- Vitruvius has just received a significant buff! In today's video I take a look at the changes, and what they mean for the character, the teams he can be part of, and the guild raid meta as a whole. As ever, let me know what you think in the comments!

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that sho will really shine paired with Vitruvius. Basically double damage for him and the drones.
Started farm the Legendary material a ned for D3 him some Day, his aktive can be ignored for raids. But max pasive, but from lvl 35-50 is 183 exp books. Sow gona take a while get that, and badges neded.
Not sure yet about must have, but I have definitely found him very useful.
I stop reading the Discord, too much hate and complaints. Agree with the changes, but instead will focus on Thoread
Glad I'm not alone thoread has been getting lots of love here too
I wonder if it makes 1 hit snipers viable too, though I doubt it
Yeah fun when worked on a team over 2 years and now its gone to shit.. wasted 2 years and money
@ As much as I understand the frustration, this is a mobile game.
Everybody know what they sign for before paying in these (or any online live service) :x
So vitruvius new passive will work with blood letters? It could also make yarrick, Creed and the gene stealers more viable with all those summons
Vituvius buff is for the new custode one hit unit...
Oh please be it so :)
Sho will hit like a truck….
Just crossed my mind on the Shos viability point with mech team with Vitruvius... Eldryon boosts all the summons attacking in that round whenever they happen - before the characters, after the characters, old summons, new summons... Vitruvius will probably boost only the units that act after his hit, till the end of that round. So Vitruvius would only boost the hit of one summon that was summoned and attacked after him in the same round, not the majority consisting of the ones summoned in the previous rounds and attacked before the characters turn...
Adds to the point I raised in other comments, Eldryon might still be superior booster than him by allot.
@@mortenlejn Vitruvius buff will be on target until vitruv dies or hits a different target
@lmbert, ooo, so Vitruvius passive would be without expiation data once set? That would sound awesome actually. Was thinking if it would last at least two rounds (like Exitor active), we would be cooking, but if it ends up like you mentioned, we're not just cooking but making a feast with him and Sho :)
Where did you get the info btw?
@@mortenlejn once vitruvius hits, the buff stays until he dies or switches targets
@LordBuzzKillington tanks for confirming. Well, in light of that, I will stop my Eldryon invest and "carefully" start investing in Sho x) never liked the eldari design, boosted Eldryon only for performance reasons. More mechy mech team would actually be a dream come true.
Good thing I already have him to d1. I level my favorite factions, not meta, and boy good thing I love my ad mech
Would Rho really perform better with Vitruvius rather than Eldryon?
I don't know the exact value numbers between the 2.
We would need to see the exact numbers on Vitruvius new passive to be sure of anything, but based on the current info, Rho by himself would probably do better with Vitruvius.
Will the whole Mech team (Rho, Tan, Actus, Aleph/Sho + huge number of summons) do more damage with new Vitruvius compared to new nerfed Eldryon... possibly, with specifically Sho instead or Aleph, but I'm less sure in that.
Will the whole Mech team do more damage with new Vitruvius compared with old Eldryon - I'm the least sure in that. I would bet it will be the opposite, that Mech team would do less damage then they did before the update as the general tendency in this upcoming update would be nerfing of the meta GR teams, but let's see.
@@mortenlejn Yeah it's that debuff number that we have to wait for.
If it doesn't have charges anymore I'm pretty certain they'll nerf down the damage range
Summoner team ❤
I'm just not seeing new Vitruvius replacing nerfed Eldryon in any team. If Eldryon still affects all hits from summons, he still affects significantly more hits than Vitruvius +1... For instance, scarab summon gets 5 times boost from Eldy, but Vitruvius just adds 1 additional hit to them. Vitruvius would still affect Exitor passive, which Eldryon would not any more, but even with that, as mentioned, if you count all the summon hits and all, Eldryon still rules even nerfed.
To me this just sounds Vitruvius in no longer viable in the only GR team I used it in - Neuro team and that Eldryon is still the superior option in the rest of them.
I would very much like to be wrong here, but sounds wise to wait a bit on how it plays out before going all in... Might even be that Vitruvius just lost the little GR viability he had with this.
@@mortenlejn I Will bring him to lvl 35 and farm books and shards, till i SEE is good
I have him transitioning to D1 with passive on 45 for quite some time now. Really like the character btw. He has so hight damage cap on his passive there already (around 6k), that only one character can make full use of it, and that's Neuro. He's not too useful in other teams. And they just made him not viable for Neuro team...
It all depends on if the vitruvius damage cap is changed or not but if not adding +1 hit to things like rho passive, shosyl and tan normal attacks all giving 3k+ extra damage once instead of 898 per hit is more bonus damage so at the high level vitruvius should pretty much match pre nerf eldryon unless using aleph/revas in a more multihit thab multi attack setup
As a side note vitruvius is a mech so will trigger rho +1 time and should hit harder than eldryon so there's a small gain from that to factor in aswell
We will need to see how it works, but scarabs actually have one hit each, so this could possibly add five hits to full swarm. (Or has this been addressed somewhere already?)
So will vitruvius buff a 1hit team?
Lets say... Godswyl, Snipers, Sho'shyl.
Could there be a ranged GR team?
I suppose it depends on the damage cap
@@brobrochannel2387 ranged would benefit. My only issue with that is keeping the boss locked in place. Some bounce all over the shop
@LordBuzzKillington I agree. Maybe if your snipers were well placed by round 2 they could benefit with the heavy weapons straight. Just theory crafting over here
@brobrochannel2387 that's a theory I've been playing with, I have d3 maugan and noble so there's scope there
Arent guild bosses immune to debuffs?
Neuroparasite works tho, that's technically a debuff
Immune to some debuffs like suppress and stun.
Neuro works, vitruvius works, tjarks passive that reduces psyker damage works
First! Must have... don't have.
Likely will be able to get shards in tomorrow's event
Faction raid on GR for the sake of "diversity" I sure hope they see the Irony
