p7272 I agree. I hit the skating rink during the week and I see other black and asian women skating pretty well. It's a fun way to get in shape. Basically you just have to go to a roller rink to witness it unless you live in Colorado, lol.
Kaylah B. Wow that's crazy. I just found out that a lot of people go skating in my area at a rink. I found out not too long ago they have skate parks too. The roller rinks are pretty crowded (which is good).
Where do you usually like to skate? At a rink or just outside?
Kaylah B. That's great. Sometimes the rinks can be too crowded and it does not help in giving you more space to grow as a skater so I can definitely understand. I used skate at a high school when the parking lot was empty and I notice I did feel more comfortable when there was more space all to me.
Yep get some protective gear. It helps you feel more comfortable to try new things without breaking a bone.

Amazing editing in this considering the shot-reverse-shot of each jump required each trick be done twice so no camera was seen. Love the BG track too. Curious what stabilizer or body they used for these following shots.

What kind of socks would you suggest using if I want to rollerblade in Reykjavik in october? Is it realistic to think about skating across the city in this month? What about the weather?
I once tried to skate through water - I ended up doing the splits, and my bum skimmed through the water, until I finally collapsed in a heap on the other side. Needless to say that was right in front of a pub full of people - you could hear the laughter miles away.
