I have just finished the 40 hr. RBT course, your videos are much more helpful in teaching about the actual work that I've already started doing. I have been feeling unprepared for for this work, but your videos have increased my confidence. Thank you. Kevin
I can't even begin to describe how useful your videos have been for me. I'm preparing to take my RBT exam, and you have made it so much easier to understand the basic concepts and foundations of these principles! Thank you!
I love your video!! I think for intraverbal, the important part is to remember that it's used for items or situations not currently happening. For example, if the provider is pointing to the trampoline and saying "you jump on the _____" that would not qualify as an intraverbal. This is the part that I missed out and only recently figured out, so I hope this will help someone else! This is important because caregivers want to be able to say, "What happened at school today?" and receive a response.
6:29 an alternative easy strategy is to imagine you are "tacking" on labes to things, pointing to painting and say "painting"/"art" you have now verbally (using your words) 'tact' a lable to it ('tacked' a lable to it)
Hi there! Thank you for your channel! I'm a new RBT pursuing my degree as a BCBA. I would love to see more detailed modeling in teach mands. This is a hard one for me to contrive and find the EO in some of the harder ones in more advanced learners.
Hi.. I really like the content. May I ask could this therapy applied to dyspraxia kid? My daughter have a problem with communication and using proper sentence when she asked to do storytelling about her daily activities.
Thanks Moricio, I liked your video a lot , please can you publish some more .like some more examples how to implement these strategies.i have an ASD child and he is struggling with language.i want to help him.
If you haven't seen the ABA therapy playlist on my channel, I recommend it to get things started. I'll try to implement more examples in future videos.
I wanna ask about mand for information and interaverbal, so how do I differentiate between the two? If I take your example his ask mom what this?vshe answered him it's tree , when I can say it's mand for information or it's interaverbal!
Hey Rushna, self stimulatory behavior is definitely something I will cover in a future video. But the basic idea is that you have to decide why you want to stop the behavior. Is it because it is impeding on learning or because others find it bothersome. I feel that if it isn't impeding learning, it should not be a high priority because it is a form of stress relief. If it does impede then an incompatible behavior should be prompted. So for example if a session cannot be run due to hand-flapping, then prompt the child to raise their hands or do another incompatible behavior to prevent it from occurring.

I wanna ask about mand for information and interaverbal, so how do I differentiate between the two? If I take your example his ask mom what this?vshe answered him it's tree , when I can say it's mand for information or it's interaverbal!

Mauricio Borda hello sir....u r sharing amazing info but can u make more videos like that can u tell us how to treat self stimulators behaviour
Hey Rushna, self stimulatory behavior is definitely something I will cover in a future video. But the basic idea is that you have to decide why you want to stop the behavior. Thank you so much!
I figure the question that the therapist needs to keep in mind is what is the patient going to say about the therapy when he or she is grown.
Thank you sir
Thank you
