i was younger literally every day lmao
Same!
I forgot Onward happened. And I don't know why Brave is always put down, I think it's a pretty good movie. But, for me, the post-Inside Out era has just been getting more bland, and it doesn't help that Disney plays favorites with the Disney Animation studio vs Pixar. I can't even tell if Coco or Moana are Pixar or Disney Animation without looking it up (Encanto too now).
I can't say I'm surprised Turning Red is getting dumped on D+ though, it looks like a ripoff of "Ginger Snaps" and Ghibli films. Oh look, another movie where an adolescent's puberty is represented by turning into a fantasy creature, it's not like *that's* ever been done before 🙄🤷♀️
Dunno why it's never mentioned but in concept Turning Red really reminds me of the anime series Dino Girl Gauko.
To those IRL, I sound a bit of an anti-Disney, especially when I express real disappointment that Pixar is thrown in the trash per se, well, ya worded it way better than I can. This studio shouldn't be "hidden", it should be butting heads with Illumination to show whose boss.😭
Turning Red didn't even look very good (it looked like another generic modern western animated project) but GOOD LORD this is a bad idea!
somewhat good news: Went to the theater the other day, saw one of those small billboards with "lightyear" on it. This might mean lightyear could get a theatrical release folks
Ayo! SpeedSuperSonic,Nice to see you're branching out with a new channel!
Would it all be better to just *STOP* watching Disney movies?
Probably...
In theory yes, however for a lot of people (including myself), a lot of Disney's films are *staples* in people's childhoods.
Even if I didn't really grow up with Disney and primarily grew up on Dreamworks, Pre-Disney Star Wars and Pre-Disney Blue Sky, Tangled is still *the* Disney film I love to fall back on because I remember that film fondly, and it's still one of my favourite films to date.
Unfortunately, Disney owns a lot of the studios that made a lot of people's childhoods, they own about 40 to 45% of the entertainment industry, so that is a really huge chunk you'd have to cut out, so even if we weren't trying to directly support Disney, if we bought a cinema ticket to something like, I don't know, 20th Century Fox, we'd still be indirectly supporting Disney simply because of Disney owning that company, therefore the money that they get from the products they have, they'll also gain as well.
I think the only we would even defeat Disney at this point is to put our money into independently made films or put our money into companies that just aren't bought by Disney yet (Universal Studios, Sony, Sony Animated Pictures and Illumination come to mind for the big contenders that could try and contend against Disney).
I hope lightyear doesn’t go on Disney + cause I wanna experience it at the cinema
Keep your fingers crossed
I’m pretty sure Disney’s not dumb enough to put this film on Disney plus especially if it’s based off the Toy Story franchise, it’s definitely gonna release Lightyear in theaters.
Wow this is an amazing video. You know a lot about Disney movies, you have amazing potential in your channel. I highly enjoyed your video and like to see more about pop culture and I’m a huge fan of Sonic channel as well.😊
Ahhh! I also watched Bolt like 5 times in a row! I was crazy into Disney when I was a kid and the day I got Bolt on dvd I plopped myself on the couch and did not get back up again
Love this channel so far
I have a scary feeling that This is how Disney is going to treat Pixar movies from now on.
Is Disney showing favoritism to Disney Animation studio? Because why was Raya and the Last Dragon and Encanto released in theaters?
We’ll see when Strange World comes.
@Santiago's Videos & Stuff
Some sort of presentation I found.
This was very interesting
I can't wait to see more of your new channel
Perfect start to the channel👍😄
Another thing to keep in mind is Disney lost a ton of non Disney plus revenue the moment theatres and theme parks shut down. Not to mention Disney owns espn sports too.
I think it's inevitable at this point that Disney will either turn Pixar into "Disney+ Studios" or just merge Disney Animation and Pixar. I mean, it never made sense for me that Disney made CGI movies just like Pixar when the two are the same company, it made sense when Disney were the traditional animation guys and Pixar the CG guys, but now? Disney movies look like Pixar movies, so what's the point of having them separate?
Also, I don't know why so many people didn't like Onward, I adored that movie.
I don’t think it’s that people disliked ‘Onward’, I think it’s more that Pixar has raised the bar with how good their movies can be, and compared to ‘Inside Out’, ‘Coco’ and even ‘Soul’ after it, ‘Onward’ does feel generic in comparison.
This is a very well-made video, Ricardo.
A nice change of pace from the traditional sonic videos (which I love)
And yeah, it’s clear Disney is really doing Pixar dirty.
Which is odd, it’s one of the four pillars keeping The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, & Disney Enterprises standing.
The first pillar being Disney itself, the second being Pixar, the third being Marvel Studios, and the last being Lucasfilm.
While I get Luca going straight to Disney+, I do definitely think Turning Red & Soul deserved to be in theaters. (Even with soul’s flaws)
But hey, what do I know? I’m not a wealthy Hollywood multi-media businessman or woman.
Keep up the good work Rick, can’t wait to see what the future of this channel holds!
EXCELLENT video bro! You just earned another subscriber... (I almost never subscribe after just watching one video; this was THAT good)
Awesome, thank you!
According to Nielsen, “Luca” was actually the most streamed movie of 2021
I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one feeling bad for Pixar for their free movie releases.Hopefully Lightyear will be in theaters.
I remember when Luca was supposed to release. I was planning to go to the theater & I kept checking to see what movie times were available only to find out that it was only going to premiere on Disney+. I’ve always preferred Pixar over Disney films so it’s a shame they are doing this to the studio.
